My boyfriend planned a trip to Yosemite including a weekend stay at this B&B as my Christmas present, and I was not disappointed in the least!  Don and Kay are the Innkeepers, and are really great!  Kay prepared some very filling and delicious breakfasts each morning, and both Don and Kay are full of interesting conversation and advice for making the most of your visit to Yosemite.  I had the most amazing banana-walnut pancakes for breakfast.  We actually got snowed in on the day we were supposed to leave, but Don and Kay were so sweet and made sure that we were comfortable and made lunch for us while we were stuck there.  Kay was diligent in calling the park service every 30 minutes to determine if the roads were reopened, so we could be on our way.  Since we had to leave in the snow, Don also lent us bungee chords for securing the snow chains to our tires.  They were full of helpful advice as to the best route to leave Yosemite, how to drive in the heavy snow conditions and what to look out for.

We stayed in the Dogwood room, which had a wood burning fireplace and a jetted tub for two people.  The room was stocked with plenty of firewood, bathrobes, and extra towels for getting in and out of the jetted tub.  There was a refrigerator in the room and a microwave just outside the room, in case you want to heat something up.

I can't say enough great things about the Yosemite Peregrine B&B and the great Innkeepers!!  This is definitely a great way to go in the winter when it's too cold to camp or as a romantic getaway!  Thanks Don and Kay for EVERYTHING!

Kay and Don Pitts really great people, maybe a little eccentric as you would expect long time residents of Yosemite to be.  Fun to talk to, great stories.  My wife and I stayed with them last year in the Fall and had a great time.  They really know the park and shared with us locals only secrets.  Yosemite is not that crowded in the off-season, but where Kay sent us there was nobody, but us.  We stayed in the Panorama Room.  Bed was good, house was quiet, I remember liking the breakfast, but I can't remember what they served.  The best part was being right inside Yosemite and getting to see three brown bears at Glacier Point which is a shortish drive from the inn.

Reserver BEWARE!  When I made a reservation at this B&B I was not made aware that my CC would be charged for the NON Refundable full amount of two days stay (~$380). The owner neglected to mention this when he. booked the room.  Well, 24 hours after I made the reservation and 3 weeks before I was due to arrive, I had to cancel the room. It was then that he told me he wouldn't refund my money. After some discussion, he finally relinquished and said he would refund my money IFF he could rent out the room. Since it was for a weekend in August (high season in Yosemite), he was able to rent the room BUT he decided to keep a $25 processing fee -- which he never mentioned.  Sheesh. All I can say is, only make a reservation here if you are darn sure your plans won't change.  Or, like me -- just don't ever make a reservation here again.
