I second the first review of this place! totally awesome novelty and book store that had just about every cool thing you could imagine. I was almost jealous that we don't have a place like this in Tampa. Somehow they managed to fit it all under one roof, which was also amazing, seeing as how they also had a tea bar in the back! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I haven't seen everything this world has to offer; but I love to travel and find unique little niches along the way. Please take what I'm about to say as build up, and not as me being pretentious. I have traveled the world, and much of the United States... including many visits to Manhattan. Yet this store remains my favorite. I recommend coming here when you have some time on your hands so you can leisurely inspect and appreciate all the baubles, novelties, and conversation pieces this shop has to offer. It's like Nostalgia with a modern twist, and any purchase is sure to improve your mood. I will admit that I am sad they no longer run the old fashion soda fountain in the back as they once had made the most amazing milkshakes and "home-made" Coca-Cola... or Cherry Cokes for special days :) But they do have beautiful jewelry, fountain pens, soaps, books, toys... robots! You should visit this shop when searching for a unique gift (for ANYONE- friends, children, old men...), if you want to escape the mundane and make a day special, or to just flat out feed your curiosity.Please don't ever, ever close Zandbroz... I want to be able to bring my future children and grandchildren here.
