I would have given this place 5 stars, but I really feel like their quality has decreased since it's gotten popular and I HATE it when places do that, so take THAT yogurt world! You only get FOUR stars! Don't get me wrong...it's still FRO YO HEAVEN, but it could be better!

You had the potential yogurt world, but you blew it!!

Taro flavor rocks!

My girlfriend came here with me to get me a late "birthday" yogurt since I love frozen yogurt. It was something I needed after all that crab I ate beforehand. We only came here because it's right in the same plaza as Crab Hut, where I went for lunch.

I grabbed a cup and got some california strawberry and strawberry tart yogurt flavor, I was disappointed they didn't have pineapple or pomegranate raspberry like Yogurtland but proceeded anyway to the toppings counter. The yogurt was really watered-down and very melty. It was terrible. I went to the toppings counter and the strawberries didnt' look so healthy. They didn't have white chocolate chips but "yogurt chips" which wasn't the same but I got it anyway. The lychee was looking terrible so I got the rambutan fruit instead. The mochi looks unhealthy and like it was going to melt together so I skipped it, which usually I don't since mochi and frozen yogurt goes really well together. The total came to $3.40 and I regretted every penny of it since my yogurt wasn't so great, watered down and terrible toppings.

I can say I won't come to this Yogurt place EVER again. Sticking with Yogurtland!

I take it back. I don't like this place anymore. They must have changed their "recipe" or something because the yogurt seems more "soft" and a little bit "watery".

Still got the most interesting flavors out there.

Yogurtland is still my favorite fro-yo place.

My expectations were pretty high for this place given the 400+ reviews.

Came here on a late Sat night - no line and not busy. Turnoffs include: (1) Styrofoam cups; (2) handwritten labels for flavors [and some levers weren't even labeled]; (3) 0.38 cents an oz.; and (4) froyo, topping stations, tables and floors were dirty. I definitely was not impressed with the physical features of this place. The froyo was not that great and melted pretty quick. Sorry Yogurt World, not a fan...

432 reviews on Yelp. Let's add one more. Or better, let's just add 4 stars because thanks to Julie S. Yogurt World was my first San Diego froyo experience and a good one right from the start.
I tried other places but this one still gets me. Okay, I'm the 'simple guy' by choosing plain yogurt and cherry topping with crumbles, and some chocolate once in a while. Writing this makes me realize that this combo rocks and I will actually drive there now.

I've been here a couple times and this location was where I actually had my first fro-yo experience here.

It was usually way too crowded for the time that my friends and I typically get fro-yo (after 9pm). I feel like the place is always overflowing with people who are coming in and out. In comparison, the Yogurt World and Yogurtland in Mira Mesa aren't really crowded at around the same time. Also, the quality isn't as great as Yogurtland. I felt turned off when I saw that different flavors were replaced with new flavors but the labeling was a simple, handwritten sign. Makes the flavor less attractive to me than others that may have the typed out signs.

I won't be coming back since it's out of the way and there are other locations that are way less crammed and where I feel like I can breathe.

Im completely in love with this place!! Anytime Im in the area I always go. I get the green tea and pile on the mochi. For about $4.50 I have enough yogurt to make me full and happy! :-)

Although the last 2 times I have been there they have been out of the green tea! Boooo!

No love from me: zero stars!

Are you fawking serious??!! Seriously???

When I heard about "Yogurt World," I was like for reals..."World?!"  Fine fine i'll try it. I was thinking it would be OVER the top but....as soon as I stepped foot inside, I noticed the ugly bowls. Two choices a bigger size with clouds on it and for a smaller size, it's a ghetto Styrofoam cup and they better be recyclable!  Also, I noticed the signage was even ghetto...with someone's ugly hand-written names of the flavors above the machines.  I mean come on people; image is just as important as the product they are selling.

This place was really ghetto and I would call this a "knock-off" because THIS PLACE straight copied "the competitor" as far as the lay out: bowls stacked at the entrance (but ghetto Styrofoam and cheap crappy artwork on the bigger bowl), nasty yogurt and sorbet flavors! Oh and their toppings were in little funky containers, dirty around the fruit and candy, so unappealing, I was afraid to add any topping. The only thing I ordered was pink lemonade sorbet with cherries. I know lame huh...I should of went to a sorbet shop.  Why are you even selling sorbet? Isn't this a yogurt spot? *SMH*  I've tried all the flavors and the only one that was edible was the birthday cake. I've even tried their version of "Taro" which is my absolute favorite and again I was super disappointed because it left an awful powdery and bitter taste in my mouth. Come on...mess that up too?

Seriously, Yogurt World....if you are going to imitate another competitor...step up your game and don't charge way more than the competitor, 38 cents an ounce? Dude, if the competitor increased their prices...I would STILL buy from them.  Its all about quality and appearance...duh! I would have been a little nicer if you didn't try to "copy" someone else. I wouldn't have had way high expectations.

This is why I NEVER buy knock off hand bags....yeah you're like that! Ugh =/

This is just a simple review, mainly because school tired me today.

PROS: Good Yogurt
            Nice Cashier
            38 cents an ounce

CONS: Not much space
            Plain Tart SUCKS
            No Yogurt card
            Hidden Toppings

Hidden toppings, as in they hid it inside some wall, which I couldnt even see.

A-OK

I recently moved to california and didnt realize how many yogurt places there were here in Socal.  Ive had frozen yogurt before but for some reason Yogurt world was one of those that stuck in my head. they have a pretty good variety with not so traditional flavors (ex.birthday cake)

The place is located in a busy parking center as this is the place to be among asian college students.  The best way to avoid the cramped parking is to park on the long street to the side of it.   Weekends and nights are usually crowded FYI.

Anyway prices are decent and they have a  fairly clean/kept  area inside to sit down and enjoy your desert.    I know theres millions of other places to get yogurt but give it a chance. You might find a random new flavor there :)

Happy cows, with a chance of runny yogurt.

The flavor selection here is pretty good. I mean, I can't complain when a frozen yogurt joint has a chocolate custard flavor that tastes like rich chocolate. My daughter chose the cookies and cream flavor, and I had chocolate custard, vanilla custard, and cookies and cream.

The topping selection is pretty good, but there are no syrups like Yogurt Lounge has. Still, there's a good selection of fruits, candies, and sprinkles.

A few bites into our yogurts, I asked my daughter how she liked her creation. She said, "Well, it doesn't really taste like cookies and cream. It doesn't have much flavor at all." I asked, "What does it taste like?" "Nothing, really," came the reply. Ah, the cute opinions of 5-year-old kids. However, when I reached my cookies and cream portion, I realized that she wasn't just cute, she was right! The cookies and cream just tasted like pleasant, frozen nothing. I kept eating it, because the texture was good, but yeah, the flavor was lacking. My vanilla and chocolate custard flavors were pretty runny; they ran and spread themselves out all over my other flavor.

The yogurt is $0.38 per ounce. To me, that's a little on the pricey side when I compare it to the solid, delicious yogurt at Yogurtland, where they only charge $0.30 per ounce.

Other reviewers are spot-on about the parking situation. I was there when it wasn't too busy, but even then, I didn't really understand the parking situation. I have a feeling that I could magically park my car at a 45-degree angle, hanging halfway off the roof of the building, and no one would blink an eye.

All in all, it's a decent place for frozen yogurt, albeit sometimes runny yogurt.

I went with the banana pudding & NY cheesecake yogurt with mochi mixed in. Pretty good for my first foray into Asian inspired yogurt. I don't know why I haven't tried before because my cousin lives by this stuff and usually follow her lead. Now that it was my first and can say that I'll be back. Just prolly not when the place is super packed.

Yogurt World is a small local chain of Fro-Yo shops to add to the growing plethora of frozen dessert specialty retailers spreading across the west coast faster than a California brushfire fanned by Santa Ana winds.

There are 3 locations of Yogurt World. Here on the Convoy Corridor of Kearny Mesa, on Mira Mesa in San Diego, and on the UCSD campus on Gilman.

It is a PYO Fro-Yo place (pour your own), which more of the newer shops are becoming due to the low cost of sales with less staff required and the high turnover rate possible, and the popularity of giving the consumer the ulitmate choices.

YW has 3 cup sizes: Large Styro Cup, Big Round Tub, and Effin Barrel Sized! (I am exagerrating here, but not by much!)

There are 7 machines spewing out 14 different flavors, which change often. There seems to be a proclivity for custard flavors, as there were 2 or 3 of those out of the 14, and I have rarely seen one in other places.

There are a couple of stations for the toppings between the Machines and the Pay Scales. (All PYO places have you pay by the Ounce, in this case, YW charges $0.38/oz) There was the Bulk Food type bins (sort of like Whole Foods bulk cereals) for the sprinkles and sweet toppings, and then the Salad Bar like "Table of Tubs" with more fruit and cookie-like toppings.

The fruit offerings were limited, but they do get kudos for Asian fruit toppings of Lychee and Longan. After all, 90% of the people who come in this type of place are 16 - 29 year old Asian girls and their boyfriends!

They have a fair amout of seats and tables to eat from.

This is basicaly a YogurtLand wannabe or knock-off, but with prices per ounces 20% higher. (Yogurtland is usually $0.30/oz).

If you want to open your own Frozen Yogurt place and join the spreading wildfire, follow these rules:

1. Follow young Asian women. Wherever they hang out, that is your preferred location.
2. Make it PYO and have at least half a dozen machines.
3. Charge between $0.30 and $0.40 per ounce, competition permiting.
4. Run it yourself and only hire a few young Asian high school girls to help out
5. Monitor High School girls freebee consumption!
6. Buy your toppings from Costco
7. Rake in the money!

Almost a 5 star... used to be. Then they went mainstream or something. Being shady on the yogurt quality foreals. I still prefer this place to many other places, but not gonna lie--Yogurtland has better mochi and is cleaner. The Taro here is better though. Creamy yogurt is a must, and they are watering it down, some. It's a shame. But I do still enjoy the perks of awesome Mango Tart, Tart Strawberry (because it's creamier than CA Strawberry), the way I can run back and forth from toppings to yogurt layers (which I can't do at YL) because I like my cereal on the bottom and in between, with fruit on top. The cereal gets to just the right sogginess when you're down there =) Strategic yogurt planning is a side job of mine. No Gummy bears in yogurt ppl, they just get really hard. And fruit needs to be on top, or might quickly freeze, too.

Yogurtland is .09 cheaper per ounce, too. That's swaying me... =/ Tuff times, yanno!

Yogurtworld was the original, so I'll still hold to it. But they better stop skimpin'!!

It's usually true that the first place you try a new food that you like will always be your favorite version.

Certainly, this is the case for me and tart yogurt.   I will accept that Pinkberry has a creamier mouthfeel at the expense of some tartness -- but the tartness is to me the most important part of the, ahem, tart yogurt experience.

Yogurt World offers three major advantages over many of its competitors:

1. Several more flavors, a ton of toppings, both of which have a lot of exotic asian flavors -- lychee, mochi, jellies and so forth -- in addition to the american standards most would expect.

2. Price.  Paying by weight will allow you as many toppings as you like.

3. Self Service! Pour what you want. Mix and match. Make use of the sample cups.  The only bottleneck is from your fellow patrons.

Granted, this location has terrible parking in the peak hours, and can be busy as heck.  The former has as much to do with YW as the strip-mall full of other niche businesses with large followings.  The latter, well -- it's just the quality, man.

Looks like Yogurt World is losing its quality.

I came to YW when it was still in its infancy and just starting to get popular among SD's Asian youth. YW was one of the original yogurt establishments with Korean flair when yogurt made its revival in the San Diego.

The yogurt was pretty good back then. Judging by the crowds that fill the inside and the kids that orbit the patio and parking lot, this place is making out quite well.

It's different now.

Either their yogurt machines are faulty or they don't know the ratio of mix to water, but all I know is that their yogurt is friggin' whacked!

The yogurt isn't as creamy as I remembered. It tastes watery and diluted similar to the texture of sherbet that's 9 months old. Dude, I don't want a icy!

My recommendation is either go to Yogurt Lounge, Yogurt Cup or just go any of the Pinkberry chains because their yogurt is consistent and tastes waaaaaaay better - nice and creamy as it should be.

I can't believe I didn't write about the yogurt that started me on my froyo craze. Initially I was blown away because I didn't know any better and though Golden Spoon was the shit (gag!). But now I know and plus it's always dirty in here, toppings all over the place and the tart is too cold and everything else tastes fake and it's expensive $0.38 an ounce! I'm used to $0.30 an ounce! So the ONLY flavor I like here is Chocolate Custard, that's it. Otherwise, I'll drive the extra mile and hit up Red Berry or Rockie's.

Oh yogurt world, DO ME IN MY MOUTH! Right now!
So many flavors, so many toppings, some shit about sunlight and happy cows.

I wish Yogurt World was a bit cleaner...but I still go for their delicious assortment of self-serve awesomeness.
Ask for the sample cups! Sample everything! So many choices! Oh and those "happy cows and sunlight!"

The hardest thing is creating the perfect combination of yogurt, fruit, toppings and syrup...SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!

ps. Parking sucks on this shopping center. It's always full.

I recently visited Yogurt World for the first time in ages. What's new? They have some nice looking cups now. They have some new flavors. I tried them. Meh. I tried to look for something that would rekindle the love I used to have for this place two summers ago.

I looked for my favorite flavor, Asian peach. It was nowhere to be found! Seriously? The one flavor that I always used to get is not even available anymore. Come on, Yogurt World.

Go to a Yogurtland chain. They're cleaner, they don't have people that like to judgmentally stare at you as you choose your flavors, and best of all, they have peach tart. Also, there's no element of danger while driving around to find parking among a bunch of people who seemingly did not ever learn how to park a car.

The yogurt here is pretty good.  I like how they have a wide variety of flavors.  I was a bit turned off when I walked in and it smelled like bleach.  I'm glad they clean the place but how is that smell supposed to make me feel when I want to eat something refreshing and fruity? The toppings were a mess.  When I touched one of the spoons it felt a little greasy. Gross!

The flavors have changed quite a bit in the past couple years.  I was always a fan of the pistachio (used to be a staple, now I can't find it) and of strawberry (ditto, can't find it), but they still have a great selection.  I'm not too much a fan of a lot of their newer flavors like birthday cake, or the new banana one, but that's not to say others won't.

As of now, I'm sticking to their tart flavors and just playing with the toppings.  The toppings is where this place scores big.  There's a vast selection, whether you want caramely pecans, a variety of fruit, granola, unhealthy stuff (i.e. oreos or reeses pieces), etc.  The variety puts a lot of other yogurt shops to shame.

Staff is always friendly, and the place is surprisingly clean.  I say surprisingly because it's usually so packed with people that I'm sure there's plenty of incidents with spills or just general wear-and-tear, scuff marks, etc.

Aside from my disappointment of their change in flavors, I'm still definitely a fan of this place.  I love how it's conveniently located near so many restaurants and shops that I'd be going to anyways, so meeting with friends here is always a treat.

It's still popular. Still good service. I see they take care of their restaurant.

... However, they just seem like they are making weird flavors now. I liked their old stuff - it was good. I think Yogurt World is trying too hard to beat its competition ... but if you ask me, I find that the classic flavors were better.

Also, I notice their yogurts getting more and more watery every time I come in now ...

I still go there. But I'm less of a fan now.

Yuck! This yogurt is icy. Its watered down icy crap! And the toppings always look gross here. So messy like none of the workers actually clean it.

If you like this yogurt concept, go to Yogurtland. Its cleaner, less crowded, and the yogurt is actually creamy. Plus Yogurtland is only .30c an ounce.

I think this is the wannabe hipsters hang out at. At least the underage hipsters. Its so dirty in here.

There was a time -- long, long ago -- when there were actually fewer fro-yo shops than people.  I believe it was called "two-thousand-six" or something to that effect.  Now there are fro-yo shops everywhere.  If you look closely, you can even watch them spreading their tentacles and eating up unsuspecting businesses.  Sometimes I can look around and discover fro-yo shops inside, above, or underneath existing yogurt shops.  I can barely walk outside my apartment without tripping on yet another fro-yo shop that has opened up in my next-door neighbor's coat closet.

Frozen yogurt is like an invasive species that will wreak serious havoc on your ecosystem.

San Diego wasn't always like this.  I blame you, Yogurt World.

Suuuuure, you think you're all innocent and cute.  What with your shiny plastic interior and scarily delicious 38-cents-per-ounce self-serve "tart asian peach" confections.  But I'm on to you.  I know that something evil is lurking behind your squeaky-clean facade.

Obviously, your natural response to the proliferation of fro-yo shops that has overtaken San Diego is the capitalist argument.  There was a demand, so you provided some supply.  But strange things began to happen!  Like zombies, EVERY SINGLE ONE of your customers came back over and over and over again.  They got sucked in, standing in long-ass lines and filling up Convoy St parking lots much to the detriment of the few remaining non-zombies.  You're not going to stop there, though.  You're going to keep brainwashing the populace until every last one of us has turned into a fro-yo zombie.

You're building an army.  But what is your sinister purpose?!

To keep spreading the fro-yo epidemic, obviously.  World domination comes next.

By 2015, there will be no more restaurants or supermarkets, only fro-yo shops.

I hope it still costs 38 cents per ounce, though.  Eating this shiznazz everyday gets expensive.  I'm afraid I won't have enough cash to survive the apocalypse.

Yogurt World - Kearny Mesa

I have taken on a quest of discovering the best yogurt shop in San Diego.  As part of this search, a friend told me that Yogurt World in Kearny Mesa is "The Original - the yogurt shop that started all yogurt shops in San Diego."  I definitely had to check it out.

Upon walking in I was initially impressed - they had the full range of flavors, the yogurt was only $0.38 an ounce.  I sampled the yogurts (they give free samples), and I made my decisions.  Like most self serve yogurt shops, they have only large and huge sized cups.  I was used to this, so it was no surprise.  I filled my cup with flavors, and then I went to the toppings.

The toppings, to be frank, were a little nasty.  They looked kind of old, and things were not clearly or consistently labeled.  They did have a large wall of "dry" toppings, like granola, sprinkles, chocolate chips, dried coconut, etc, etc, etc.  This looking moderately clean.  However the "fresh" toppings, such as the fresh strawberries, bananas, canned pineapple, caramel sauces and such were all kind of brownish.  The crushed up butterfingers kind of stuck together in clumps like it had gotten wet.  The snickers crumbs had been dropped into the oreos.

I continued onward, and I paid the tab.  It was reasonable.  The yogurt was pretty tasty.  I admired the shop.  It was also a little run down, like the toppings.  The walls were marred.  It was clean enough, though.

The walls boasted all the health benefits of yogurt - clears up acne, improves digestions, and so forth.  I inquired at the counter about the nutritional information; it was not available.  They gave me a website.  I looked it up; it didn't work.  They gave me another website.  I looked it up.  It worked.  However, I found out that not all their flavors are yogurt.  Some are ice cream; some are custard.  This doesn't bother me per se, except that because of the name of the store it is implied that all options are actually frozen yogurt.

The yogurts they sell are certified to contain live and active cultures.  They are moderate in sugar content.  Most are fat free or low fat (though the ice creams and custards are not).

I also noticed they have only one register, which I suspect is to create an artificial line.  This is a southern California practice to manufacture the perception of extreme popularity, and it drives me bonkers.

Overall, this place was okay, but needs to be cleaned, to be better labeled/informed, refreshed toppings, and a second register.

So of all the frozen yogurt places my cousin dragged me to while I was in Cali.. this was the most memorable one. What was memorable about it was the asian tart peach and green tea. Good Stuff! Mango was a bit watery. I don't remember pricing being too bad, but seating was definitely an issue. Place was packed with people inside and out. We ended up eating our fro-yo in the car.

I've been to a lot of yogurt places, since they were popping up everywhere and this place is just an OK compared to others. I always have the plain tart and like to try peach or mango if they have it. topped with fresh strawberries, mochi and a cereal - usually coco pebbles or frosted flakes.

the yogurt is tart, but ICY. Maybe the mixture wasn't fully done yet, but it was just too icy for me. :(

this place does get packed though, so swoop in when people leave and sometimes it's hard because this is a place people go to hang out .. maybe for hours.. even when their bowls are empty.

thumbs up: wide variety of flavors and toppings
thumbs down: too icy. no blueberries. LOUD music, and they replayed the same Chinese song in span of the 15 minutes I was there.

Neh. It's been nearly 2 years since this place opened, and while it is the original in San Diego, it is no longer the best. It has been surpassed by other cleaner, more spacious, and faster places. It is always a dependable place to get yogurt, but lines at night suck, and the parking lot design rivals the La Jolla Ralph's in failure. Also, there's never a free table or anywhere to hang out.
I'd go here or Yogurt Lounge if I'm around Convoy, but now that there are 50 places alone in La Jolla (not to mention to new YoWo on campus), it's not necessary to bear the pain of this location anymore.

If I can't get to Pinkberry, I come here.

Pros: cheaper, add your own toppings, you get more for your money

Cons: you buy more than you should, it gets really crowded with numb nut kids, the parking is retarded

You sacrifice a bit of the quality but it gets the job done when you need some late night closure without too much of the guilt.

Seeing the  pumps out in the open make me want to crane my neck undeneath the spout and dispense delicious yogurt straight into my mouth.  They don't allow this.  Well, I don't know for sure.  I haven't had the nerve to try or ask.  Maybe a legit baller who slips the attendant a fifty is afforded this repugnant fantasy.

At Yogurt World, you really are your own fro-yo systems engineer.  Grab a cup and get your swirl on.  Mix flavors;sprinkle as many candy and fruit toppings as you like, then feel free to be wild with their many syrups, just keep it in the container.  With the self-serve you can mix up a dainty batch, or be a decadent pig.   They charge by the pound, so be careful--you can get carried away in the froyo-stravaganza. A buddy of mine actually spent $11 plus on one cup.   Be smart about it and you're in for a real treat of your making.

I'm a repeat customer and as good as it is, I would like a few more fruit options, and though far from rank, fruit freshness could be higher.  Furthermore, I believe they are a victim of their own success.  Arrive at a busy time and it's like Old Mother Russia, long lines snaking out the door, but there's no ration card needed, just patience.  Their layout, in these times, doesn't accommodate large crowds well.  There aren't a lot of stations (I'm getting nit-picky, I know) and the toppings are tucked away and in hard-to-reach spots.  I'm told their second location in Mira Mesa has remedied said grievances.
All told, I dig this spot

I never thought Yogurt World was really that good, but after comparing it to other frozen yogurt chains, I think it might be the best. I came here for a recent visit and I realized the plethora of new flavors that they have. You can never go wrong with the pineapple. It reminds me of a Dole float for those of you who have been to Hawaii. I think my new favorite flavor is Acai. Can't beat that topped off with strawberries mango, and mochi. All that for under three bucks.

I realized with yogurt shops, I either like it or I dont.  And yogurt world falls into the "dont" category.

It's too grainy, it melts too quickly, and is too sweet ...

Plus, it's annoying when all you want is to get some yogurt and you have to painfully wait in a long line while hearing about 100000 college students chit chat/flirt/yell within 10 feet of you.

I can't remember the last time I came here... and I really don't care to go back... especially since there are other yogurt shops that are cheaper and closer to where I live.

Their frozen yogurt was pretty creamy and they had an interesting selection of flavors - not good, not bad, just interesting.

I was disappointed by the price (38 cents per ounce) and the variety of toppings - like someone else mentioned, not too many fresh fruits to choose from.

If they weren't so expensive, I'd probably give them 4 stars.  But that, combined with the limited toppings, I give them 3 stars.  They're yogurt seems creamier than Yogurtland but I'd stick with Yogurtland because of their flavors and toppings.

Your typical self-serve frozen yogurt place, where an Asian like me goes to be drowned in amongst millions of other generic yellow faces.

I generally measure the quality of a yogurt place based on their plain tart flavor, and while it was refreshing, it wasn't as flavorful or tart as Yogurt Lounge, which I consider to be the reigning champion.  It's not "all natural no sugar added" flavor, but more of a just plain watered down flavor.

On top of that, the place always seems to be dirty whenever I peek in there; while the Lounge and Land varieties seem to keep their stores relatively tidy and toppings well-stocked and clean, this place always seems to have toppings mixing with each other (ewww strawberries touching mangos!), and no one really caring much about that fact.

Overall, this place is ALWAYS busy, and the azn-style parking lot is one of the few accomplishments of my race that I really could deal without, so why not just save all that trouble and go to Yogurt Lounge instead?  Get a fro-yo, then head next door to Lolita's and get yourself a kick-in-the-balls good carne asada burrito!

YUM. I love this place. I like being able to make my own yogurt mixes... I like to add mochi balls, or granola.. or fresh fruit. :)

I really agree with Chad W. - I wish I could stick my head under the spouts. I have been sorely tempted to every time I noticed the cashier looking away.

The yogurt is icey, and the flavors are not spectacular.  The green tea was not very tasty.  But one huge plus is that they have mango jelly!  I don't see a lot of places with mango jelly.  I like the DIY part of it.

Also, I don't like getting kicked out close to closing time.  I've been to other froyo places around closing time and would sit to eat my froyo, and I've never been "reminded" that the place is closing in 5 minutes.

I love frozen yogurt, w/ TOPPINGS.  I had some at Yogurt World but I was not all that satisfied with the taste, the flavor seems to be inadequate.  Also, it suppose to be frozen yogurt not melted yogurt, it melts so quickly.

It was okay for then, but I wished it was better.

DANGEROUSLY UNSANITARY!!  You know how you get those free sample cups for trying the yogurt?  I watched an attendant CLEAN the bottom of the yogurt dispensers with discarded sample cups in the little trash cans located next to each machine (and she did it multiple times while I was sitting there eating my yogurt)!!  She even picked the whole trash can once to wipe the dispenser clean.  THESE ACTIONS PROMOTE THE SPREAD OF COLD SORES AKA ORAL HERPES!!!  (You know that gift that keeps on giving?)  Not to mention all the other crap floating around out there.  I will NEVER EVER go to this place again.

Aside from their uncleanliness, I"m not a fan of their yogurt flavors either, I like Tutti Frutti in La Jolla (on Regents) much better.
