The Good:  The have like bowling lanes, bowling balls, shoes, arcade and a bar.  Yeah it's pretty much a bowling alley.  Service was good, one of my friends bowls here like once a week.

The Bad:  My bowling skills, but it kills time and it's fun.

The Ben:  Had to work off my Slater's 50/50 burger somehow :P

This place is great.  Its not really one of those hip bowling alleys(although they do have the standard cosmic bowling weekend nights).  This place is more of a neighborhood kick back and bowl kinda spot.  During most week-afternoons there is league play going on.  Best time to get a lane is typically after 9pm on weekdays.  They have some great mon/wed/sun specials after 9, i think its like 2 dollars a game and 2 dollar shoe rentals.

They keep the lanes maintained well and fairly consistent and everything is super clean here.  The staff are helpful and not overbearing at all.  Just dont be a goof(always wear bowling shoes, dont throw two balls at once, etc) and u'll be fine.

Most of the people ive met here and bowled with here are fairly experienced bowlers so try to pick up on some of the bowling etiquette  when you're here.  things like waiting back while someone is getting read to bowl is a big one(stay out of our peripheral vision, its bugs the heck out of me!  raaawwwrrr!).

ha, i bet i make this place sound like a snobby bowlers only kind of place.  it really isnt though.  Everyone is super cool here.  Also if u wanna see someone string out a ton of strikes in a row, look out for Jared.  He's a younger 18-21(?) kid, about 6'2, big framed.  Really cool guy, personable and easy to talk to.

Oh and their snack bar is pretty good.  They have an EXCELLENT club sandwich that comes with fries.  Only bad thing about the snack bar is that they close at 9.   They also have a bar there with karaoke on some nights.

All in all, if u wanna bowl and ur in the area, check it out.

Ahhh...this reminds me of Lanes and Games in Cambridge, MA but without my awesome fellow Yelpers, candlepin, Alewife, and walking on the hwy.

When I came back home from graduate school, I met up with my friend Kevin  L. from high school here since he is quite the professional bowling that practices here.

Me: Where should we meet up?
Kevin: YL Bowl. It's a full bar...but with freakin' bowling. What else do you need?
Me: (thought: naked girls?) Rock on! I'll see you there.

This is one of two sports that one can actually drink (and if you're eating bar food, it'll also lubricate your ball) while playing. The other being golf. Not so much for NASCAR.

i hate coming to this bowling alley.  sorry, i rather go to concourse.

I got yelled here so many times.  At first i thought it was because i was asian but really it was because i would bowl with two balls at once lol.

The lanes are slimmer and shorter than normal. If going on a regular night go to AMF instead because this place is kind of a rip off. Too many old people and it smells.

Rude service, expensive / watery beer, over oiled lanes and a smog machine that makes the air chewable. Nuff said.

I recently have gotten on a bowling kick and am I ever glad that I found this place near home.  Seeing as I can barely break a hundred, it's a good thing they have $2 deal nights on Sundays and Mondays because this girl needs lots, and lots of practice before I can bowl with the big boys...

For some reason, I bowl the best when I'm here.  Like the first reviewer said, it's not the hippest bowling alley around but I still like it.  Definitely a laid back atmosphere.  I come here just about every week.  When it's cosmic bowling time, it gets a little funky.  The lights are old and this place just wasn't meant for late night bowling.
