Now we have passed this a million times when we play Disc Golf at Pine Grove or now the new one at the Avenue at White Marsh we figured it was time to try it.
I tried the Corn Dog and the Reuben Dog (topped with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and their own 1,000 Island dressing). The Corn Dog was really good but the Reuben dog was... gross. I like a good Reuben Sandwich but this was bad. The corned beef was tough and the dressing was bitter tasting.
My Husband tried the Chili Dog and a Dog with ketchup, mustard and onions. He didn't like either of them and didn't finish either of them.
We also tried the Mac and Cheese, Hot Dogs and Beans, and Sweet Potato Fries. The Mac and Cheese was gritty and very bland. We both had to unpleasantly dispose of our mouth full of Hotdogs and Beans into a napkin. The fries were ok and maybe would have been better if they hadn't gotten soggy from condensation on the car ride home (they put them in a plastic container with no openings). The fries got finished for the most part but the other 2 sides were not touched after the first bit.
A good hot dog is always satisfying but I am sorry to say that this place is a strike out and we won't be giving it another chance.
I love a good hotdog and I thought this place was good. the southern style one is my fave! nothing beats a chili dog with coleslaw for me. we stopped by the one at white marsh whenever we went to see a movie. i like this joint!
Overrated and too many options - stick to the classic hot dog, and get it from somewhere less over-priced.
