I wanted to get hair extensions styled into my hair for my senior prom and asked how much it would cost which was $65. It turned out that my hair extensions had false advertisement saying it was heat style friendly, when it really wasn't. Gemma did my hair without the extensions and still charged me $65 when a regular style would cost $45, I was too happy with the result to even retaliate about the price. I LOVED my hair for prom, sucks for me to not fight back haha. She also did my hair for my 8th grade promotion which I fell in love with, it wasn't exactly what I wanted but the result was still great.
Other than that my Auntie is a regular costumer since Alicia came back. Before I didn't really trust her with my hair but that was when I was younger. I got my second haircut of the year from her which I loved! She did exactly what I asked for and ever since this haircut I've been getting a lot of compliments not from people I know but even from random people I've never met before in stores or even fast food places haha. Since my Auntie's a regular I only had to pay $25, she's been with her for probably 4 years now I think.
So three stars just because It's pricey, and I still have a grudge about that $20 extra charge haha.
After almost 24 years I have finally found a hair salon that makes me feel comfortable walking into and a hair stylist who knows what I like, what fits me, and is very friendly and NOT intimidating.
Recently, they had changed owners but the vibe is still there and some of the employees who were there before stayed behind. I really like this hair salon because you pay for what you get; no doubt about it!
Also, they have really great products for cheaper than you would find at actual beauty shops or other hair salons (for example: Paul Mitchell, Bed Head, etc.). They do not let you down there!
If you decide to go, I recommend asking for Gemma. But remember, RESERVATIONS ONLY! And remember to bring cash.
