I love this place! the decor is soo cutee. I feel like I'm walking into a cotton candy heaven or something, everything is white with lots of pink and cute mirrors everywhere, plus a huge white classic piano! The yogurt is yummy, and their hot fudge is deliciouss!

I really don't mean to be mean but this place sucks. I was lured in with the Yelp reviews and the cute pictures of the decor and all the pink x white furniture and piano. I want to give this place half a star but obviously I can't. One star because
    - it smelled disgusting when I came in (smelly fake leather x sour feet)
    - it was dirty (everything from the floor, the furniture & the toppings bar)
    - there was trash on the floor that no attendants bothered to pick-up
    - there are only 2 lame flavors of yogurt available
    - the toppings selection was very limited & they were splattered all over
    - no greeting from the cashier when I entered (too busy eating & talking)
    - the cashier was not friendly at all when my friend was trying to small-talk
    - the cashier had a disgusting frown on his face that read "f*ck off"
    - nothing cute about this place, even the bowl & spoon was standard zzz

Variety is the spice of life, and they do not possess the spice.

Only two yogurt choices. There's Tart and More Tart.

Couches are a little beat up. They're off white and tattered. Might be time for an upgrade. I did however like the minimalist decor, just not the
    minimalist yogurt choices.

Even though I'm no longer as giddy for frozen yogurt as my undergrad years, I must admit that this place has good quality yogurt. I like how it's made with honey and no artificial sweeteners. It's self serve and there are plenty of toppings to choose from.

I couldn't fully enjoy my yogurt because a group of men were wearing heavy cologne. One of my pet peeves is when people wear heavy cologne   or perfume to a food establishment. Hello! I want to taste the food, not your funky cologne! Errrr!

Came here on a whim because the buffet above this place had a an hour wait, and we were starving. But it was a pleasant surprise

Acai flavored frozen yogurt?! First time having it...in a cup made from sugar cane I think? and a spoon made from potatos? It's completely natural. But Acai and original were the only flavors =[ Good news is, they're good flavors.

Serve yourself at the toppings bar, but be wary you pay per lb. There are carmel, raspberry, and chocolate sauces too.

Service is kind, they educate you on the yogurt, and they are very patient while you decide what you want.

There is a piano there and white couches, and the piano is a positive and negative. It's a cute concept if you have someone good playing. We got there when a bunch of teenie boppers though it was fun to damage the keys (and my ears.)

--place needs more flavors, and less piano accessibility for a better ambience.

When I popped into the froyo shop with my mom this past weekend, we were disappointed that only two flavors were showcased (Plain & Acai) but they were both very tasty.  We both really liked the creamy texture and clean berry flavor of the Acai, and I opted to mix it with some of the Plain.  The texture of the plain was a little icier, but it didn't detract too much from the overall taste.  I was surprised by how good the frozen yogurt was.  No doubt because the frozen yogurt is made from all-natural ingredients, which was immediately evident after the first taste.  Perhaps not as delicious as Fraiche Yogurt (locations in SF & Palo Alto), but pretty darned close!

Other things I appreciated were the generous samples and that they use compostable spoons & cups!  I'll definitely be stopping by this establishment, mom in tow, when I'm in town!

I have to admit this is probably the best yogurt I've ever had.  The flavors are limited (2 - Plain and Acai) but the flavors are both intense and healthy too!  The toppings are where you add more of your signature style to your favorite treat.

I'd go with fresh strawberries, Plain yogurt and chopped nuts.  You cant go wrong with Zuckersuss in the yogurt department.  The decor is fancy and the white piano is pretty darn cool!  Especially when you get the owner or anyone else who is musically talented to come in and put on a show while you relax enjoying your creation.  The choice of white, although simple and elegant sees to be the only questionable choice.  The couches are a leather material and tend to get dirty quick.  As long as the employees clean and keep clean then everything is great.  It's only when drips of yogurt and toppings go everywhere that the white facade get's torn up a bit.

Keep doing what you're doing and we'll all come running back.

The guy who was working was really informative and explained that their yogurts are all natural, sweetened with honey and I didn't know that places like Yogurt Land uses artificial sweetners.

They only had two favors available at the time Greek Yogurt and Acai. Wish they offered a better selection but he explained why they only have two. They have assorted fruits and cereals to add texture. Price was resonable. Location is nice, clean inside, really cute set up.

What really sold me was the customer service, and how the guy really knew his stuff, plus student discount. AWESOME!!!!

Really great, natural yogurt.  I usually get a stomach ache from dairy but I felt fine after eating this.  Thought there would be more flavors to choose from but there were an assortment of toppings and great fresh fruit so that made up for it.  I took my 10 yr old niece there and she thought it was pretty cool, I think she liked the decor, with all the pink and white she wanted to hang out there awhile.
great customer service from the guy working there that day.
cool music playing....if you do stay awhile hanging out with kids ( :

When you drive by or walk by this place, you cannot help but stare at how pink and white it looks inside.  Not only that, the lights are white so everything looks even more white.

I'm a bit concerned about coming here at night because there are some rambunctious people out and about.  I haven't witnessed anything sketchy happen but I've heard things, and I sense things.  The city totally revamped downtown Hayward so I appreciate the efforts but you cannot take the ghetto out of the people.

With their limited yogurt flavors (to two) but numerous toppings, my combo turned out pretty darn well.  It was kind of like a breakfast yogurt parfait:

    1. Acai yogurt
    2. Granola
    3. Mochi
    4. Shredded coconut

I almost always opt for the regular tart flavor but like my friend had described, this one tasted like sour cream.

If you're here on a low-key weeknight where you're the only customer, you may find the teenage boys (aka the employees) singing to whatever tune is on the speakers.  In my case, it was Aretha.  Then one of the boys busted out Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" on the baby grand.

As pathetic as it sounds, that kind of brightened up my day.

This is my all time favorite place to get frozen yogurt! It's tart, but tastes like it's naturally sweetened with honey or something. Some frozen yogurt tastes fake and like it's loaded with artificial flavors. This, in my opinion, is the most natural frozen yogurt out there.

Inside is a little too pink for me, but it's a fun place to hang out for 15 minutes, especially when there's someone playing the white grand piano.

If you haven't tried it out yet, I would definitely recommend going in at least to taste a free sample of the yogurt.

This is an all-natural frozen yogurt place.  When my wife and I came here yesterday, there weren't that many customers.  Usually, I'm used to places with a lot of flavors, but they only had two:  natural and acai berry.  We looked a little lost, so the cashier took some time to explain to us how everything worked.  He gave us a sample of both flavors, and showed us all the toppings.  He also told us that Zuckersuss is a green business, with all the favors natural and the materials were bio-degradable.  The bowls were made of sugar cane, the spoons from potatoes, and the napkins from recycled paper.

The acai did have a hint of blueberry, and the plain was really tart.  The cashier told us that the yogurt was Greek, which is more tart than regular frozen yogurt.  I settled for some plain yogurt, layered with Reese's pieces, Capt'n Crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.  My wife got mix of the acai and plain yogurt with pineapple, strawberry, litchi, blackberry and cookie-dough.

We both enjoyed our yogurts, though my seemed to be thicker than I'm used to.  The sweet cereals and candy balanced well with the tartness of the yogurt.

While we did enjoy our desserts, I don't think we will go out of the way to come here.  But we will come by after seeing a movie or getting dinner in the neighborhood.

It's sad to see this economy take down yet another thirsty business in this tiny stretch of Hayward. Than again, I think it's a really lame business to have in the "Up and coming Downtown Hayward", they only had two flavors, which were pretty good.. I stand corrected by myself, the tart was decent! I never get tart, even at a really good frozen yogurt place like YogurtLand, however the acai flavor was really great. This place is unfortunately a sad excuse for a dessert venue for frozen yogurt. I come to Buffalo Bill's across the street quite often to drown myself in their Hayward Hefeweizen, and the past few times I've been here along with my girlfriend, they've been closed. Any day now, they'll fall victim. Should have really seen this coming since the "Sugar Shack Deli" across the street also closed, and they had more flavors than Zuckeruss. Tissue?

I came here yesterday for their Birthday Celebration. They were giving out free yogurt! The staff is very nice and the decor of the place is very modern. Great ambiance.

I, personally love getting their tart original yogurt topped with a bunch of fruits. Their fruits are pretty fresh, so this place does the job for ME.

If you are the type who wants a variety of yogurt flavors, this is NOT the spot for you because they only carry two types of yogurt.

Simple. Not in a bad way. That's the best way to describe the place. I actually have a friend that works here now, but I haven't gotten down there since before that even happened. My ex and I used to come here quite often because she worked down the street and I love me some froyo.

They have nifty little discounts a lot, and if you friend them on FB you can hear about ways to save money on your froyo... including a "left handed hi-five" and stuff on certain days.

Perfect place to bring a date after dinner, or just to grab some froyo and walk around. It's in a decent area. You won't get knifed.

You gotta love what this place is doing. They provide people will a simple two flavors of yogurt, tart being the main flavor, and some other random one. You get to choose whatever toppings you like and however much you like. The stuff is fresh and the best part of it all, its really cheap.

If you are a student or have a movie ticket, show it to the guy at the counter and they will take 10% off right there. The inside is a little too trendy for me (all pink and white) but they have a piano which anybody can play. Good to inspire people to be creative and share their music with others. Oh, and you get a discount on your yogurt if you can do so.

Friendly staff all the time, even though they look like they are doing nothing.
The tart yogurt from here is my favorite out of all the yogurt places that keep popping up everywhere.

Ok, only two flavors of froyo?  I can set up a lemonade stand type deal and find a couch no one wants to compete with this place.  What kind of froyo establishment has two flavors only and one of them was not even a flavor,.  It was allegedly tart but it tasted a lil too close to sour cream.

Acai flavor?  In hayward?  Just break out the chocolate and strawberry.  Get real.  Even the toppings do not compete as far as diversity with other froyo places.

The one plus is comfort.  Other froyo places have more flavors but tiny plastic kindergarten chairs in which to seat my duff.  This place has comfy couches.

Pretty cheap too but I can't get over the lack of selections here.

Nothing like yoghurt on hot summer day.

This place have a lot fewer options than every other yoghurt place that I have been to. Only 2 yoghurt options, one was regular and the other was acai. Not a big deal to me since quality is more important than quantity and both flavors were good. Topping were limited but good too.

Staff was friendly. Trendy decor including a white piano!! Price is ~20% higher than the average yoghurt place.

The real yogurt (not what you get at most froyo places!) is quite tasty, though only one or two flavors (depending on if the açai is working that day).  You make up for this with the wide array of fresh wholesome toppings (real and varied fruit, great hot fudge, and the silly cereals)

The ambience is fun, the location's great (downtown needs more places like this to make the theater block really pop!) and the yogurt's quite good.  4 stars because it is pretty pricey for a self-serve dessert.

Zuckersuss caught my eye as we drove by, with its pink and brown decor.  I couldn't tell if it was a purse shop or what, but it seemed foodish.  Looked 'er up with yelp mobile and found out it was fro-yo.  Done.

I'm a fan of the tart stuff, and I liked the idea of paying by weight so you can pile on what you like and just put in a smidge of stuff you only want to taste.  Good selection of toppings.

The yo itself was kinda grainy, but not terrible.  I really wanted the place to have dimmer lighting and more of a loungey feel.  I also really wanted someone to play the bright white baby grand piano, but that didn't happen either.

I'm surprised at how satisfied I was with my experience.

Yes, they only have two yogurt flavors - original and acai. Toppings make it yummy though! All the usual suspects: strawberries, nuts, chocolate chips, etc.

It's cheap and they give student discounts! It's near a few restaurants, the movie theatre, park, etc.

Decor is cute and place is kinda small. If it's nice outside, you can even sit on the many benches spread throughout downtown Hayward.

Fro-yo girl here.  The wait is over for fro-yo fans in Hayward.  Zuckersuss opened today and they were handing out coupons for one free cup of fro-yo.  The coupons didn't have an expiration date.  I'm not sure how long the promotion will last.  There was also a banner outside saying 40% off.

I was so surprised to hear the price (it's self serve) that I had to confirm what I heard: 59 cents an ounce.  That's twice as much at Yogurtland and frankly doesn't make sense for Hayward.  I was also surprised that they only had one flavor, original tart.  There were two machines (with no signs about what the flavors were) but only one flavor.  Isn't the point of self-serve to offer variety so you can customize to your heart's content?

The good news is that their original tart is very good.  It's creamy, milky and tangy with a soft, thick texture and a clean, sweet aftertaste.  The toppings area was fairly standard with fresh looking fruit (e.g., fresh mandarin orange segments, blackberries, bananas, blueberries, strawberries), mochi, cereal, chocolate chips, brownie bites, honey, hot fudge sauce, nuts, etc.  The fruit is cut into large pieces.  Paying 59 cents an ounce for the same Fruity Pebbles you can get at most other self-serve places just doesn't sit well.  Maybe you should bring your own toppings.  For 59 cents an ounce, I'm expecting something special.  Update:  I'm told it's actually 49 cents an ounce.

The shade of pink they've chosen seriously reminds me of Pepto Bismol.  The décor is modern with the wavy white walls that are fairly common at fro-yo shops and white sofas.  They have a white piano too.  I don't play the piano but even if I did, I can't imagine playing it while at a fro-yo shop?  No one touched the piano during my visit.

Zuckersuss means sugar sweet.  But they serve tart fro-yo.  Huh?  Do they really want people to associate their tart fro-yo shop with sugar?  Four stars for now but three stars once they start charging 59 cents an ounce.

You know you love me.  X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

    FLAVOR:
They made it easy on me.... only ONE FLAVOR yogurt... and it's PLAIN TART.
.... and it's just the way i like it. Not too sweet and good amount of tartiness.

    TEXTURE:
so creamy.  I HATE icy ones, if i want a smoothie i'll go get a smoothie. I LOVE how this place actually have them creamy. That's what i call good quality froyo.
I mean if you haven't notice ya'll, the ones that are self serve w/ bunch of machines lined up against the walls, they're usually icy because they use cheap machines.

    FINALLY!

    so close to home.

THEY USE SPOONS MADE OUT OF POTATOES.  they look plastic but super brownie points for being environmental friendly and using biodegradable bowls and utensils

They need to have a sign in the front that say it's a fro-yo joint.  For reals, i'm a fro-yo girl and i drove pass this place all the time.  If it weren't for yelp, i'd never know of this place.  Today, i drove pass this place at least 3 times before finding it. SIGNS PLEASE

OK before reading my review i suggest you scroll down to the bottom of the page and read all 12 of the first reviews. They are obviously fake post made by the owner or owners friends. Wow all of those new yelpers all just joined in Feb of 09' and all have only one post and its for this place. I think if you want a place to have a good rating, you should do your stuff right and not try to fake out customers into coming here and getting a bad product. Do your shit right and you will deserve a good rating.

I think Clarisse c. and Jeffery L. got it pretty much down about this place. Baby vomit LOL. I really wanted to like this place because it was close to home and it looked pretty nice from the outside. Don't get me wrong but they have a great location, right across from Buffalo Bill's and right next to the new theater.

But once you walk in here its a different story. I came here with about 5 of my friends, yea we looked like we didn't know anything about froyo yea we looked out of place. But we all tried the best, Pinkberry down south and Red Mango in Palo Alto. So we know our froyo very well. And this was some pretty bad froyo, it really tasted like sour lemon flavor yogurt. Usually all the self service froyo spots i go to have many different flavors to choose from but this place had only one, their nasty sour wannabe tart flavor.

When we walked in the owner was pretty rude, he was kind of shocked that a group of guys would come in and try his yogurt. He spoke to us as we were lost or something, trying to explain how things work. He was pretty much a smart-ass, if he keeps this up this place will be out of business pretty soon. And for the people he had in the shop already I know they were just family or friends because none of them were eating froyo, just sitting there.

Decor here is really weird, I think they are looking out for everyone with the walls painted the color of pepto bismol. So when you get home and you feel sick remember to take some pepto bismol.

YAY, I'm the first 3-star review! Just to throw it in there, yeah, it does seem unusual how there are a lot of 5-star reviews with mysterious no review, no profile, no pic, no friend people. But hey, I'm here for the yogurt.

Since my time at the great frozen yogurt spot "Fraiche" in Palo Alto, I've had cravings for froyo and mochi. With Zuckersuss being the newest, and one of few, frozen yogurt places in Hayward I decided to give it a shot. The nice logo was good enough to get me through the doors.

The interior of Zuckersuss reminds me of Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake, and Princess Toadstool. The walls are pink and the furniture is white. Just how they intend to keep everything looking clean is beyond me. The side wall to the left is exactly, not like, but exactly the same side wall as the one at Fraiche! Coincidence? I hope so.

I don't think the interiors are as classy as Bijou or Fraiche, but it has it's charm. I can't imagine any of the Hayward hoodies coming down here to hang. Teeny boppers and minivan moms -- yes. They even have a piano for people to play. It's fine and dandy for them, but man it's annoying hearing the same three Disney songs being played horribly over and over again! It makes me dread the new Disney movie coming out.

I walked to the froyo self serve area yet no employee was there. The co-owner came out and offered me a sample. Now I felt inclined to buy a bowl, so why not?

To my surprise they only have one plain tart flavor. Strange to have an entire store dedicated to one flavor. Their toppings must be insanely good right? Not really. They're pretty typical toppings, many of which are average quality. I topped my froyo with granola, blackberries, kiwi, and mochi.

My cup came out to $4.03. Kinda steep when comparing it to others. I never like self serve froyo because I feel like I can never get the right balance of toppings and yogurt as well as a good visual presentation. The froyo is alright. The mochi wasn't as good as Fraiche's handmade mochi. The fruit was average, but the granola was fresh and crunchy.

As I ate my froyo, it just felt really odd. There isn't any private area or any interesting things to look at. They have newspapers laying around, but listening to the high schooler play the piano was too annoying. I wonder if they have free wifi? That'd be a plus.

    ___

I wouldn't go out of my way for Zuckersuss. It's a great idea to have it right next to the new Century theater. But if they don't diversify their menu and upgrade their toppings I feel like I don't have a good reason to come here; especially with the Victoria Secret-lite interior.

The question is: "Would I rather go to Coldstone?"
    The answer is: "Yes."

Don't judge me, but I went to Swiss Delices right afterward to pick up some pastries. lol

100% yogurt froyo. I love their tart because it's real yogurt. People who complain that it is 'too sour' or 'too tart' should just stick to eating ice cream.

I love the fact that they have 2 flavors. I was fine with them only having 1 flavor. Places with 5+ flavors drive me crazy because most of the time, they are not very good in flavor or consistency. Again, complainers should stick to ice cream.

Potato spoons and sugarcane bowls. Fresh toppings!

I love froyo! I'm glad a place opened in Hayward.

I saw some reviews that said their froyo was tart.… Read more »

Finally a Fro-yo spot comes to the ghetto.

First off A+ for decor. The place certainly looks like it doesn't belong in Hayward. It's like the kid from the ghetto who makes it big in the real world and decides to come back to visit his homeys. He's there but he looks way outta place.

Another A+ for the "greenliness". With the world falling deeper and deeper in the shithole that we put it in, it's nice to have a place trying to make a slight difference. The cups are made from sugar canes and the spoons are made from potatoes. Totally eco-friendly. If everyone just did a little bit like them, we can make a huge change. Use http://ecoGnight.com instead of Google, buy a Sigg bottle instead of buying bottled water. DO SOMETHING!

Anyways, back to the fro-yo... Good tasting fro-yo but they only have regular tart flavor. They do have a good selection of toppings. Cereals, fruits, mochi, all the staples. It's also a weigh and pay so you can load as many toppings as you wanna pay for. It's a little pricey but I'm willing to pay to support the growth of Hayward.

Something different is that there's a grand piano for anyone to play.  I asked one of the workers, what happens if someone playing sucks?  They actually kick em off.  Awesome!  The last thing I want to hear is a kid play "Mary Had a Little Lamb" while I'm trying to enjoy some fro-yo.

-1 for only only having 1 flavor, however I'll definitely be coming back to this place.

Well, it's a nice try, but no.

I had high hopes for this place, just like i did for Bijou across the street. A new hip, trendy food place in Hayward opening up again? It must be good. Not so much.

Well, I appreciate that they're so green in that the cups are made out of sugar cane and the spoons made out of potato. If you smell the handle of the spoon, it smells like potato. That must've cut into their budget since they're gonna charge 59 cents/oz after their grand opening special apparently. Too high for a self serve place.

The toppings are the usual ones you'll find everywhere else. Nothing else to say on that.

Now, for the yogurt. They only have tart, but I guess tart means really sour to them. The first few bites are okay, but when you get into it, it has this funny taste to it. Maybe it's the potato spoons. Hopefully they fix their recipe.

Make the extra trip to Pinkberry and/or Read Mango in Santa Clara.

The interior is just so fabulous, it already got three stars with that.

People working at the register are very friendly, and generously push the student discount upon young customers ;). They don't ask to see your student ID or anything, so ask for it either way!

I loooove the granola they have to mix in - I know, it's granola... who cares. But I FREAKIN DO. It is so tasty, I want to take the bowl and pour the yogurt on top of it, instead of vice versa. Mmmmm.

The fruit mix ins are fresh, they only have original tart flavor regarding the yogurt ... but that's my favorite so it works out!

I told myself that my affair with Mr. Fro yo is only a rare thing... but I cannot tear myself away from his creamy allurement. This is definitely a new weekly thang that I got going on.

    Interesting...

Maybe I just have a refined palette for all that is good, but this yogurt is way to sour. It tastes like a baby drank spoiled milk and then vomited into my mouth. LOL jk...well, yeah.

Nice try with the decor of the place...maybe the yogurt wouldn't cost so much if there wasn't a piano in there. I'm also pretty sure they could have more topping selection or yogurt flavors. Like Jeffrey L. said, they thought going "green" on the utensils and cups would save them money, but I feel I pay for having a spoon that smells like potatoes.

I'm not hating, it's just that with places like Pinkberry and Red Mango beginning to pop up around the Bay Area, I would rather make the trek to get me some good creamy, just enough tartness goodness called fro-yo.

It was also dead quiet inside. Yeah, the piano wasn't being put to use. There was a group of people in there, but they looked like they dare not speak or else they'd get kicked out.

All in all, maybe I'll give it a chance if I hear the yogurt got better.

I'm happy to see froyo making its presence known in Hayward! We came on Grand Opening Saturday, fancy to see the owner in his tux and 40% off yogurt.  Great publicity...

Unfortunately, Zuckersuss just doesn't make the cut for me.

I like tart yogurt, but I didn't enjoy it here... it was more sour than tart.

Great toppings, cute shop but... it all comes down to the yogurt!

Blush, YoSwirl and Red Mango are still my Bay Area favorites...

Yes, that's right. This place does exist, and it's in hayward, CA! Here's some advice if you happen to live in this area and want to impress your new date. First take them to bijou across the street  http://www.yelp.com/bi..., then take them to this spot for dessert.

Very new york or LA feel, but service is actually pretty friendly. They are eco-friendly, and i'm all about that. spoons are made from potatoe, bowls are made from sugar cane. decor very cute and modern. They only have 2 flavors of yogurt and you can add fruit/cereal/etc to it. just like any other new frozen yogurt joint. If you like tart frozen yogurt, this is your spot.

Friday night dinner and a movie! Cliche I know, but still a solid date outing. Driving down B St. to park in the garage at the new Century Theater, the bright lights and funky atmosphere of Zuckersuss caught my eye. At first I wasn't sure if it was a nail salon, or a swanky new lounge. That is until I saw everyone inside hunched over bowls of fro-yo goodness.

After the movie, and Buffalo Bill's across the street it was time for some DIY dessert. Zuckersuss doesn't have multiple flavors of frozen yogurt, but they do have the usual assortment of toppings(various cereals and fruit). The yogurt is slightly sweet and slightly tart, sort of a plain natural yogurt taste. I went with granola, fresh pineapple, and a crapload of mochi(mmm texture...).

Zuckersuss tries to play itself off as a green business, what with all their natural flavor yogurt, sugarcane paper bowls and potato starch spoons. But any place that's that brightly lit has gotta be spinnin' that PG&E meter.

Bottom Line: There's a cool vibe at Zuckersuss with all their white couches, semi-green-ness, baby grand piano, and swanky lounge music. I'll definitely be making my way back here after the next Buffalo brew session.

I recently started my fro-yo phase of life.  I want fro-yo for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  It wasn't until Greydon U. had told me about this place did i even know of its existence.  I was pretty excited and I also found out that this was one of the places where the price depended on the weight of your frozen concoction.

At first glance the outside is not attractive and i mean that in a "it doesn't draw you in".  In fact, if i were driving down B Street I might not have even noticed it.  However, it's the inside that really gets your attention.  White is the theme.  Yes, basically everything is white, including the sofas, chairs, floor, and grand piano.  They used pink to complement the white on the walls.  It was clean and very sheik looking inside.  I liked it!

But i wasn't there for the decor, i was there for the fro-yo.  First of all, there is only one flavor of yogurt and its plain.  I like plain, no complaints there.  Moving on to the toppings.  There were about a bunch of toppings from fruits to candy and even mochi.  They also had sauces for your yogurt too.  I chose my favorite combo of strawberries, chocolate chips and granola! yum!  It wasn't until then that i realized that all their utensils and cups were compostable.  Alright!!  Go GREEN!!  So I weight it, I pay it, then i sit down and get ready for a party in my mouth.

So this is a personal preference but I like my fro-yo tart.  Not just tart but TART!  I like the creamy component to be low.  Good examples of this are So Green or Tutti Melon.  Here, the creamy component is high, and its not as tart as i'd prefer it to be.  That in itself made my first experience just an okay one.  I ate the whole thing but there was something that didn't taste right about it.  It was good, don't get me wrong, but it just didn't hit the spot for me.  It was just OK.

I've been back since that first time and again, it just didn't hit the spot.  I have to say that i was a little disappointed.  I like everything else about this place but their yogurt.  Sigh...

I love their yogurt! Tart but made the right amount of sweet with toppings well chosen. I adore the fruit and granola on mine with a couple of those cookie dough pieces mixed in. ^__^

Their employees (especially the blond guy that's always there) treat this place as a labor of love. I see him working hard cleaning up after all of us after we get our yummy full cups. Literally after every single customer serves them self he goes and cleans up so that the next person that walks in the doors is greeted by a pristine toppings bar. I've even see people pick stuff up off of the floor after accidentally spilling because they don't want to mess the space up, it's that clean!

    Love my student discount too.

The only complaint is I wish they'd play the piano while they sit there ;]
