Was in the area and lil guy was screaming for a snack as he was starving. Went in to get him a hotdog as the only other stuff they sold was ice cream and boba. The hotdog was pretty huge.... much thicker than your normal kind. I'm not sure what brand they used but it was salty as hell, not that lil guy minded as he loves salty foods.

For $2.50 it was reasonable I guess, but it was just too too salty.

They also sell little snacky items such as potato chips, candy etc.

Mommy bought me a hot dog from here. I was so hungry. I said I wanted a snack and there was nothing around so mommy said I could have a hot dog. It wasn't as good as a Costco hot dog but it was still good.

Cute spot in Little Toyko that sells boba, slush, ice cream, etc.  I had the watermelon smoothie and it was okay.  The drink is more sweet, and not really fresh and cool like watermelon.  I ordered it without boba but they added boba anyway.  The boba is better here than I've tried elsewhere, chewy but not very.  I would go back, but would order something next time.  Three and a half stars, rounded down.  This is a cash only place.

You would think that they would be more known for their ice cream...since cefiore is like right there. In actuality, neither their yogurt nor ice cream was very good. Instead I went for boba, and wow their little boba balls were so GOOD! A lot better than a lot of place in the Alhambra area which is....weird?!

This was a classic moment for me.

A bunch of us decided to convene after the infamous Ramen chowdown at Orochon for a post dessert celebration.

This was a tiny little shop at the Japanese Village Plaza at little Tokyo. It seemed to accommodate about 10 people or so as this picture can attest: http://www.flickr.com/...

We pooled our money together for everyone to get two scoops of ice cream each. You got love LA Yelpers...they work as a team and treat each other like family. Where else can you say that?

With my freebie two scoops I was able to get a scoop of Fosselman's taro ice cream and a scoop of green tea ice cream. Totally...totally hit the spot!

It never tasted so delicious after a hearty meal. Just look at the before picture of Judy W. at Orochon: http://www.flickr.com/... Then look at the "after" picture: http://www.flickr.com/...

That "after" picture reflected a sweet moment is the same sentiment which I never felt that way for an ice cream since Scoops. This is why it's such a classic moment to see someone going through agony like two of the people did, but only to recover for ice cream. Not just any ice cream, but Fosselman's ice cream!

Highly recommended if you are looking for an excellent ice cream joint.

1 scoop taro fosselman's ice cream
+
1 scoop red bean fosselman's ice cream
+
some clown brand sugar cone

= less than 3 bucks and a VERY happy judy

oh and they also serve snow cones and boba but i was too blinded by all the bright tubs of fosselman's they were serving.

:D

Q.Q for being cash only, but green tea, red bean, and taro flavors for cheap?  Asian ice cream mini-Heaven right here.  Gimme a double scoop on a sugar cone any day, a perfect way to end a meal after Daikokuya (free double-promo hey!).

I think the conversation went like this:

Aaron: "Now we have to race home to see who can get first review for this place"

Judy: "No way, that place has been reviewed a million times."

Aaron: "I doubt it but we'll see"

Cut to one hour later, Aaron gets home, changes and checks his yelp only to get a message that says something like: "You were right, but I got first review neener neener neener!!!"

Yeah so second review, but I give credit for introducing me to Fosselmans' Ice cream and to taro: the root that does it all!

Anyway tiny place with 12 flavors or so, and Boba... waffle cone was good Ice cream  tasty. Cheap. Close to work. A+

I am not normally a big Boba fan, but I felt a craving for something cold the other day, and since there was a line a mile long at Ce Fiore, I wandered over to this place.

At first I was going to get an ice cream, but then I saw Thai Tea with Boba on the menu and thought I might like that better. And... I did!

They blend it with ice to make it like a smoothie. Soooo good on a hot day.

Reaaaallllly good ice cream. Summer is here and luckily "Yogurt and Ice Cream" is as well. Wait that doesn't sound right. Thisplace seriously needs a new name, like "Bob's Yogurt and Ice Cream"??? Anyone? hello? It's just odd to say "I am going to Yogurt and Ice Cream".

Well anyhow, the Taro flavor rocks my socks as does the Red Bean. Double up and get a scoop of each in your choice or a cone or a cup. I'm a cup guy myself. Flavorful and Creamy just the way I like my... Ice cream.

a bunch of us yelpers ventured here after the SPICEY RAMEN EAT OFF 2007 to cool the tongues of the competitors and to get some yummy dessert. i had a scoop of taro and a scoop of green tea ice cream in a tasty waffle cone. it was heaven in my hand. sooo creamy. sooo tasty.... so unique. they also serve some boba and snow cones as mentioned before me, but i think i will stick to the taro goodness. i'll get my fix when i work downtown :) mmmm. taro....
