This is my mom's LYS, and for good reason. Great selection and friendly staff...a perfect combination. A good selection of various yarns, especially the Plymouth Encore line and Cascade brand, as well as sock yarns. Lots of lines in the shop that I have not seen elsewhere, which is always a treat. They do have a website (http://www.yorkshireya...) and a blog (http://yorkshireyarnso...). Definitely worth a stop in.
I love this place. The owner is fantastic, the help is wonderful....love her sock yarn collection and yarn collection in general!
This is a fun shop! The owner is a blast! She has a fabulous selection of yarn--from very good, reasonably priced acrylics, a huge selection of Noro and sock yarn, and beautiful hand dyed yarns. She has lots of patterns and books. She does lots of social knitting groups and is always open to drop-in sitter/knitters. Even her newletter is fun to read.
