My dog likes You Lucky Dogz but I prefer Klub K9 in Sunnyvale.  My dog is much dirtier and stinkier when I pick her up from You Lucky Dogz than from Klub K9.  I wondered why until the other day when I saw (via the You Lucky Dogz webcam) my dog playing with other dogs in a room with pools of dog pee.  It took them over 15 minutes to clean up the dog pee.  There were no humans in there during that time.  Maybe I just couldn't see the humans, but if there were they should have cleaned up the pee right away!  

I am also a bit worried about my dog getting dog-napped from You Lucky Dogz.  Anyone can just walk in and say that they are there to pick up any dog and they will hand you the dog.  If you have a dog that is very friendly to strangers, I'd avoid You Lucky Dogz so your dog won't be released to a random stranger.  Maybe I'm just paranoid.

You Lucky Dogz is a HOPE Services Business Venture that offers excellent doggie daycare in Santa Clara near Rivermark.  All of my neighbors take their dogs to You Lucky Dogz and they do a great job.  The staff is very kind and affectionate with the dogs.  We have used other dog day care places in the area and I have noticed that our dog leaves You Lucky Dogz cleaner and calmer then some of the other places.  I believe some of this is because the staff pays more individual attention to each dog instead of just letting them loose in a huge warehouse like some other day care places.  The price is good, but if you buy the packages it is even better.  They are open 7 am - 7 pm and will bath the dogs for an extra charge.  They have a small and large dog section - indoor and outdoor.  Overall, we have been very pleased with the special attention they are willing to give at You Lucky Dogz.

You Lucky Dogz also provides training and employment opportunities for some of HOPE Services' workers who have chosen careers in animal care. They receive training, do internships and are often hired to begin their careers as Dog Care Aides at You Lucky Dogz.
