On a Sunday last weekend, I had decided my back up plan would be to get Zaw(a natural, organic, special ingredients take and bake place) when I stepped into the Zaw shop to get a menu and the owner was there with his daughter and was very nice to me.

In the middle of the Emmy's, I picked up my tv dinner pizza called Veg Head. It was marinated zucchini, marinated red onions and peppers, seasoned mushrooms, small diced eggplant, two light cheeses, and requested whole wheat crust. The sauce ended up being a little spicy and the crust baked up real thin and crisp. The pizza was definitely deeply flavored and wholesome. I had Zaw for lunch today because their smallest size that feeds 1-2 really feeds about 8 small slices :) So last night was me, Zaw, and the Emmy's (which ended up being really funny- neal patrick harris hosted). It was a nice calm weekend ender.

FYI's~
* They offer bicycle delivery
* You can order from Zaw on the Internet
* They offer WA wines & beers + Jones Soda
* A medium, in a combination developed by them, is about $13-14
* They have a Thai themed pizza, a meat themed pizza, a apricot chicken themed pizza, a seasonal themed pizza (figs anyone?) and many tempting combinations

I like this place... they are original in their pizza designs.

That being said - I have made gluten-free/vegan pizza on my own and it has been 5 times better than this place. Their dough (gluten-free) is seriously like crispy cardboard. I could eat 2 of these pizzas by myself and still not be satisfied. I'm a big eater! Come ON!

I like this place because its convenient, but is it worth the price? No.

If you're a foodie like me, and like the joy to your taste-buds that food can brings, then this isn't the place to go. Homemade is way better. If their dough was right... they would get 5 stars from me. BUT it isn't good enough.

OK eats people... just OK.

Just picked up my Zaw Savory Savary piz 'za and it's in the oven...........stay tuned.

I will say this, as it's cooking. I really like that they sell wine and beer in store, I can respect that they do bike delivery, (even if I didn't use it), and the way the pizza looked before putting it in the oven? What? It looked like real food! (that's in opposition to other take and bake 'za's that look more industrial in nature.

Mmmm mmmm, I can't wait to chomp on down! Maybe I'll take a bite of the undone masterpiece....mmm, raw meat and pizza dough!

Ok, I'm back and the verdict is in........dee-licious! I had to amend  the cooking instructions on the package (and on the website), as the pizza was done in only 7 minutes, vs. the 10-12 the instructions called for. Luckily, I have the nose of a German Sheppard and 'sniffed it out.'

A couple things I didn't add in the pre-eating part of the review: we opted for the olive oil base instead of the tomato base, and chose the whole wheat crust option. I must commend my sweetie for the whole wheat choice and must commend my sense of judgment for the olive oil--b/c the pizza, with the fresh, "real," organic ingredients, combined with a couple of 'tweaks' was mmmmm mmmmm!

"zaw-artisan pizza in the raw"

Well, yeeeeehaw!!!!!

I don't want raspberries on my pizza. I also don't want to cook it. And I don't want to pay 30 bucks. Once again over rated.
I live right across from one, it smells good, but I really didn't like it. I do like the bike delivery idea. Quite a few of my friends really like the pizza here.

I've never been there, but my friend picked up a pizza for me...their pizza is awesome. Organic - check. Wheat dough (or even non-gluten dough)  - check. Good pizza - check. What's good besides the yummy taste is that their pizza comes with parchment paper, so that you don't have to worry about cleaning your oven. I've only tasted two kinds and haven't been to the actual store, but I feel that this restaurant deserves 5 stars. Why not??

I've had Zaw twice this week.  I can't help myself.

Bicycle delivery, less packaging to throw away... and as tasty as Pag's with even better texture.

Only 4 starts simply on price, which isn't really bad if you go for a bundle.

I really want to like this place.  I really really do.

I love the idea of local/organic ingredients.  I love pizza and they deliver wine!  Further more, I can't do wheat and they have gluten free crusts.

Perhaps the wheat pizzas are tasty, I will never know.  I just ordered my second gluten free pie from this place, both with different toppings and both were really bland and boring.  The crust is too sweet and doesn't have enough flavor to counter act the not-so-zesty sauce.

I disagree with what people are saying about the pizza being too expensive,  I think they're pretty reasonable.  I don't think any of their pies are more than $20.  The wine costs a little bit more than you'd pay at the store, but not much more than a couple bucks.

It's all been said.  Here's what I have to add:

1. 'Zaw is perfect if you have a grown-up babysitter who appreciates good food.  You can pick it up ahead of time, the sitter can cook it easily at dinnertime, voila.  If you have a non-foodie babysitter, just leave behind a Pizza Hut gift card; Zaw's not worth the price for someone who just wants some pepperoni.

2. The onions on the Tailgate? So good I would punch you in the face to get some.  And I'm not a violent person AND I don't even like onions.

Although I regularly state that I'm not a huge fan if pizza.. I seem to be reviewing pizzerias left and right.

Zaw makes some good pizza! Sometimes I'm not in the mood to plan ahead, pre-heat my oven and walk to their location just to come home and wait longer to eat.. BUT, sometimes I am. If you're a fan of sloppy, greasy, red sauce pizzas, Zaw is NOT for you.

A friend's apartment is equidistant from Zaw on Pine and Piecoras on Pike. Some days we're in the mood for greasy, typical pizza.. and other days we're in the mood for something lighter. In fact, if you eat a Zaw pizza you almost feel great about yourself because their pizzas taste as healthy as a salad.

The ingredients are all fresh and local and their pizzas are unique and tasty. I had one with dried apricots on it.. it was tasty! They also offer salads, desserts, sides, and even suggestions for beer, soda and wine that pair well with each handmade pizza.

The service is fast, the food is extra fresh and the people are friendly.

These pizzas make great food for parties. Just remember to pre-heat your oven when you place the order. Then your wait time at home is only about 12 minutes before you can enjoy their tasty creations.

I don't understand how anyone can like crunchy pizza (even cooking it for the lower recommended time yielded crunchy crust). It was like eating toppings on a box lid, and it was WAY too expensive for being a take (or get delivered) and bake it yourself place. (I'd understand if part of the money paid for gas, but they don't even have that excuse.)

I'll stick with Palermo's.

I must admit I was skeptical about this place. Then I was given a gift card here and it changed everything. High quality, generous portions what more can you ask for? Plus sustainable, local food.

Who cares if you have to bake it for 15 minutes? $33 for a gourmet salad, pizza and wine. what a deal!

Plus they have whole wheat crusts for those of us who don't want to slip too far from our diets. :-)

In short: Awesome.  I'll be ordering again.

In detail: Like everyone else, I have to confess that I was a bit taken back by the prices when I first saw them, and then I remembered how much it costs to get delivery pizza and unlike pre-cooked delivery pizza, this isn't lukewarm and dripping grease all over the place.

We ordered a Tailgate Feast pizza and used a coupon for a free dessert on a Saturday night.  Ordering on-line was going well until we had to pay and there was no way to defer payment until the store and show them the coupon, so we ended up calling to order instead.  The on-line system works really well, though, so I'll be using it in the future.  They told us it would take about 20 minutes and were right on the money.  My boyfriend went to go pick it up and returned with a freshly shrink-wrapped raw pizza.

I was a bit surprised at how thin it was, but it didn't bake dry or crumbly, merely crispy.  The various cured meats were thick and flavorful and while I often feel like I should be able to do these sorts of things myself, there was no way I was going to invest the time to beer-soak my own onions, so I didn't even feel guilty not making my own pizza.  It was totally worth getting take-out.  It served two very hungry people without trouble.  The dessert was a bit small for the $5 they usually charge, but for free I was happy to have it.  It was a lovely melting mess of chocolate, caramel, crust, coconut, and a few other things that they recommended we put in the oven as we ate the pizza and let it warm up while the oven cooled.   They didn't appear to have other options on the menu for dessert, but if they're only going to have one it's a good choice.

We both agreed we'd be ordering from them again and giving their salads and other offerings a try next time.  I'm salivating just thinking about it.

For you GF pizza seekers this place is great.

For pizza seekers that do not know the agony of GF food seeking this place is decent.

The manager/owner (?) was super-cool and very helpful and when he saw that we were picking up a GF pizza he was upfront and told us that the entire kitchen was not GF but that their pizzas are clean... I damned near cried tears of joy for my GF wife.  Then he proceeded to open the door for us on the way out... just a super nice guy.

The pizza itself was a lot better than I expected, a lot better than a lot of "regular" pizzas i've had.

I'm not really into "sprouts and greens" on my pizza, I'm really more of a peperoni, sausage, mushrooms, etc kind of a guy...

So, naturally, I got the "Chicago-Style"... which, honestly, has little to do with my hometown as far as pizza preferences go.  But I found the ingredients to be fresh and tasty anyway.

All and all I would totally endorse this place for GF seekers...

I will... I MUST, however, reserve my regular pizza judgment for another visit.

I will reevaluate and update this review based on that experience.

My boyfriend and I ordered the Cranny Goat salad ($8) and the The Marg & Rita pizza ($16) with prosciutto and a whole wheat crust which left us with two pieces of pie for a late night snack.  The salad was very fresh, the goat cheese creamy and balanced out the cranberries well, and the salad dressing was really good though I wish there had been more of it.  The pizza was really good.  When baking be sure to get the edges of the paper on your rack or use a big sheet pan.  My boyfriend put the pizza in the oven and later I heard *splash* *sizzle* to find it had folded down, dropping some of the toppings.  Easy issue to fix.  The pizza cooked up evenly and really yummy.  We both felt satisfied and like we had eaten a healthy meal, not like we had just had a heavy meal of bread and cheesy grease!

We will order from this place again, especially  when we have gluten sensitive company!

Zaw is right by my house, so initially my boyfriend and I settled on it out of convenience. Well, convenience and the fact that spending $20 for dinner and leftovers is perfectly acceptable, but somehow $30 for a Pagliacci pizza seems particularly extravagant. Anyway, I am a Zaw fan. I like the thin crusts, I like the nontraditional toppings, and I love baking it at home. Not only does my house smell amazing afterwards, but it's way less greasy and heavy than traditional pizzeria pizza.

And seriously, baking your own pizza is too much work? I thought -I- was the laziest cook around, but even I can manage preheating to 425 and sticking the thing in for 10 minutes. Not that I'm disparaging folks who don't want to cook, I'm just saying that if baking at home is the price of fresh, tasty pizza, I'm all for it.

What you got here is boys and girls is arts fartsy take and bake pizza
nothing to fancy,  nothing to cheap, Artisan pizza in the raw they say

I live a block away and I have looked in the windows a few times and read there menu just about as much guess they want to bring some culture to the hill as they are pairing local wines and beers with pizza, nothing wrong with that except I don't drink. they do have Jones soda in the bottle also

so I got  The Chicago Deli $19
All-natural Hempler's thick-cut bacon, fresh sliced prosciutto, salami, and pepperoncini enhanced by provolone and
mozzarella make this one a classic ode to Wrigleyville.

a damn tasty pizza but it was missing something not sure what, it was kinda salty from the prosciutto so a little Italian seasoning to off set that, I don't know

the crust is super thin I got the whole wheat, they have classic crust also,
Now I can put away some food when really hungry and we were not like overly hungry that night but we could of probably eaten another one

Granted the meats on this pizza are not all that cheap they were kinda slim pickings tho to my pizza standards and the crust is way to thin

for my $20 I would of rather gotten a couple frozen pizzas  at least i would of been full

Zaw isn't as cheap as other pizza places in town. However, those places also aren't using organic/local ingredients. They have gluten-free & vegetarian options. The menu pairs each pizza with a recommended wine or beer choice, and they carry local Jones Soda. You can order online and custom choose ingredients, and they deliver by bicycle... including the bottle of wine.

Although they have "normal" toppings, they also have a fair amount that's creative/unusual. They have 6 kinds of interesting salad. I chose the cranberries & goat cheese & pine nuts & wine vinagrette and it was great.

I try to eat healthy and low calorie foods whenever I can... but some days I still crave a pizza dripping with cheese and deliciousness. Zaw's a great way to indulge while supporting local businesses and a healthier environment. It's not rock bottom prices ($16-18 for a pizza) but it's still cheaper than buying a bunch of organic ingredients and handmaking a pizza yourself, and considerably faster.

Zaw as in Wowzaw or maybe huzzaw! or yowzaw. Well, whatever it's some seriously good stuff.

I prefer fresh hot pizza but there are times when a take and bake is a quick alternative. I have a Pappa Murphys' near my house and I don't exaggerate when I say that every single time I have ever tried to order from there, there's been some kind of problem. The worst was the time that the manager had suddenlyquit for mysterious reasons and the kid behind the counter was backed up by at least 12 orders. Plus the stuff when it gets home is usually a little better than frozen pizza.

But I digress. Zaw is a take and bake rockstar.  They use really fresh ingredients(with the arugula pizza they hand you a bag of fresh argula to sprinkle on after the pizza is cooked). And they havesome very interesting combinations like a chicken and apricot or the Chicago Deli with pounds of Bacon Proscuitto and Salami. It's a little pricey but I'm willing ot pay for the quality and the fast service. You can even order online and the pizza is ready within 15 minutes. They also have wine which is a huge extra bonus!

okay, I'm a pizza purist.  fruit and brie should never appear on any pizza, anywhere.  I live upstairs from this new pizza joint and my condo is right this very minute having a party with free donated Zaw pizza (and we thank you for the free stuff).  however, I was super disappointed when I found out that a restaurant was opening but they would not be cooking the food for me.  I'm sorry, but the entire reason for ordering pizza is because it's easy and you don't have to heat up your house to cook dinner!

I do like the idea of natural, local ingredients, but why couldn't they make traditional pizza only with quality stuff?  kinda like the pizza you'd get from Whole Foods.  it's still pizza, just organic, etc.

so with that in mind, I'm back upstairs in my condo waiting for Palermo to deliver my dinner because I'm sorry, but that tiny slice of crispy bread with an apple, cheese, and a walnut on it did not do the trick.

We live right between the two Zaws, so we regularly order from both the Pine St and Yale St locations, and this review is for both.

First I love the online ordering, the variety, and the fact that they deliver on bicycle most of the time. Yes, it's take and bake, but you'd never know it from the quality. They've taken the concept to the next level, and add quick delivery (not much longer than it takes to preheat your oven), and you've got one pretty darn good pizza. PLUS, they deliver beer - they are the only place in Seattle I know of that offers that service. Moreover, the menu suggests beer/pizza pairings.

The crust is "very" thin, which I like, and the toppings are unusual, and good. Even though it costs almost as much as eating pizza out, there's something satisfying about cooking it in your own oven, and the parchment paper they include makes sure it is cooked to perfection. Besides, I don't know where you can get something quite like this.

i recommend the whole wheat crust, and the Marg and Rita is one of my favorites.

I have been looking forward to this place opening ever since their creative marketing popped up in their window displays on 15th a few months ago. Curious as to what exactly Zaw stood for, I was excited to see the lit sign appear exclaiming "pizza in the raw." And I was even more ecstatic to hear that they were offering customized pizzas even for those with food allergies.

I finally got my chance to try their glutten free crust tonight, and alas all my woes of non-bread eating have been cured! The crust is delicious! Plus all the pizzas are made in under 20 minutes, and can be picked up or delivered to your door by a bike messenger (how fun is that)! Simply pop the pizza in your stove for 15 minutes, and a fresh made unique pizza is ready for you to eat.

The restaurant has online or call in ordering, and a wide array of wine and beer that pairs with each of their pizzas (and is at a very reasonable price). I think this might be my new local food obsession...yummy gourmet pizza, that makes you feel like you did it all on your own at home...so great!

We get vey excited about Halloween. We gathered a group of ladies for a night of pumpkin ale, candy corn and carving. It was decided that a pizza would be the perfect addition. Attracted to their all natural, compostable bent we decided to give Zaw a try. The roasted vegetable pizza won the vote.

Our first arrived by bike messenger. Here's where the problem arose (read on...), our "zaw" had shifted in flight. What was once assuredly the most perfect take and bake pizza known to man was now snuggled up to one side of the box. Tragedy! So we called them in hopes of a rectification.

The moral of the story: Lovely people that they are, zaw's manager personally delivered a replacement pizza #2, a bottle of wine & hand written note of apology included! Above and beyond service and delicious to boot!! Eat it!

This new take and bake pizza place on 15th has a beautiful interior bare concrete some interesting tile work and raw wood shelving , I especially like the vertical corner space completely planted with herbs. Too bad you can't eat in.

They have a great looking website and apparently from what other people were saying the web order is easy to use. It doesn't show up in my phones web browser but all things take time. They also offer bike delivery so far so good.

The concept is organic/sustainable locally sourced ingredients. Great idea lots of interesting pizza choices and tasty looking salads. They also sell beer and wine including  1/2 gallon refillable jugs of Fishtail Ale and Manny's. The people working there are very nice taking time to explain the concept and handing out bites of lemon bars while waiting for them to finish making my pizza. Unfortunately, being their 2nd night they had run out of arugula for the Arugula Patch. C'est La vie  I had some in my fridge so could add it myself and save some money.

We got a  1/2 prosciutto  1/2 cheese, the pizza seemed a bit small for 15 dollars but all those  local sustainable  ingredients don't come cheap.  So the big question is it worth it for pizza you need to cook itself. The answer is an undeniable not really. (I wrote the first part while waiting for the my food to cook. The pizza is not greasy which is nice. The crust is crispy and perfectly cooked (oh wait I did that). The sauce is a little bit "pizza saucy".  The prosciutto  1/2 was tastier than the cheese  1/2 the credit there though I believe goes to tasty pig parts.

For the same price you can pick up a pizza from Via Tribunale and get something much much yummier! If you need delivery I would probably get this before Pagliacci simply because it isn't going to leave me feeling so greasy.

I tried Zaw twice this week, both times the pizza arrived quickly and tasted delicious. Some people have mentioned price but I could only see that being a problem for large groups, Zaw does not seem all that differently priced than any other pizza shop, ignoring the take-and-bake.

Trying to find problems you might find that it has a small selection or that you want a thicker crust, but I've been looking for a pizza that is less greasy and more crispy for awhile and I'm happy with this place.

The pizza (and paired wine) we got from Zaw the other night was delicious.  We got quick, personal attention when walking in to order / pick-up our pizza and it was simple and quick to cook (14 minutes).  We had a hard time choosing a pizza from all of the deliciousness on the menu, but ended up with Savory Savary and a bottle of Reisling.  It was delicious!

We're a fan of the gourmet take-and-bake idea and love the wine pairing piece as well.  We were told that one of their goals is to provide pizza, salad and wine for 2 people for $40 or less.  If we look at it in this way and not a super cheap takeout option, we can live with it, though $18 for a smallish pizza that only feeds 2 of us for dinner is a bit on the pricier side.  We do love the fresh, local ingredients angle and the thinner crust.  We'll definitely be back!

Note: delivery service is only within 1 mile from Zaw. :)

New Pizza chain that has opened a location on Yale Ave, cornering on Republican.

Their niche is around gourmet, organic ingredients on their pizzas that you bake at home.
I've tried the following:
"Marg & Rita" - really good simple pizza with cherry tomatoes and lots of garlic
"Roasted Veg Head" - way too healthy pizza, eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms and red peppers. nice, even for a meat man like me.
"Tailgate Feast" - my fav so far.   beer drenched red onions, bacon and pepperoni.

Their salads are pretty nice too.

And to top it off, they sell local wine and beer for cheap-ass prices, same as the chain grocery store prices.   Not restaurant or local-store mark-up.

And since they are new...... they are giving out half-price coupons for any excuse (they didn't have the correct salad dressing, so I got a different one and half off.  I don't use salad dressing anyway).

The are three blocks away from a Mad Pizza, who give you the standard pizza fare. Although Mad Pizza will serve up a slice, Zaw are who pizzas only.

Still delicious, still a little pricey, still going there when we're short on time.
I prefer the plain dough over the wheat. I gave it a shot, but the regular dough is just way more tasty. And, not the fault of 'Zaw (but part of the experience), we burned the edges of the crust last time.
I'd like to suggest they acquire 2-3 parking spots in the lot across the street for pickups. I was driving home, and although we live within walking distance, I didn't have time to drive home, drop off the car and groceries, change shoes, and walk back. So I stopped in the lot since there was no available street parking on the block. The Diamond parking guy was apparently hypervigilant and was taking down my license number within 1 minute, 15 seconds of entering the store. I ran out, and begged and pleaded I'mjustgettingmypizzaandthey'realittlebitbehindple asedon'twritemeaticketpleaseplease.
Apparently "pizza" was the magic word because he didn't write the ticket, but it would be nice to not have to sweat it.

I have celiac disease and finding pizza is nearly impossible.  I was so excited at the prospect of eating gluten free pizza and watching football that I went online at 10 am to order the Savory Savary and the Chicago Deli pizzas.  It doesn't let you pick the time to pick it up (although I'm sure you could add it to the order notes), so the computer said the order would be ready at 10:15 am even though they don't open until 1 pm.  When I went to pick up the pizza the people there were very nice and explained how to best prepare the zaw.
If you're looking for Chicago style, this isn't it, but it might satisfy some of those seeking out new york-ish pizza.  If you're looking for good food, this is the place. The ingredients were fresh and tasty.  I loved the caramelized red onions.  If you are gluten free, I highly recommend it!

He did indeed show up at my place, with not only a bottle of wine, but a coupon for a half-price pizza.  I'll be using it soon.

Hi Yelp.  Long time reader, first time reviewer.

Zaw opened down the street from me today.  I stopped in on my walk home, got a delicious pizza, salad, and half gallon of beer.

Taste is on par with Via Tribunali, which (if you don't know) means delicious.  Zaw is take-out, bake at home.   Take -n- bake, but a far cry from poppa murphy's.  While you don't get the ambiance and table service, unlike Tribunali, Zaw has a strong emphasis on local and organic ingredients.

It's really delicious, and coming out of your oven, it tastes just like fresh pizza from a wood burning oven.  The prices are a little on the high side...comparable to Madison market a block up Pine.  Tonight's bill included a deposit on a reusable jug for the beer...very nice.

If you shop at Madison market, you should definitely check it out.  Even if you don't, it's still probably well worth your time.  They're very friendly and they have a really cool vertical herb garden.

I'll be back.

Tried 'zaw last night and must say I was impressed!  I was a little skeptical of a smallish $18 pizza that I had to bake myself but the quality was definitely there.  The standard pizzas feed two hungry people and come with a wide range of mostly organic (some local) ingredients.  I got the 4 cheese and the thing looked and smelled beautiful after 10 minutes in my oven  (Everything here is take-and-bake).  Not greasy at all, and the freshness of the ingredients really came through.  Even tried the wine they were recommending as a pairing and it was quite nice (also localish) for  another $10.

Fast, delicious, super friendly delivery guy. We ordered the Perfect Pear salad (yum yum) and the Formaggio the IVth for about the same cost as anywhere else. Sure, I gotta bake it myself but at least I know it hasn't been sitting around getting cold!

Had the Big Fat Greek Pizza. Beautiful ingredients and a perfect crust. And they delivered beer. Damn good pizza.

I love the thin crust and the wide variety of toppings. I'm a huge fan of sweet and savory combinations, so the options of fruit on the pizzas made me very happy.

We came to the grand preview event for folks who live in the condos upstairs. The owners were super friendly and took the time to talk to everyone and OMG the pizza was like nothing I've ever had before, and I don't really like pizza that much. I mean I like it, but in my mind it's related to lame school events and working long stupid dot com hours in 2000. Anyways, I decided to get a pizza while we watched one of the presidential debates. It seems like they either had some kinks to work out, or everyone decided to eat Zaw that night because I had to come back three times to get the pizza because it wasn't ready the first two. Hopefully they've worked out their timing issues because the pizza is so worth it. The veggie one has gigantic thick slices of organic veg and the Vietnamese one is awesome and tastes like a Vietnamese sandwich. The salads, especially that one with chevre, are also tasty and a pretty good size. On an unrelated note, I really like that they deliver by bicycle instead of by car and use local organic ingredients and reusable bottles for beer. They do a number of other green things but I can't remember what they all are.

Lives up to how it is described -- the best take and bake pizza you can buy. Love the super thin crust and the new Ballard location!

I was skeptical of this place when I saw what it was. Great another crappy pizza joint, BLAH! Thinking this I was not too excited when the bf told me he got a pizza from here. I asked what kind and he said Chicago. Now that perked my interest. I was surprised that they had true deep dish Chicago style pizza. But my excitement was quickly put out when he said that was just the name of the pizza and it wasn't deep dish. You see I LOVE deep dish Chicago pizza. I'd marry it if I could! I love it that much. So back to my thoughts of blah another crappy pizza place. When I got home from work I looked at the pizza and thought well it don't look that bad. I mean for christ's sake it had BACON on it! So we popped it in the oven for a few mins and first bite I was trying to stuff the whole piece in my mouth! Now if this were a true Chicago style pizza deep dish and I couldn't see myself trying any of their other pizzas because I like to keep my pizza simple and not so complicated (which most Seattle places can't seem to understand, KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!) I could easily bump it up a star but it's not so three stars.

i think for a basic pizza 16 bones is kinda alot.... i'm from the midwest though.. anyways. our total bill was $27 and change. 40 minns later i was full but not too full and very buzzed. may i suggest the $9 blanc de blanc sparkling wine. one bottle  knocked me on my ass and buzzed up my 200 lb boyfriend. i would say at less you have a fat wallet zaw is good for special occasions but not for every saturday night..
