Best Happy Hour Ever!

This place is amazing with their $7 rolls and $2 sake bombs.  It just can't be beat.  This always a good stop to fill up and get the party started when you're out in the LBC!

Personally, I think the Thai food is a bit overpriced compared to the other Thai restaurants in Long Beach.  But, the food is pretty good... can't say its the best though.

The sushi was yum... but I've had better.  Price wise?  Its okay...

Now if you're looking for cheap beers and sake for happy hour, I highly recommend!  They encourage you to pound on the table with the sake glass on chopsticks over the beer glass, so its fun!

Couldn't hurt to try... sake sounds good right now.  Thanks for the reminder!

I never really knew why I kept coming to this place but now I think I should stop. I think this place doesn't understand the concept of moderation. My mom and I ordered thai boat noodles. Please, if you want good Thai boat noodles, do not come here. The broth was really salty and felt like they overloaded it with MSG. It was pretty disgusting. My mom had to ask for a cup of hot water to make the broth less salty. The also jipped my mom off of liver but I gave her mines. Also there were no veggies. Personally, head to Long Beach Thai Restaurant down Redondo. Their Thai boat is perfect.

My brother ordered pad see ewe beef. I took a bite and I was too sweet. Lack of moderation and vegetables.

I was skeptical about the sushi but it turns out it wasn't so bad. The rainbow roll was good, not great. But the spicy tuna had too much oil, it showed trail marks on the plate.

The service actually brought a smile to my face because they were smiley and pleasant. But the food is your authentic Thai food, if you want such, seek elsewhere.

this place rules!  looks like an old Burger King layout, but they have done a great job!  the manager Lisa, is a sweeeet pea.....welcomed us, introduced herself, and even sent over a "special appetizer" from the suhsi chef--not on the menu!  HH beers $2, and $2 sake---why go anywhere else?? Great rolls on HH too, but the steaming cauldrons around us indicated that everything else might be yummy too.  And the green papaya salad with poached shrimp-fab!

Only neg was the bright lights, but for a great 6 import beers, sake and a belly full of sushi for 50 bucks, you can't go wrong!

loooove Lisa and will definately be back next week!

Delicious food.  I eat there almost once a week.  Their pineapple fried rice is delicious.  Their soups are also very good (although they leave in things like bay leaves and lemon grass that should be pulled out before serving).  Their shrimp are cleaned and not over-cooked (which is easy to do).  Their sauces are delicious and their sushi is very good.

Their service is ok.  I can understand hiring Thai speaking employees, but they should speak English too.  I've had more than two orders screwed up by confused servers.

Their prices are a little on the high side, but it's worth it.  Enjoy!

I can't believe they combined thai food and sushi into one restaurant. My favorite dish there has got to be the mussels with the dip that comes with it. OoOoOo it is de- delish.

Holy mother of mangoes!

The 5 star rating is for their mango sticky rice!!

After coming here for lunch, one of my co-workers snagged a menu so that we could order for one of our lunch meetings. You know the kind of lunch meetings - when money is no object - yeah! So they ordered a slew of things, but I got there late and wasn't sitting next to the food, so I wasn't truly able to sample the rest of the food. But when the sticky rice came around, oh honey, i owned it. It was drenched in it's sweet sticky white sauce and it wasn't too sweet either (otherwise, I can't tolerate it). It was just perfect. Ah, memories.

Sushi fusion and Thai is such a good combo! The cherry blossom has my heart, with the most delicious mango sauce on tuna that I would drink if I could.  We always order way too much, because there are so many things on the menu that we can't resist.  Everyone I've taken here loves it, from my friends to my family.  The atmosphere is inviting, the food is good, and they even deliver!

I'm so impressed with place.  Even though it looks so mediocre from outside like some others said, but inside is well decorated in a cozy Thai style.  I came here with a group of family and friends for my brother's BD party.  We ordered lots of happy-hour rolls and some other sushi specials.  The imported beers here were only $2 during H/H ... what a good deal!
Sushi rolls were so excellent that we kept ordering more and more.  Can't believe they also served really fresh oysters.  I tried their recommended Spanish mackerel sashimi ... man! that was great.  The juicy slices of fish was nicely decorated with bone and head.  After we finished the sashimi, the bone was fried and we just realized the best part of the fish was this bone.  We ate it all from head to tail.
I think the service was fairly good since we were well attended.  In addition, they surprised us with a free tempura ice-cream to calibrate the BD.  I'm so happy with Your House!  I'd keep coming back.

Looks can be deceiving...This place doesn't have the greatest exterior, but the food  is surely well prepared. I had the Spider rolls, and the Pink lady rolls. Both were freshly prepared and very delicious. This place is moderately priced, but there is also a happy hour menu (3PM-7PM) which has selected rolls for about $6. The service here was exactly what I expected it would be like: I made eye contact with the waitress:told her what I wanted and in 10-15 minutes was eatting. Quick service + tasty decently price California rolls = 4 stars!

Cuz I'd rather be at YOUR HOUSE....Love this place! B-Friend and I try and make it our afternoon date on wednesdays=) They have a happy hour from 3-7, where they have a few rolls for 7.99 and all the ones I've tried so far were pretty amazing. The kryptonite and king of kings are the ones that stand out to me. The place looks like a lil' old ladies house from outside but, its pretty clean and tropically decorated inside. Ben the sushi chef is so sweet and already knows how we like our food, which is burning face hot=) We have also tried the thai menu...Crab rice was ok, but the curries have yet to disappoint! All in all the food was pretty good. Check this place out!

This place is right down the street from my home, and they deliver, which gives them buku bonus points as far as I'm concerned!

I haven't had a bad thing yet, and I've dined in and had the food delivered multiple times.  One thing I will note about dine in, the water smells funny and the wait staff isn't necessarily superb.

Thai:
Their Pad Ki Mao is delicious, as is their Orange Chicken.  I would go so far as to say that it is probably the best Orange Chicken I have ever had.

Sushi:
Decent and made fresh to order.   They have a sushi happy hour which is from 4-7 and select rolls (around 10) are priced at $7 (regularly around $12-$13).  Favorite of what I've ordered so far is the Candy Roll.

In conclusion, you should definitely check it out.  It is reasonably priced, so it won't break the bank, and it will definitely satiate your sushi fix.

Sushi and Thai? That's normally a recipe for disaster as it's two foods that fusion doesn't necessary works well.

The Thai food I had for dinner at Your House was actually okay and fairly authentic. It looks like they also have a nice selection of fusion rolls and killer happy hours. Unfortunately I'll never make it to happy hour but that's my bad. The ambiance in the restaurant was relaxing and colorful, however not really suitable if romance was your goal.

One item that I agree with is that the wait staff is not necessary up snuff. I said hot sauce and was presented with hot fish sauce. Also it took a while for them to pick up the bill.

The Sushi here are amazing! I try to make it for their happy hour specials.  I think I've tried every roll on their happy hour menu.  Along side from the happy hour menu, one must try my favorite roll... The PARADISE roll it is amazing.  Salmon baked roll with some sort of sweet sauce.  For thai the noodle dishes aren't so bad, though the Pad Thai is not my favorite.  The papaya salad is pretty good, ask for it extra spicy.  You'll be in for a treat.  Thai Ice Coffee is pretty yum here as well.  I come here at least once a week.   The service here is pretty good, but they're lacking on the number of staff.  It's usually a long wait on your food.  It's a hit or miss kind of thing, but the food makes up for it.  Enjoy dining here.  (=

Your House (not my house, yours) has really ornate Thai decor and a long menu of Thai food... and sushi??!

I didn't try the sushi, and the Thai dishes were pretty good.  We had tom yum soup, pad thai and yellow curry - all of it was solid, enough spices and not too much salt/fish sauce.  The tofu in the pad thai and curry tasted pretty fresh.  The curry wasn't as spicy as I would have liked it, maybe they were just trying to save us from ourselves...

I found that the service is a little slow after you get your food - the staff are quick to take your order and even seem to rush you a bit through the first part of service, but things really slack off as soon as the food comes out of the kitchen.  5 min from seated to ordering, but 15 from asking for the check to actually getting it... I guess they're in no hurry to get their money!

Based on all the reviews, I may try the sushi, but I'm still apprehensive about it.

I've lived three blocks away from this place for three years and FINALLY checked it out with my roommate last night to celebrate getting the keys to our new apartment in LA.  I was really really surprised by the huge menu and the variety of sushi rolls they offer.  We ended up ordering a few rolls and some pad se ew to sample and really liked everything.  Too bad we're moving in a month!!

Cherry Bomb Roll- really tasty, though its basically a suped up California Roll with some Tuna slices arranged like a flower in the center.

Candy Roll - definitely my favorite of the rolls we ordered!

Yellow Tail sushi - decent... Sushi Studio is better (can they please reopen?)

Salmon Sushi - delicious!!

Pad Se Ew - I've had better.  It's okay, but I probably wouldn't order it from here again.

My roommate ordered a couple other rolls that were heavier and warm.  I think he enjoyed them.  Overall we were very satisfied, had good service and were left going "WHY THE HELL DIDNT WE COME HERE BEFORE?"  Seriously, this place has been 3 blocks away for 3 years... and they deliver!  Oh how much money we would have spent at Your House instead of Big E's and Pizza Hut, haha.  Oh well!

this place is okay. the only thing special is serving thai and sushi at the same place.

ordered spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll and spider roll from the sushi menu. then ordered spicy beef salad and bbq chicken from the thai menu.

the sushi was good, not delicious and not enough fish.
did i forget to mention the waitress forgot my spider roll? i asked for it a few minutes later and she said there was  a glitch in the computer system and sushi chef never got the order.

good one retard, thanks for the lie.. there goes your tip. just tell me you forgot.
anyway, the thai salad was a 2 out of 5. i said spicy not mild?! the chicken tasted liked it was frozen for a few years too long .. gross..

it didnt help there was this drunk couple sitting at the sushi bar screaming happy birthday to every person who walked in including us. can someone stop serving these losers drinks! hullo get a clue!

why 2 stars and not 1 star.. bcuz they did have alot of different items on there menu and there thai ice tea was okay.

but i won't go back to this place.. a waste of money.. no thanks.

I can't decide whether to give this place a 2 star or 3 star. The place opened at 11 but we went in at 1130 and were the first customers. My Thai friend knows her food and is just getting into the sushi scene. For me, I know my sushi but am learning Thai cuisine. We wanted to try this one even though we heard not so good reviews about this place. The Thai community doesn't need Yelp, I guess the community is real small so almost everyone knows good and bad Thai places. For me, I need Yelp.

But anyway, friend ordered Thai food - Pad Kra Prao with squid. (menu item L6).  She said it was spicy good. I had a few bites of it too and thought it was good. Then she ordered Pad Thai... she asked them to make it Thai style, not American which means not so sweet. It came out and even I know bad Pad Thai... I asked her what was wrong with it. It was watery and basically American style. Ugh it was horrible! I know it's rude but I actually spit that bite out in my napkin. Yeah, that bad.

I ordered the Maki lunch special called Candy. It was kind of like a bento - it had a salad (the dressing was quite good!), 4 pieces of California roll but for some reason they don't make their California roll with cucumber. it only had hte crab mix and avocado. It also came with Shrimp tempura with avocado and spicy crab meat on top. This was more sweet than spicy. I thought the special was good although the rice didn't have flavor. The miso soup was waaaaaaaay to watery. My friend and I swapped soups. I thought her vegetable soup was good.

I also ordered the roll called Amazing Kiss. It really was not amazing at all. The description didn't even mention fried onions although now that I look at the picture,  it is garnished on top. But when we got this roll it was like someone threw a whole fried onion on top. Way way way way way waaaaaayyyy too much friend onions. I was actually quite disapointed in this roll especially since it was $13!

The take home menus are amazing. They did a really nice job taking a picture of everything and putting it on their menu.

So overall, if you want sushi I think this place is ok. But then again, I didn't eat any raw fish. Usually I do at new sushi places but I think I didn't try because the lunch special distracted me - the price $10. The pictures of the sashimi and specialty look really nice and makes one one want to try it. If you want Thai food, it's your gamble. Some items are good and some a just bad bad bad.

I've decided to give this place a 3 since there were quite a few items that I thought were good. I spent about $25 and my friend spent $17. Will I be back? Probably not.

When I first walked in this place, I was pleasantly surprised by its interior because the outside of Your House is pretty old and rugged. Inside everything  was nicely decorated and very "thai". The food was good...probably one of the better thai places I've been to. I ordered the Pad Seu Eu and it was pretty bomb....juicy, flavorful, sweet, and it was well-portioned. My friend ordered one of the sushi rolls........ SUSHI ROLLS ??!?!?!!? YES YOUR PLACE serves sushi rolls ! and they serve plenty of different types of rolls...not to mention the thai menu (which is prettyyyyy long). It took awhile for the sushi roll to come out so I'm docking a point off for Your Place. Overall, it's a nice place to go for lunch or dinner; the ambience and environment of Your Place is relaxing, calm and friendly.

I'll admit, this place has good food. Like, amazing sushi rolls (Cherry Bomb/Highway Roll = nom) and their Thai food is pretty good.

However! Their service is the worst I have experienced in a long time. Waiting to be acknowledged from the waitress? That took a good 15 minutes and it shouldn't have as there were only a few other people there. I went with my BFF and we ordered similar things; sushi rolls. I also got some hot noodles too so I figured it'd be a while. I was proven wrong! My specialty roll (the Red Dragon) and hot food came out before my friends (she ordered a Highway and a Spicy Tuna Roll) by at least 20 minutes.
I'd say that maybe...MAYBE the service could have been faster if the waitress actually wrote the order down, but I doubt it.

Ridiculous!

I asked for water for my friend and I and I swear that took 5 minutes because the waiter forgot. I saw him walking towards the table with an 'Oh!' face.

All in all, food was great but service was the worst. I don't know if I'll be going back.

(P.S: It seems that if you're a monk or an Asian couple you'll get way faster service. How rude!)

Firstly, going to a Thai/sushi fusion restaurant is usually a bad idea. Normally the Thai is decent, and the Sushi sucks.

This isn't the case at Your House.  Both the Thai and Sushi are wonderful, with some of the Sushi rolls being my favorite of any sushi restaurant out there.

The sashmi tends to be fresh, and I don't recall ever going there and have poor quality fish. It's always had a fresh taste, and the rolls are very creative. The Thai food is always very good, and creative as well.

Service is wonderful every time I go there. Rather I sit at the bar, or at a table I get a great server. The Sushi chefs are great, and they have very creative rolls. They always treat loyal customers well.

I love this place, and I'm saddened that i don't live as close to it as I used to. So I don't visit it as much as I'd like.

My fiance and I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed.  From the exterior it may not look amazing, but inside you will find a clean atmosphere - with a great staff.  We primarily come here for inexpensive sushi.  Their happy hour brought us in, which features $7 any sushi roll, $2 Beers, and discounts on Sake Bombs (I forget the price.)
We have been several other times for sushi and the fish has always been fresh, the sushi chef friendly and attentive, and the prices are very fair.  Each time we've been we have also been offered free dessert and once even an additional order of sushi with the chef's special preparation.
I have yet to try the Thai side of the menu, but I will certainly recommend the sushi selection to anyone looking for a great meal on a budget.  To put it in perspective, we eat sushi a lot and usually order the same things - 4 or 5 orders of nigiri (tuna, hamachi, snapper, or whatever looks good) , a couple interesting rolls, and perhaps some sashimi or whatever is special that evening.  At Yen on 2nd st our bill is usually over $100... at Your House it has never been more than $50!

After searching for MANYYYY years to find a great sushi bar and I have finally decided that Your House has all the components that I have been looking for.

They have a friendly staff, great prices and AMAZING fish!!!

Their Yellow tail  Belly is SOOOOO good when they do have it and if they don't the regular Yellow Tail is always really good and buttery also.
The sushi chef are cool guys that actually talk with you!! They understand what you are talking about and know their fish well.

Sorry for those of you who think going out for sushi is a  "California Roll and Veggie Tempura" I can't help you with a review on those items. Try some real fish here and you will know what good fish actually tastes like.

As for the Thai food.. I have only had a few items but over all they were realllly good as well.

This place is just an all around GREAT stop for any one who doesn't just want the cookie cutter sushi place.

If you like Thai fusion Sushi you will like this place.  They do have one of my favorite cold sake's at a very reasonable price.  Actually the best price on sake in Long Beach.  They also have the best assortment of happy hour rolls I have seen.  I am a huge fan of there happy hour menu and at $7 bucks a roll you can not go wrong.  The rolls here remind me of sushi studio.  Now I love Sushi.

I love their happy hour.  It's daily from 3pm - 7pm.  I think the sushi there is very, very good for what they charge.  Good variety of rolls.

The Thai coconut chicken soup is really good.  The Rasa noodle soup is not good, don't order!  It's basically noodles with curry sauce dumped on it.  There was no "soup."

Green chicken curry is just ok.  I've definitely had better.

The food here is fine. Nothing special. Come here for a corn syruppy roll or some decent Thai food. The green curry was particularly decent because of the fire hot eggplant that melts in your mouth. Buttery texture and smooth flavor...

Watch your credit card statement however. They charged us twice for the same dinner and upon questioning them they were not very apologetic. They said they'd look into it...a couple days later they told us to pick up the money. Needless to say, we told them to credit it back to our card and that we're not coming back.

These things happen (if it was a mistake) but it's all about how you handle it. They weren't very professional.

Also, come to think of it...it did smell like feet....

Your house is OK during happy hour. Otherwise, I would rather eat at my house.

Another place a friend of mine recommended and I agreed to meet with her here. I'm weird about curb appeal and signs. If it's not appealing, there's a great chance that I won't go in. I never would have chosen this place on my own. Just the decor alone from the outside, all the trees and shrubbery, makes it look like a jungle. Something I did not want to explore.

The sushi selection was minimal and not the freshest. But I had a few rolls because it was during happy hour. I also had some fish cakes from the Thai menu that tasted like cardboard. Ehh. Service was ehh too.

What's with all these sushi places owned by Thai people that my friend convinces me to try? I'll have to ask her about that.

Anyhow, I think their happy hour for sushi rolls are 3-7 everyday. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. Don't try to order it to go during happy hour because they'll just charge you full price. No need for me to return for a second try. My initial instinct to decline was correct and I should have listened.

"Your house?"

"My house?  WTF are you talking about?  I ain't got food at my house, that's why we eatin' out!"

One of the best Thai food I've ever had -- via take out.  I haven't dined in yet but I've had their take out and it has been mouth-watering good.

Best pad thai ($7.25) in Long Beach, possibly L.A. (we'll see ...).  Another dish is to die for is their garlic, pepper chicken ($7.25).  Soaked with juice, sauce and topped with generous fried garlic.  Mmmm mmm.  I can't believe such good food exists.  Ohhh ... for fish lovers, I recommend the lime with trout (whole fish including head, skin, tail, bones, the works!).

Rememer, these dishes does not include rice.  You have to pay for that separately - which I find to be ridiculous because I come from a culture who gives you free rice, may even throw it in your face because we are so giving ... but I am not saying Thai ppl aren't giving.  I am just not used to paying for white rice.  I love Thai ppl, please don't beat me.

If take out was bomb-diggity-dizzle ... I bet their dining would be FUCKENLY-AWESOME!

***UPDATE 11/4/06***
Finally dined in!  This place is Thai fusion, mixed with a sushi bar.  Nice, cozy spot.  I rushed over here from L.A. almost half an hour before it closed.  We called in to beg them to accomodate us if we arrived too late and they were SO friendly about it - told us to just ge there "safe."

I ordered their garlic pepper chicken again (of course) and it was delish again.  Their broccoli with spicy peanut sauce over chicken is good too.  But the broccoli is steamed - no flavor.  I'm a huge fan of mango with sticky rice (dessert) but DO NOT order it from here.  It wasn't horrific, but the mango wasn't entirely ripe and the rice wasn't entirely "sticky."  It tasted like soft rice with sugar.  Ehhhh....

I still love this place!!

I've never gotten anything at Your House that wasn't fantastic.  I prefer the Thai dishes (Pad See Ew and Pineapple Fried Rice are great!), but I've also gotten some of the sushi rolls and they were excellent.  Unfortunately, the service can be spotty, even for takeout where I've had to wait half an hour on occasion.

It has become a Thai/Sushi Hybrid restaurant since the last time I ate here. Good for people who can't decide on what to eat.

The Thai food is mostly good and sometimes okay. I guess it depends which chef is working that day. Then why do I keep coming back?

Beef Jerky and Home-made Dipping Sauce.

It's phenomenal! The beef jerky is crispy on the outside and tasty chewy on the inside. You can peel off strips like string cheese! The sauce.... The sauce will make you lick the bowl! It's sweet, spicy and zesty! In fact, the sauce is better than the beef jerky! No other restaurant has been able to duplicate it. Hell, Sophy's has good beef jerky too but they serve it with plain vinegar and black pepper sauce.

The service is usually good. Come for the Thai food and then try sushi!

Finally made it to Your House with Mike T and we were pretty pleased as far as the Thai part goes. We hadn't realized that it was both a Thai place and Fusion Sushi place. The four stars are for the Thai part.

We got there during the Sushi Happy Hour (3pm to 7pm daily), so although we originally had no intention of getting sushi, we decided to try some anyway since the maki were $5, what the heck. We got 2 of the fusion rolls, which were all right if you like fusion rolls. Overall though, while interesting and tasty they didn't seem all that fresh, so personally I'd stick to the Thai and skip the sushi, especially if you are a sushi snob. But if you are a fan of Sushi Studio you'd very likely like the rolls here as well. And the happy hour seems like a great deal, the rolls are huge (actually I wish they were smaller so they'd fit in my mouth), so this would be great for a group, especially if you want a lot of food for not a lot of money. But enough about the sushi.

So, on to the Thai menu (they have 2 separate menus). The Thai menu is huge! There are more dishes than I've seen at many other Thai restaurants, and some that we hadn't seen before. It's also a picture menu, so that's cool. We don't like to order the same old things at Thai restaurants, so we tried some new dishes to us. We got a roasted duck salad and muk kung prik (spicy squid and shrimp with basil, onion, & chili in oyster sauce). Both dishes were very good, really nice flavors in both, especially the salad. My brother is more of a Thai food aficionado than I, but he certainly approved. They deliver within a 3 mile radius, so we picked up a menu in case we decide to try them out for delivery sometime.

They have Orion beer, so that's a bonus.

Service was pretty good, and atmosphere was pretty cozy. You can't miss this place if you're driving by, it's all decked out in Christmas lights. There are lots of Thai magazines and newspapers as you walk in the door. On a side note, there was a TV with Tom & Jerry showing... man, that cartoon stands the test of time!

P.S. They also do catering, so if you are looking for big platters of egg rolls, fried rice, chow mein, pad thai, beef jerky, papaya salad, or fried bananas, you can hook that up here.

Once per month, I make a pilgrimage to Long Beach for work.  I have an hour lunch break in between appointments.  On my way from one to the next, I discovered Your House Thai Restaurant.  I'm always craving thai food, so it seemed like a good place to try out.  The great thing is that there is ample parking in the back and on the side of the restaurant.

The restaurant itself is quite spacious with booths and tables.  It seems like it would be a great place for large groups.  They also have a sushi bar.  My co-worker and I always get a booth.  I can't remember all that I've eaten here, but the selection is large and includes some non-thai, but asian items as well.  I know that the pad see ewe was good and the thai iced teas are always a treat.  The lunch prices are reasonable and the food is plentiful.  You will most likely have some leftovers.

I haven't bothered looking for another lunch place in LB.  Your House suits my needs for my monthly visit and my growling stomach.

My daniel and I came here for dinner tonight...it was about 6 when we came so we were just in time for happy hour....daniel got a couple of beers and we ordered some sushi...krptonite....soooooo good!! A MUST!!!!

For dinner, i ordered the pad thai noodles with shrimp and daniel got the eggplant plate with tofo and a side of rice..

so my food comes out and first thing i hear is, "wow that smells" and i was like, "ummm..ya...." ....

i live in cen cal where we have fairs and festivals and all that crap for our livestock like pigs, cows, sheep, etc.
The first thing I smell is a sheep pin, with hay and caca everywhere...seriously this is what is smelled like...and i tried to make the best of it, but i gaged at one time and swallowed my puke and it was done...no more for me...

i sat, starving looking at daniels plate, pretty pissed and still am pissed... i hate when i waste my money on food i dont like...grrrr!!!

Why the four stars??  sushi was good...AND for 2 entrees, 2 beers, and sushi the total with tip came out to 32 dollars!!!

Dont get me wrong this place is good and the last time i was here, like 2 years ago, i remember REALLY liking it, so i just gotta find something for next time :)

Have you ever wondered what the feet of a man who just walked accross burning coal would smell like?  If so, order the beef jerky here and you'll have an answer to your question.  I'd imagine it gives you a pretty good idea of what they would taste like as well.  Seriously, this dish offered nothing more than a violent and volatile assult on two of my five senses.

Don't think that stopped me from trying other menu items though. There are some who have called me a hero for pressing on the way I did, but I am just a simple man with an insatiable desire to tempt danger every chance I get.  Yes, I courageously weathered the near vomit inducing storm and found that some of the other dishes will actually make you want to take a second bite.

The Thai stuff is decent with nothing really exciting to mention, but the real value in this restaraunt is the happy hour.  It lasts from 3-7 everyday (reviewer holds face Home Alone style and gasps dramatically) and offers good prices on sushi and drinks.

There are a variety of rolls that will only bring you down 6 bucks and I'm not talking about any busch league california rolls either, these things are legit.  It is by no means the best sushi I have ever had, but for the price it is very good and certainly nothing to sneeze at.

Now, my favorite part of the happy hour is a bottle of sake only costs $3.50, but strangely a single shot runs $2.00.  Beers are also $2.00 and sake bombs are $3.00.  Coupled with the cheap rolls and booze, this would make a good place to take a date without dropping very much cash and still walk away with a full belly and a blood alcohal level a nice dose above the legal limit (settle down, I said walk away, not drive) .

Very nice garden atmosphere outside.  Inside looks like a hybrid of a fast food restaurant, and an upscale restaurant.

Food wasn't terrible.  I've had better though.
