By the suggestion of the server I got the $12.99 Friday buffet. I am not a big buffet person and the area was a bit cramped. The fresh salad ingredients were average but good. The salad dressings seemed to be homemade and were tasty. The hot portion of the buffet was a hit and miss. The chicken was extremely dry. But the broiled walleye was amazing. Cooked and seasoned just right. I ate a lot and you cannot beat the price of the buffet. I would go back just for the walleye!

Fantastic place with an old school supper club vibe. Best steak in Iron River! My wife had the lasagna, and it was outstanding. Delicious homemade bread and salad bar was great. Nice beer selection, just wish they had more local/Michigan brewed beers. Very friendly service. Will definitely be back!

Chad's uncle + family has a cabin in Iron River, and we come up for a weekend visit at least once a year. It's well known that Zippidy's is the dinner establishment of choice in this town - loved by locals and foreigners (like me) alike!
The place has a large menu with a variety of tasty goodness; think onion rings and mushroom cap appetizers, 6 types of featured spuds (potato alfredo is AMAZING), speciality salads, steak, seafood, and Italian entrees!
They have Friday night seafood buffets for $12.99 which includes assorted seafoods, chicken pasta, meat entree, potato, and access to the soup and salad bar.
On Monday-Thursday and Saturday nights 4:30-6:00pm, there's a $10.95 early bird special, often featuring walleye, ribs, or lasagna; and the full entree always comes with a soup or salad, vegetable dish, a potato side and ice-cream dessert.
They also have a "Duda's Deli" section featuring $4.25 steakburgers. Yum.
And "1919" Draft Root Beer - $2.50 for a regular mug, or $3 for the Large Frosted Mug. Go for the latter!
Zippidy's is delicious and affordable. Check it out!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - R C.Delhi charter Township, MI0351Aug 15, 2018
It's okay for the area, but otherwise it's wildly overpriced, even for a supper club. The salad bar was full of wilted iceberg lettuce, vegetable crudités, and some other unappetizing toppings. (The chicken dumpling soup at the salad bar was enjoyable, though.) I had the gnocchi with meatballs, and while the meatballs (and sauce) were great, the gnocchi itself was dense and tough.

Very supper club'ish. If you know what I mean. If you don't watch "The great outdoors" with John Candy. I gave it four stars because it is what it is. If you compare it to large city food it isn't worth 2 but because it is the best place with in 40 miles....

I met Chef Chad Duda a few weeks back and made arrangements with him for a special dinner for 6 which we all THOROUGHLY enjoyed last Thursday. The menu was inspired, interesting and delicious. We started with Moroccan BBQ Shrimp over Crispy Polenta. The polenta consistency was light and almost fluffy inside with a crisp crust and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. The currants added a sweetness to the spicy peppers in the sauce. A salad of Granny Smith apples with Dubliner cheese & chives in a vinaigrette of lime juice & olive oil was a perfect crisp followup. The main course of Hanger Steak was served with oven roasted creamy fingerling potatoes dressed in chermoula and a julienned mix of vegetables. I have never had better hanger steak or any steak! Everyone's order was cooked exactly to their specifications. The steak was seasoned and grilled to perfection. Banana Cobbler, made with roasted bananas, dulce de leche, vanilla wafers and served with vanilla ice cream topped our evening off. There were no leftovers! WE ARE THRILLED TO HAVE CHEF CHAD HOME AGAIN!

Excellent friendly service. Super club atmosphere. The appetizers were good- potato skins and cheese curds. The breaded mushrooms were too big and a little soggy. The root beer on tap was excellent. The shiksa bobs (chicken and steak) were excellent tasting, very nicely seasoned. The warmed bread was a nice touch. The family enjoyed their steaks. The price was very reasonable with a discount from Americinn Inn. Would go back.

Great food. Best steak in my opinion for the area. Much prefer their salad bar compared to other restaurants in the area. Very family friendly.

Had smothered chicken....was rather bland. Wife had a cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce. We both thought it tasted like cheese pierogies with breakfast type biscuit gravy. Nice place and service was good. Good salad bar. Might try again owing to this but would definitely go with another line of entree.
