Yorktown

The Yorktown is the oldest aircraft carrier that's still afloat today! It was a highly decorated WWII ship that is now a museum in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. I dated a Citadel cadet for a little while in college, and we attended a dance on board the Yorktown. It was a cool atmosphere and made for a memorable time. I liked being surrounded by history.
