YOGA for the Soul was inspired by a love for God and a passion for serving Him through yoga. Many of us are not aware that yoga is a methodology, and it is not theology,therefore, it can be practiced by believers as well as non believers. Yoga is more than just postures. It is meant to be a union of our body, mind & soul. Unlike yoga practiced in many studios here in North America, the spiritual portion of YOGA for the Soul is based on Yielding On God's Authority. We believe He called us to Pray and Praise while we Practice and strengthen our body, mind and soul. At Y.O.G.A for the Soul we offer Yahweh Yoga style classes which means: The focus of our practice is Christ-centered. Our intention is to worship God through our postures as we meditate on His word and listen to uplifting music.He is at the center of our practice! My wife and I have been searching for a studio for some time now and everywhere we tried we never felt a true fit until now. Just ENTERING the studio we felt at home and VERY welcomed, there were smiles on all of the instructors faces and they were quick to introduce themselves. I have been going regularly for a month and sometimes doing back to back classes seeing results in such a short time, it is really motivating to see. Unfortunately Sandi, the owner, was in transition of selling the studio to one of her instructors but I was assured it would be run very close to the same in which I was accustomed...with a very strong Christ centered base and focus. I look forward to my journey here continuing forward.

I have tried a few different places and of course I have no complaints other then about myself, when I came to Y.o.g.a for the soul I was excited, nervous and after my first class my expectations were met and more. I felt welcomed, comfortable and over all relaxed more then I have ever imagined I could ever be. You are welcomed as a friend not as another number. This place is awesome and truly a blessing for my life body and soul!!

Love this place!!! This is exactly what I was looking for when I started my search for a place to join. I have never done Yoga before and Sandi is an excellent teacher. All the ladies in the class are so friendly and just as helpful. I plan on being a permanent fixture to this place.
