Went on Sat night with group of 6 for hibachi. Seated and served promptly. Waitress and chef were friendly.
Large portions, somewhat expensive but not outrageous. Got lobster and steak - nothing special. Tip jar on chef's cart is a little strange, and probably unsanitary, but tipping is not really forced upon anyone. Given the cost of the meals, it's a hard sell.
Overall - average. A decent time with a large group but with a small party I would go elsewhere for better food.
I'm a vegetarian, and the vegetarian hibachi/sushi combo just fails to impress. Largish portions, at least. For hibachi, I don't know where else to go. For sushi, both Chaya and Umi come immediately to mind.
For a large group, it's hard to beat Yokoso, though, as they have tables that will seat groups of 12-24.
We bypass Nakama to come here. Great food, always an available seat without wait, great sushi platters. You can actually order sushi to go from here whereas you can't at Nakama's past a certain early hour. Plus free parking!!!!
the sushi was meh. nothing worth your time. also was a victim of my server's racial ignorance at the time of my visit. i will not be going ever again.
