I have never gone to Zender's for a haircut. I hear they are good. They seem to do the typical blond highlights thing that walks around Iowa City a lot. If that's your look then go for it.
Don't, however, go for a massage. They can't really work your back out.
Love all the girls that work there, and truly enjoy the service. Audrey is the best for manis and pedis, and I am also a huge fans of their facials. The massages are the best I've had in Iowa City, but they are not the place for deep tissue work. I like the haircuts I've had there, although I would agree their styling tends to be a bit one-note/trendy.
