I know they closed this location but it is the only location I have been too. What a shame to be replaced by some french chain bakery. They had the best salads and dumplings ever! mmmmmm

Their teas are very well made, I got the dragon. Or I think it has the mint and green tea, the cold one. They also would sell candles, teas, incense yummy stuff

While I really really dislike bubble tea (boba, whatever) in general, Zen Zoo almost  made me change my mind, which is saying a lot.  Try any of their original boba conconctions, named after zodiac animals for a pleasant, potable treat.  This Brentwood location is full of yoga moms and their teens in matching Juicy suits, but sitting for a while in the little outdoor patio area really does give you enough zen to feel up for whatever LA might throw at you next.  Watch people jog down the center strip of San Vicente and bask in the LA sunshine (without the downtown smog).  Tea, clean air, and an odd sense of comfort make Zen Zoo a great place to come for a respite from daily life.
