Check it, I never need to go to FEDEX or UPS or USPS ever again...its a brand new day.
One of the things I have learned about living in NYC is that there are many great things about it!!! Your Neighborhood Office, is most definitely one of them. This might sound crazy, and it sort of is, but this place has legit, the nicest and most helpful employees within a10 block radius of thier store.
Pros: This place is a one stop shop for everying relating to shipping, mailing, faxing, copying, sending, receiving....both mail and tons of great help from the employees!
Cons: Not sure there are any. I might have paid a little bit more here than I would have at other places but it was worth every penny.
More Pros: They were nice, they didnt rush me, they gave me good advice, they helped me with my errand, shipped my package VIA USPS (hHence, I will never have to wait in the USPS line again). They sent me an email with my tracking information, which also has capabilites to update. This might not seem like a big deal, but this place is a mom and pop shop smaller than most NYC living rooms and they treat you like you just walked into their living room and welcome you with open arms. Wow, I surprise myself with how much I like this place. Cant help it, place is great.
I dont live close to Your Neighborhood Office, but I will make the trek here everytime I need to send something or need supplies, or need to copy or fax something. -

Its a bit pricey BUT, you are paying for conveniences. When you have one of those last minute work-related emergencies: copiers and printers jammed; last minute packaging or shipping needs; or Notary Service for important documents.
In my case, I needed a notary public. Hard to find notary public in NYC! Yes, i tried EVERY where. I think its easier to find a good restaurant on Yelp than finding a notary public in Lower Manhattan! *wink*

YNO has handled my mail (and general office) services for about 7 years. I honestly don't know what I'd do without them.
As for the negative reviews that revolve around computer usage policy, perhaps you might consider using your own paper/ink/printer/computer. We all know nothing is free (or even cheap) in NYC, especially not in the ridiculously expensive West Village (read: rent).
At any rate, for those looking for private mailbox/managed mail services, YNO is the way to go. -

Expensive. They charge you a $3 the computer time when you print from a usb stick. it's like charging for using the fork when eating.

Man... This place really is wonderful. I really wouldn't mind hanging here just for fun, the folks are so pleasant. Lest you think it's a slacker surf-shop type vibe, though, it's not: Staff are helpful, patient (with my 20 phone calls / day), extremely good at what they do and fast, to boot. And they charge extremely reasonable prices for print jobs, even on card stock that's difficult to work with. (I will say that $1 / page of a fax seems expensive, though!)
I'm seriously upset I didn't find this place earlier. After all the trouble and delays we've had to deal with for other print jobs, recently, YNO is a welcome breath of fresh air.
Bravo, guys. We'll be back! -

I had to print, fax and mail a bunch of docs and I was feeling a bit disorganized, but everyone (three on staff at 1pm on a Wed!) was so helpful. Better still they were all so calm and easy going, I felt relaxed and more organized just being in there with them.
The only downside is how expensive the place is. If you just have to copy or print something, go to Staples (it'll be about 1/10 the cost--shocking, but true). But if you have anything at all complicated like shipping, etc, this little shop will take away the stress. -

I used to come here and do a lot of business. Used to be a really cool staff but today I was humiliated by who seemed to be the owner. I used the CPU for 2minutes to print out a document from my gmail account and was charged for 15minutes of computer time. I asked why and they said thats policy, so I replied, well I should have 12mins of use in the future where I was then laughed at and told that if you don't appreciate the service you shouldn't come here. I've recommended them for years but now that will stop and I will no longer return my business either. Good job, next time appreciate your long time customer. With sincere regret, Cristiano.

The guys who work here are the sweetest. They care about all your paper needs. Shipping, faxing, mail, copying. They will even have a gift wrapped for you and delivered, or buy flowers for your anniversary if you forgot and make sure its sent on time.
Chris is a great guy, they all really are, its like they get paid 100 bucks an hour or something???? -

YNO Rocks! It also Swings, does the Lindy, and a good many other steps.
I've been getting my mail and packages here for over 12 years now. Maybe it's 13 years? Can't remember. They're 15 years old now and a part of this neighborhood like no other.
They do everything, as Shaun has said in his review. I know this for a fact. From first-hand experience. You can, literally, ask them to water your plants and they will. I am not kidding. YNO is fantastic! -

I had to get my lease notarized and this placed showed up in my google search. Finally found it after getting lost in my own neighborhood. Why didn't they say it was the post office box place on Bleecker? This place is great, they were incredibly helpful. They have many other services that I will now take advantage of using.

This is a great place to have in the neighborhood. I had a present that needed to be somewhere the next day. All I had was the doll that needed to be sent. I brought it here they wrapped it in pretty paper, they had a card for me to include, they packed it, shipped it and it was received the next day. I know because they even sent me the fedex confirmation! Once I stepped into the store, everything was taken care of for me. Quick and easy, no stress at all.
Another day my laptop froze up when I was working from home. I needed to get something done asap. They rent laptops! I rented one from them for 2 days while they fixed mine and I got everything done!
They are really a one stop shop for everything -

Needed fingerprinting -- and was in and out of the store in 5 minutes. Very friendly!

Let me first state this...I have more of a life than to sit on my ass and write reviews on Yelp. That being said, what I just experienced, actually pushes me over the threshold to actually compose my first, and hopefully, only electronic review in my life. I emailed a 2 line letter, to be printed and faxed on my behalf. I was in the store for less than 3 minutes. The charge: $5.25. When asking about why I was charged for 15 minutes of computer time, and why so expensive, the supposed kind and benevolent owner retorted, "well, you pay for the machines and the people." Give me a f'ing break. The ironic thing, is that people like her have the gaul to call others in our beloved City crooks! Save your time, money, effort, and sanity, go to Staples, buy a printer/fax combo. It will be worth the extra $55 in the end.
