Rev. Peadar is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed every second with him, he is a wonderful person! He spent time really getting to know us, crafting a very unique ceremony just for us, which turned out more amazing than we ever could have imagined. Every one of our guests whole-heartedly took us aside to let us know that is was by far the best, most intimate and enjoyable service they had ever been to. All of our friends that were already married wished they had used Peadar, and other couples asked for his contact info :) He was absolutely amazing at setting a tone that was both fun and sincere, and had great ideas for unique ceremony elements that were very heart-felt. What Peadar brought to our big day was absolutely priceless, we could not have felt happier or more in love, or closer to our friends and family!

My only regret is that I didn't write this review earlier.
My husband and I got married in June of 2009 and from the initial phone call to the in person meeting, Rev. Dalton was warm, approachable, kind and attentive and authentic. He asked all the pertinent questions to get a "feel" for us as a couple as well as the crazy family dynamics that would be at play at our wedding and created a wonderful wedding ceremony for us.
Friends/family who attended our wedding (which included born again Christians, Jews, Catholics, Hindus, Muslims, Crunchy atheists, etc.) ALL loved him which says volumes about him and his ability to make all feel included.

Rev. Peadar Dalton officiated our wedding last month in Sonoma. We truly couldn't have hoped for a better officiant. He was highly recommended, and it is now obvious to us why. He is professional, sincere, knowledgeable and charming. You will never find a better person to officiate your wedding.
My wife comes from a Jewish background and I'm from a Catholic background. However, neither of us are really practicing and don't consider ourselves very religious people. Therefore, we wanted a ceremony that wasn't overly religious, but which would speak to the religious traditions of our families while remaining relatively secular. Rev. Dalton delivered just that. Our parents, families and friends all loved the ceremony and we received numerous compliments for our choice in selecting Rev. Dalton as our officiant. The ceremony he organized was eloquent, moving and sincere. He quoted from the Little Prince, Ralph Waldo Emerson, as well as using brief, pertinent portions of the bible. I highly recommend contacting Your Ceremony Matters and considering Rev. Dalton to officiate your special day. You won't regret it. -

Reverend Peadar (pronounced like Peter) Dalton of Your Ceremony Matters is amazing. We stole him from a friends wedding, really. We saw him officiate at their wedding and got his contact info, several years later, he performed our ceremony.
Peadar is technically non-demoninational, which means if you are like us and may be spiritual, but not of one particular religion and want a ceremony about the two of you as a couple and your love, and NOT about baby jesus, then he can do that. He is a good Irish Catholic so should you want the above he can do that too. He really listens to what each couple wants and then does it. I guess it helps that he's also a therapist!
In selecting Peadar we first filled out a lot of forms about each other and our families. Then closer to the wedding we had a call to go over those forms. Once on track and he had a basic idea of where we want to go with our ceremony we met with him in person. He came to where we were staying in Napa (VERY accomodating). He listened perfectly to what we wanted and in practicing what he was thinking of doing, he moved me to tears!
At the ceremony he was professional and arrived on time and knew who everyone was. He set the tone of the whole thing, making it very very moving and powerful, yet light (he made jokes here and there). JUST what we wanted. He moved everything along and kept it short as we'd asked. He also made sure to have our best man and woman sign the marriage license as the witnesses, mailing it off to the courthouse the next day.
I highly recommend Peadar if you want a ceremony no one will ever forget. My religious family members, my agnostic pals, and many of our loved ones of all faiths were truly impressed.

Rev. Peadar did a wonderful job for our wedding ceremony in St Helena back in 2006. He made everyone feel welcome, included our children and is very warm and sincere.
He still keeps in touch on our anniversary month. I'm very happy that we found him and highly recommend him. -

My fiance and i met Rev. Dalton last Saturday for an initial consultation... and we LOVED him. We are super excited to create our ceremony with him and have him officiate on our special day. I look forward to updating this review as we get closer to our wedding day!!!

Rev. Peadar Dalton did such a fantastic job at our wedding! He came recommended to us by numerous people including our wedding coordinator. From the first phone call to subsequent meetings in person, he guided us through the whole process of creating a beautiful, and memorable ceremony.
We were very concerned how to create a ceremony which our parents would like. Both sets of parents are religious, and we aren't. Rev. Dalton put us at ease, and helped us incorporate their beliefs without losing site of what we wanted.
During the ceremony he added several personal touches; stories about us that he gathered during our meetings, asking the children to touch the rings for good luck, and even involving our parents for a blessing of the rings. When my husband dropped my ring during the ring ceremony he quickly told a story about how it meant we would be having twins!
Our guests are still commenting on how wonderful and personalized the ceremony was. They were excited to be part of something that wasn't "cookie cutter".
Rev. Dalton is a perfect fit for any ceremony religious, not religious, traditional or non traditional. He will make your ceremony about you and the love you share. Something you will never forget. -

My husband and I decided to go for a "wedding package" at the Harvest Inn in Napa. We do not have a family minister/rabbi/etc. so Harvest Inn recommended and booked Peadar Dalton for us. We were not able to meet or speak with Rev. Dalton until about 20 minutes before the ceremony. Incredibly, Rev. Dalton's speech was touching, personal, charming and he incorporated everything we asked him to - as well as left out anything we did not want included in our non-religious ceremony. Everyone at our wedding asked where we found him! and said it was one of the best ceremonies they'd been to! I was incredibly impressed - Rev. Dalton is highly recommended by all of us!

Rev Dalton married us and his talent is incredible!! We had a very small ceremony of 10 people and he gathered information about each of us and our families in a small time. He is such a sweet man that is sincere, funny and inventive. Many times ceremonies become a cookie cutter ceremony with all the clichés. Reverend Dalton made us laugh, cry and really spoke from the heart. He truly touched into our desires, our personal story and our families and gave us a beautiful touching ceremony that we will never ever forget..

I'm a professional photographer, and Paeder and I shared two weddings in 2008. Each time, I was moved by Peadar's leadership and presence to the ceremonies. Peader rises to the top to make unions sacred, depthful, and memorable...just like they should be. Additionally, his Irish accent and speaking ability are nothing but charming.

Paeder married us two weeks ago and we could not have asked for a more perfect officiant. He listened to what we wanted, made an effort to get to know us and our families and prepared a ceremony that was very, very moving and meaningful. My husband and I come from very Catholic backgrounds and we weren't sure about how a non-Catholic wedding would be received by our families and guests. After the wedding we received (and continue to receive) many compliments on the ceremony and many people said it was the most moving ceremony they had ever been to. Joanne is great to work with also and makes the planning very easy and smooth. I would highly recommend Paeder and Your Ceremony Matters.

reverend peadar dalton oversaw our wedding ceremony, and he did an awesome/amazing job... reverend dalton never met my wife, myself, or any of our family members before the day of the wedding and just by virtually chatting with each person for 5 to 10 minutes, he was able to collect enough important information about us and our families which he shared and used in the service... his words were indeed warm, touching, meaningful, and captivating... i'm the type of christian who should but doesn't attend church on a weekly basis... i was so touched by reverend dalton's sermon, delivery, demeanor that i even mentioned to him that if he did indeed oversee a church that i would attend on a weekly basis to hear the reverend deliver the good word of God... h-100...
