The coolest thing about Zion National Park is the free shuttle system. The shuttle system was established to eliminate traffic and parking problems, protect vegetation, and restore tranquility to Zion Canyon. There are tons of great hikes for all skill levels. The Virgin River runs through the center of the park and some of the hikes require wading and in some cases swimming through the river. If you have the time, check out the back country or take a tranquil bike ride through the park.
