One of Zachary's Restaurant's Favorite Reviews What's This?
God! It's been WAY too long since I've had me some Zachary's. I remember back in those college days dragging my hung-over butt for some damn good grubbin' here and some even better recollecting of the night before. I try to block out the line.
I've raved/ whined about it many-a-Sunday morning whist in bed trying to decide where to brunch.
-The bf: What do you want to eat?
-Me: I don't know. Wait! I know...ZACHARY's!
-The bf: But we're not in Santa Cruz; we're in the city.
-Me: Wahhhh!!!
So when me and the boy came out to SC for the day he knew we were coming here.
The Jr. Tofu Mess did not disappoint, per usual. Huge. Sour cream. Tomato. Greasy potatoes and tofu. And MESSY. All the right elements to make a Kristine happy. And don't forget about that SWEET MOLASSES TOAST! Smack me in the mouth--it's that good! Where do they get that bread? They must have gotten the recipe from the Satan himself. Carb heaven (or hell)!
Thank you, Zachary's for affirming that it just wasn't the hang-overs that loved your mess. Just as good sober/ coherent. To all my fellow slug alumni, be jealous...and for those still there, eat it one for all the homies passed.
Sidenote: They have CHEAP mimosas! CHEAP!
Tip: Sleep in and come past 1:45pm and avoid the line!

It's been a long time since I've seen my family ... maybe since Mother's Day. So when the opportunity came to celebrate both my mom's birthday AND my niece's birthday, I jumped at the chance to take a long weekend.
This place is very busy, and by the lines, that is a good thing. You walk in and if you don't notice the sign, you will stand there for an eternity. To get a table, and put your name on the list, you walk to the back of the restaurant and write your name down. There's coffee available, and a lot of stores nearby to pass the time.
Me, my mom and niece settled down for a busy Saturday morning. I had the Hot Italian Scramble, with a side of "hot" sauce, which is a buck or so extra. I found myself reaching for Tabasco as the hot sauce wasn't nearly hot enough. But it was still very good. My niece had the Micky Mouse Pancakes with grapes cut to look like eyes, kiwi's cut to look like eyebrows, and a mound of whipped cream to resemble his ears. She ate every bite. I don't recall what my mom had, but she liked it.
The breads and coffee cakes are baked in house, and were very good. But I wish I got to try the coffee cake, but settled on Oatmeal Molasses bread. All the breads you can buy by the loaf.
Pacific Avenue is known for it's sketchiness, but it's not as bad as some parts of San Francisco. Parking is hard, but shouldn't be a problem. Prices are also good too for the amount of food you get. Worth a stop when in town!
Still can't replace Nini's as my favorite breakfast place.

Let me start by saying that I gave this place minus one star because they placed the wrong omelet on my gf's side and I poured about 1/4 bottle of Tabasco on it before she noticed it was hers. Needless to say she was in a hissy fit much worse than the 5yo sitting across us.
When we got there the wait wasn't that bad, I'd say about 10 minutes. We served ourselves coffee while we waited.
This was the first time being here so we were unsure of what to get. The waitress came over and asked if we were ready. I had noticed she had been running around before while I was looking at my menu. I overheard that they gave a table the wrong order and they were apologizing for it. So when she got to our table she was in a hurry to get our order and keep on the fast pace that the restaurant has.
The french toast was the only thing that really stood out as delicious. The rest was 'regular' as my gf said. We could have gotten a better/cheaper bite elsewhere. I would come back but probably not with her.

Tastiest sourdough pancakes I've ever had.
Long long line on weekends, empty weekdays.
While strolling down Pacific Ave. in Santa Cruz in search of coffee...we were enticed by the smells of breakfast. The aromas seemed to emanate from a little place a few doors in front of us. One look at the crowds and we paused....I asked someone standing there if the food matched the obvious following and both agreed it was well worth the wait. We threw our name in and decided to "browse," anticipating a very long wait. Not so!! Within 10 minutes we were seated despite the huge crowds still milling outside. The food....was WELL worth the wait. I had the corned beef hash with poached eggs, potatoes, and the most awesome maple toast!! Friend had a make your own omelett which, despite the weird combo...was absolutely fab!!! I'm making sure I schedule my business late enough in the day so I can go get my grub on early!!!
Minus: parking meters always running...till very late! 8pm...and they DO TICKET.
Good breakfast here.
I just had the basic brkfst, two eggs sunnyside up, home fries, bacon.
THE $5.95 Breakfast deal: Two eggs(your way) were cooked fine, the home fries were browned the way I like them, not too wet, not too dry, seasoned just right. Bacon was of the thicker variety, meaty and satisfying. Comes with home made bread =)
Coffee was decent.
Customer service: friendly and slow.
Decor: meh
Parking: meh.

The description of this place says it's good for kids. The English language is far too reductive to allow me to disagree with the fervency I desire. A child does not have the stomach capacity to adequately enjoy a Mike's Mess. In fact, the only reason I would bring anyone under the age of 20 to Zachary's is to mock and berate them for their poor gullet logistics.
I, on the other hand, thanks to my current lifestyle of eating a lot and not exercising, had plenty of room to enjoy my Mess and pancakes. I had to share both with my girlfriend, which was quite acceptable since she introduced me to it in the first place, though I think she may have taken more than 50% of the Mess.
OK, so here's the bottom line. I don't like Breakfast food and I don't give out five star ratings like some kind of floozy, but Zachary's has earned all of them. The Mike's Mess is a resplendent combination of eggs, bacon, cheese, homefries, tomatoes, chives and the face of God himself. That's right, you are eating the face off the almighty. Separately these ingredients might be all right, but when they combine like Voltron (or Power Rangers for anyone born after 1982), they become more powerful than the human mind can comprehend. The homefries appear to be seasoned with either curry, coriander or some other yellow compound that makes them magnificent.
I enjoyed this brunch so much I wanted to go to the bathroom and throw it all up just so I could taste it again. Then I would calmly sit down and order another round. Repeat this process until closing time. Thank you Zachary's, for you have elevated my consciousness. Level 2!

A great place to drop in and have a bite.
The food doesn't look spectacular so dont expect your meal to be very visually pleasing. It really hits home in taste. The homefries are good. Pancakes are a must to try. Never had a bad experience here.
The only complaint is that the wait can be kinda long in the heat of the brunch rush hour, so get there early or wait it out. But still worth going.
Coffee is *meh* so bring your own, but the pancakes OH MY. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and was expecting 2, maybe 3 pancakes stacked on top of each other. Imagine my surprise when my plate comes out and it's COVERED in pancakes. You definitely get your money's worth and they're GOOD too. I want more, more, MORE!! *breaks into Moulin Rouge song*
The End.
OVERRATED *clap clap clap-clap-clap* OVERRATED. I will admit I have only eaten at Zachary's once (tho I've walked in numerous times and not wanted to wait), but after hearing so much hype I was pretty disappointed. People in Santa Cruz will swear Zachary's is the best breakfast in the bay area, claim if God cooked breakfast this is where he gets his ideas, and look at you like you an alien if you tell them you've never eaten there.
My biggest gripe with Zachary's is the long wait it always has, particularly on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The food isn't nearly as good as expected. I would say slightly above average quality with ridiculously large portions. The service wasn't particularly good either. Not impressed. If you're in Santa Cruz and are willing to wait for breakfast cafe brazil is miles above this place. If not head down to Hoffman's or Walnut Ave.
We went for breakfast on a Sunday and the place was noisy and packed with people. We waited for 20 minutes. I don't get the big attraction and high reviews here. I think it must have something to do with the large portions at relatively low prices. That was the one redeeming quality, but that's all. The food was mediocre and our waitress was crabby and impatient. A beggar came in and up to our table while we were eating to ask for money, he seemed welcomed in the place. I'll try another place for breakfast in Santa Cruz next time.
I am a big fan of breakfast restaurants and was not disappointed here. The space is large and open and I loved the old softwood floors (look like just old wood planks).
We ate on a relatively quiet morning (Thurs) and had no problem getting a seat. I should note to newbies that if you get there and it is crowded, walk to the back left of the restaurant for the waiting area/sign-in sheet. The waitress should mention it to you, but if its busy, a few groups might sneak in ahead of you while you stand at the front waiting to be seated.
The first time I have breakfast at a restaurant, I order pancakes. The pancakes here were sourdough, something I had not had before. They were thin and delicate, just how I like them. Furthermore, they weren't the monster 12" platter sized pancakes you tend to see everywhere (why do we Americans think that the best way to impress someone with something is to make it bigger?). They were good sized and by the time I had finished all three, I didn't feel grossly full (what's the point of those large pancakes if you can't finish them?). I ordered the combo which included eggs and sausage or bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the sausage patty I had was tasty (though a bit on the greasy side, but I get that its sausage).
Our son had the Mickey Mouse pancake plate and in an effort to make it somewhat healthy, they dressed it up with sliced bananas for the mouth, a half strawberry for the nose, and sliced kiwi for the eyes. They added two balls of whipped cream where the ears were. Needless to say, he thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is a place that I look forward to coming back to on our next visit to Santa Cruz. Great breakfast food, good service, and great prices.
Besides encountering general small town run-ins when living in Santa Cruz for longer-than-you'd-like months, the table space here does not help divert awkward liaisons when you're seated six inches next to the head of the graduate program you're in.
The guy behind you sitting with his infant daughter tore up your project idea at the graduate research symposium and you're with your gay lover drinking hot tea trying to eliminate the smell of making out and spicy pheromones in your breath. He has no idea what's going on.
You glance and smile and kind of ignore the fact that you can hear every intimate detail of the conversation by the head of your department who is also a professor in a class that you despise. Fortunately for you, she finishes breakfast five minutes after you sit down and is gone.
The breakfast here is worthy of people nearly being stacked one on top of another as it feels like a quintessential small town diner. I have good memories of the other 35 minutes I talked over my flavorful tofu scramble and wedged potaters.

Really good, but I had REALLY high expectations. The pesto scramble was pretty good, but needed salt. The bread products are the way to go. The oatmeal molasses bread was tops, as was the dark rye. The portions are large. I wouldn't say the waitress was particularly nice. She looked at me like a was a demanding schmuck because I asked her what kind of fruit was in the fresh fruit. (I happen to be allergic to strawberries). It was packed, and we were there at prime time and I think we were seated in about 20 minutes. Pretty sweet.

Been going here since I was a kid. It's my favorite place on Earth to eat, and my first stop whenever I go visit the fam in Santa Cruz.
I usually get some combination of the following:
- Basic breakfast with scrambled eggs (always rich, buttery and perfectly scrambled), home fries and oatmeal molasses toast
- French Toast
- Sourdough Pancakes
- Artichoke Frittata
- Coffee
- Orange Juice
- Scone (huge soft, warm, cream cheese scone)
I'm not usually a big potato fan... but I LOVE their home fries. They're grilled with onions and are somehow made yellow (I forget which spice they use to get them that way).
The coffee is very good AND they make all their breads (Oatmeal Molasses [wheat], Sourdough, Rye) from scratch, which they use for their toast, sandwiches and French toast.
On top of the DELICIOUS food, they've got a great down home feel/atmosphere, with old worn wood floors and wall panels, plants and vines, and lots of natural light from the front doors and skylights.
If you don't live in Santa Cruz, you MUST go here on your next visit... if you DO live in Santa Cruz, what the hell are you waiting for?!
If the amount of people here on any given weekend is a hint...
We walked in and found a monsterous wait, but were lucky enough to snag two stools at the counter. Score.
I had an Italian Scramble and it was INCREDIBLE. All the food was wonderful, the pancakes were delicious and everyone who was waiting on us was efficient and really, really nice. I think Im starting to see a pattern in Santa Cruz...
I somehow managed to avoid Zachary's the entire five years I lived in Santa Cruz. With it's popularity, I have no idea how that happened. Actually I do. It's name is Cafe Brasil, and I love it.
I ordered the pancakes with bacon and two sunnyside up eggs. The pancakes were good, but the overall plate of food was pretty standard greasy diner fare. My husband's frittata wasn't very inspiring either, though the homefries and molasses toast were excellent. The coffee was very burnt tasting, which I thought was disappointing.
Overall, I felt sort of justified in missing out in the Zachary's hype during my college and post-college years. It wasn't bad, and if I wanted diner food, I could see hitting it up, but I just like other breakfast joints in Santa Cruz a whole lot more.

I was about to give this restaurant 4 stars because of their iffy service but I ultimately decided on 5 stars because their food is really good. Something I really really recommend is the Zach's Bennie.
I'm really glad they did away with those stupid cardboard straws and got normal ones that don't disintegrate in liquid.
I also like the atmosphere here on Saturday and Sunday mornings because I'm not the only one hungover.
By the way, it is good to note that I drive all the way from Willow Glen (San Jose) just to go to this place for brunch. It's worth it!

Boys, newsflash: I am a very CHEAP DATE.
I am not a Marina girl, sipping on bottomless mimosas at Circa.
I am not a FiDi girl, slinging my Louis Vuitton at Perbacco.
Nor am I Pacific Heights girl, throwing up in the bathroom at Fresca.
I do not care if I am seen shoveling in food while farting in public. The paparazzi can snap me nude for all I care as long as I can scarf down a 6 oz. rare boneless rib-eye, all while maintaining a womanly demeanor and winking at the cute server. Channeling my inner T-Rex is no joke, and as far as I'm concerned, the NY Times can write a full page spread on how I consumed a strawberry shortcake laced with whipped cream, sweet, red berry juice trickling down my chin, and a raisin cream scone to die for in my mouth. As a note, I want Frank Bruni to write it.
EPIC.
Skip the too greasy corned beef hash, imbibe in the orange juice delivered exclusively by Odwalla.
And to take home with you, a satisfying in-house made loaf of cinnamon molasses toast and a cotton Zachary's t-shirt.
Blasphemy.
(Pssssh, Lent was never on my agenda anyways).

Why this place doesn't have 5 stars is a mystery to me. C'mon! What's wrong with you people?
But Brendon C's got it right. I think Zach's is my and the Mrs. favorite place on earth to eat. If there's a heaven and it doesn't have Zachary's, I ain't goin'. (Not that I expect to be invited anyway. I digress...).
I lived in Santa Cruz for 10 years and probably went to Zachary's 100 times (maybe more) and it never (NEVER!) failed to please. I never had a bad experience or meal, and that includes the times I had to wait an hour or more with the pan-handlers and borderline psychos on the sidewalk out front. (This was back in the good ol' days before Rudy Guiliani cleaned up the streets of Santa Cruz. I digress...) Besides, you get free coffee while you wait.
The service is lightning fast as well as charming, friendly and down-to-earth (which is saying something for Santa Cruz, right?). The food is simply the best breakfast food I've ever had. The Mike's Mess and the artichoke frittata are my favorites. Brendon would probably agree that the potatoes are worth the trip alone. Zachary's potatoes are in a realm by themselves, they are the gold standard, if you will. All other potatoes are measured against theirs. (I think the spice is cumin, but I'm not sure.)
And did I mention it's cheap? That's right: your life-changing breakfast will set you back, oh, maybe $10.
And it doesn't average 5 stars?
My fellow Yelpers: I hold this truth to be self-evident that not all breakfast places are created equal, but that some are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable qualities that make them superior to others, qualities that include potatoes, frittatas and Mike's Messes.
If you find yourself in Santa Cruz and you haven't had breakfast, cast off the bonds of hunger and go to Zachary's. It will change your life.
Jimmy has spoken.

AT LAST THE HOLY GRAIL! (of rice pudding!) I've been looking forever for rice pudding baked the way my mom made it. I've ordered rice pudding whenever I've seen it on a menu anywhere, for decades, and it's always the same: a runny rice soup, or a tapioca-like jello pudding. Where was the golden brown top, the fluffy but firm middle, the baked-in raisins? THEN I was walking past Zachary's and I saw "rice pudding" on the blackboard outside, and I was enticed. I was hopeful, but skeptical... and then it arrived. The clouds opened, a beam of light seemed to appear through the nearby window as angels sang. This was it! The end of the rainbow. It looked the same, tasted the same AND (bless you Zachary) it only cost like 99 cents! Are you kidding me? Heaven for less than a dollar?
Our lunch of a perfectly comfort-food Grilled Cheese (cheddar on sourdough) with yummy old fashioned potato salad was good too. I suggested that everyone's grandmas should file a class action law suit for "homemade recipe" copyright infringement, because Zachary's is that spot-on, it can't be legal to be so good.

This is and will forever be my most favoritest breakfast joint in Santa Cruz.
They put just a wee bit of curry in their homefries, that are alllll full of yummy, caramelized onions, and oh boy, Mike's mess. Mmmmmm. Half a mess still yields nummy leftovers. ^_^
Also, I have to say part of why I dig this place has to do with this one time when four of us all ordered rye toast and the waiter said, "Four ryes? That's odd," and then we got a new waitress. Never had it happen again, and the service has always been really great, regardless, but I do kinda relish the fact that we may have somehow freaked out that waiter with our rye toast lovin'.

Two words: Sourdough pancakes.
Talking about anything else would do these cakes an injustice. Suffice it to say, though, if you're ever in Santa Cruz during breakfast/brunch/lunch hours and you consider yourself as resembling anything like a foodie... you owe it to yourself to go to Zachary's. Of course, the pancakes come highly recommended - but don't be afraid to choose your own favorite breakfast items from the menu.
Hell, you might even cry a little when you polish off that last bit of food.

Let me start by saying this is the first 5 star review I have given on Yelp. Zachary's is damn close to the best brunch I have ever had. First of all expect a wait BUT you can drink the complementary coffee outside and chat with friends while waiting. The place is fairly large so the line moves fast. One thing we noticed was that once food arrives at a table, no matter how large the group of people, everyone went silent. I guess its hard to talk when you are shoveling great food in your mouth.
First of all, like most good brunch spots you can order a mimosa to get your Sunday started off "happy" but Zachary's ups the ante by offering one liter mimosas and full bottles of champagne, both for only $14 each not bad. We ordered a bottle of champagne and then started browsing the food menu.
Great selection of brunch favorites and innovative dishes. After seeing it pop up in many of the reviews here I opted for the "Mike's Mess". When it arrived at my table it literally looked like well, a mess. Huge portion of eggs, home fries, bacon, onions, peppers and cheese all scrambled together with sour cream on top. It took a good 40 minutes to finish the massive plate but it was so delicious it was hard to stop.
My girlfriend went with the sourdough pancakes & chicken apple sausage. I am not a pancake fan but she swore they were the best she has ever had. Bonus points for offering chicken apple sausage too.
Without a doubt coming here many many more times.

Yay! I'm a fan.
If you can look past the other patron's dirty dreads and women with unshaven legs and armpit's, then you too will enjoy Zachary's.
The wait wasn't long considering how busy the restaurant was on a Saturday morning at 10 AM.
The sourdough pancakes are unreal! They are thin, porous, and buttery. The eggs. bacon, and coffee won't disappoint either.
Two tries, two bad experiences. The service was fine both times, but the food just wasn't great -- overcooked pancakes, over-sauced food. Also, the temperature inside the restaurant was way too warm the last time we visited, but it was an unusually warm day for Santa Cruz. Very little natural ventilation.
First of all, I went here in May 2008 and am finally writing a review now. LOL. Really liked the upscale nature of the interior. I think it's probably the best breakfast place for large crowds that you will find in that downtown area.
I came here with a huge group of people, probably like 15 or so for breakfast/brunch. Definitely a good wait involved for a large party like that. Forgot what I ate, but something breakfast-y... Anyhow it's good, you can't go wrong. I think we had a little slip with our server so I'm only giving 4/5.
Yelp comes through again! Headed down to SC yesterday, a must day at the beach, perfect weather and wanted a breakfast place.
Searched here, and thanks! We were all very happy with our great meals.
What everyone posted is true. Great home cooking, large portions and great quality. The corned beef hash, scrambles, and basic breakfasts were delicious. Their home fries are unique in a good way. Soft potatoes and onions with a tumeric glow about them. I could have eaten a plate of just those!
Lots of UCSC students and families alike.
We left VERY happy. :D

I took a look at the bad reviews, and saw that some of the recent ones (2009) were justified. I can see how the seating system could get complicated when there's a crowd and yes, the inside temperature is too warm on a hot day. But I've eaten there about 5 times and loved the food each and every time. Both breakfast and lunch menus are delicious and it's a ton of food for not too much money...a totally great value for good quality food. I highly recommend this place. Order the ahi tuna sandwich, burgers are delicious, and breakfast is just awesome with their daily specials of coffee cake flavors and who can beat a 95 cent homemade rice pudding?

Great breakfast place. Gets the five stars for the self serve coffee by the front door for everyone waiting for a table.
Why don't all breakfast places do that????
We went on MLK holiday and it was very crowded, a lot of places downtown looked to be closed.
But the service was good and fast. We ordered two omlettes, both were big and delicious.
Best part were the hash brown potatoes ro home fries. they were great. Kids had pancakes shaped as Mickey Mouse and they loved it.
Service was quick and attentive. Will definitely be back every time we are in SC.

An amazing restaurant! Service, atmosphere and food all deserves 5 stars. I've got food allergies and am picky by nature, and this place is fantastic. Being from out of town, we will definitely visit Zachary's every time we are back in Santa Cruz!!!
Zoomed into downtown
Arrived before the end of bfast
Chilled in the left corner (aka waiting area)
Had the pancake breakfast ($7.95), poppyseed coffee cake, and oatmeal-molasses toast
And split this with another friend
Room for more food?
Yay!! Heck yeah!
Swooshed over to Swirl
This is without a doubt the perfect location for loads of home fries filled with cheese and chili and onion and avocado and all kinds of goodness!
The first time I came here I was with a set of grandparents and an uncle. Evidently generations of people from my family have been eating breakfast here.
This place is worth the sometimes wait.
Coupon Date!
S found a coupon in the Santa Cruz "Good Times" - $3.99 for a 1/3 lb. hamburger.
DEAL!
Zachary's is definitely a Santa Cruz mainstay establishment. Good solid comfort food served here - for breakfast and lunch. The burgers we had were cooked to order. You could tell that they were freshly grilled and hot as they arrived at our table.
Service as attentive, but we had to flag our server down a couple of times to refill our water glasses as I could tell that it was at the end of the day and the servers were focused cleaning things up and getting ready to close the place down.
Come for breakfast and lunch - and make sure you look for that coupon!

I eat breakfast out- quite often. Zachary's is one of my favorite places. There is nothing quite like Zachary's! This is the place for everyone! I moseyed up to the singles seating at the bar and ordered a stack of Sourdough Pancakes, the waitress questioned if I wanted a "full stack" or a "short stack"? I quickly responded with, " a full stack"!
When it has been a month since you have had your Sourdough Pancake fix-
Nothing less would do - In 10 short minutes I devoured the whole plate of cakes. not a touch of syrup- just a little butter!
Zach's is the best place to go in Santa Cruz for breakfast/brunch/lunch. it's only open until 2:30pm so you gotta make sure you get in there and order before then. after moving away, i will randomly crave it and when i go back to SC and visit, i make sure to stop by for brunch!
What to order: Mike's Mess!!! or if you feel like you aren't too hungry, get the Jr. Mike's Mess. and for sure oatmeal molasses toast. the first time i went there, they asked me what kind of toast i wanted and every one of my friends stepped in and told me to get oatmeal molasses and i was thinking that sounded weird but it's the best toast ever! i've tried several other things there that were good too but i still stick with mike's mess as my usual.
side note: the paper to put your name down on is in the back so don't stop at the front door and wait, just walk to the back until you see the little waiting corner.
Zachary's has been one of my favorite places to get brunch in Santa Cruz for the past couple years. I've never had to wait very long to get a table, although sometimes service is slow when it's packed, but at least they usually have a table for you to sit at! Once you've ordered, the food usually comes out really fast.
My favorite things at Zachary's are-- Their ice tea: it has a really interesting taste and is definitely unique, with a cinnamon undertone and some other spices I can't even begin to identify. The first time I had it I definitely thought "what is this?" but now I dream about it when I'm thirsty. Their cheeseburgers! Seriously, the best place to get a blue cheese burger in all of Santa Cruz. Great seasoned bun, fresh veggies, great meat/cheese, and you can have homefries, fruit, or potato salad depending on what the weather's like. Their eggs benedict: unlike any other I've had. It's really rich and comes on an herb roll with crumbled bacon. Not the usual dijon-y hollandaise, but a cream based sauce.
I've had countless other things on the menu and I've loved them all! The staff is very friendly and helpful, too.
My three egg-white omelet was huge! I thought a two egg-white omelet would be tiny, so I ordered three eggs, and it was more than I can handle.
The potatoes that came with it were interesting.. cooked with strips of onion and what looked/tasted like turmeric, but then again I don't know my spices very well.
Apparently the bread is homemade.. tastes a little funky, not like the bread I'm used to, but it's decent bread.
The bathroom looks gross, but actually smells really good. I don't know how they do that.

My handsome Texan took me here for Sunday breakfast. We cruised down the highway in our white cadillac and strolled in. I was very overdressed. I was wearing a fancy white cardigan and white skirt and my long black coat and everyone else was in jeans. I ordered the Mike's mess with country gravy and was amazed. My god it was delicious with their coffee cake and potatoes. I'm having a foodgasm. It's reasonably priced, fast efficient service and casual ambience. Wear jeans people!
Note to families with kids, beware of the hooka shop across the street with the sex position posters.
