I love their Taro Tart and Yellow Cake Batter!! I love mixing them though my boyfriend always orders me to bring him the pure unadulterated taro tart. And I love how you can taste as many flavors as you want!
The only yogurt place I ever go to. I keep hoping they won't have to close down because it seems the difficult parking situation might discourage customers. -

My relationship with frozen yogurt has been tentative at best in the past. When I thought of frozen yogurt, I thought of places like Heidi's Frogen Yozurt where the novelty of eating yogurt that was *crazy* FROZEN was quickly replaced by the nasty taste of the over-flavored, over-topped concoction that, to my tender palate, always seemed like someone had added a hearty dollop of sour cream to my ice cream. Two great tastes that DID NOT taste great together. . .
Not any more. My eyes have seen the glory of the coming of a big, flabby gut fueled and fed by the concoctions being whipped up at Yog-Art.
After what may have been a couple too many glasses of wine at Wine Steals next door, Lindsay caught me in a weak moment getting me to agree to try *just try* some frozen yogurt. The 'free samples' sign on the door was enough to justify going in and, after all, it would only take one 'sample' for me to remember why I disliked cultures anywhere near my cream. Right?
The first thing I liked was the metro, neo-Tokyo look of the room. Cool LED lighting behind the counter. High ceilings. Uber-functional furniture. I started to get kinda sweaty and flashback-y and I realized that we were actually standing in the middle of what used to be the dancefloor of a "teen club" where I sometimes DJed - it was called Elements, it was shadier than an oak tree - and I immediately felt the need for a little something to cool my rapidly rising core temperature.
There is not an overabundance of flavors to choose from but what they have is heavenly. The day we went the choices were Plain tart *which I love since it actually embraces the tartness of yogurt rather than try to cover it with something fu&^ed up like peanut butter*, Honeydew, Lemon, and *massive drum roll* Taro. I tried the Plain tart and the Taro. I was changed instantly.
It takes a man to admit he was wrong but I was so, so wrong.
I indulged my senses like i hadn't since. . .well, since around the time I was Djing in this little Hillcrest location. Taro yogurt, pomegranate seeds, and lychee fruit was the concoction du jour. Linds had the Taro with coconut jelly and mango. Both were utterly devastating.
So devastating that we scooped up Evie for a trip the next day. We felt a little fiendish and picking up the kid was a perfect way to excuse trips to Yog-Art two days in a row.
And now I find myself sitting at work, shiftily looking at the clock, waiting for the minute when I can escape to Yog-Art for my daily dose of Nirvana. -

CORRECTION: Originally wrote the review for the right business, wrong address. So, Marwin and John, it's not another review of another froyo place. It's a C-O-R-R-E-C-T-I-O-N!! =P Unfortunately, this means I lose all my UFCs for the original review because you can't correct the location, once the review is written. That blows!

It's not like I'm making it my mission to try every fro-yo place in San Diego. It just happens like that. Yog-art is yogurt place #5.
The love? Good sized portion of yogurt. Shaved ice. Boba teas. I'm digging the variety this place offers. And, they got my favorite fro-yo toppings: Captain Crunch cereal, almonds and strawberries!!
The bad? Only one thing - it's not self-serve. I got spoiled at the other places, when it comes to being able to control my fro-yo to topping ratio.
Yes, I am anal like that! Bite me.
Alas, I will make sacrifices. Was here during Halloween with the friends. Enjoyed the fro-yo. Enjoyed the games that were available for play. LOVED all the people watching, with their fabulous costumes.
I would definitely go to this place, again. An easy walking distance from my cousin's place and the many restaurants, making it my new go-to spot for dessert, in Hillcrest. YAY! -

On a cold day like today, I usually want ice cream or some type of cold dessert...
So today, I finally went to Yogart (yay me!).
I got a spot right in front of the store. Made my way in and ordered my froyo with mochi! I had plain tart and it was sooooooo perfect.
Perfect texture, a good size portion, fresh fruit (they had perfectly plump raspberries), squishy mochi and it was so d'lish!
I wish they had blueberries but I'm so going back for more :)
** 11/13
I went there tonight and the honeydew yogurt is sooo damn good! I would say yogart and yogurt world are my top choices for froyo.
Yogart slightly more because they have raspberries and no other place does! -

Remember when you were a child and you would get excited to go to McDonald's just for the Happy Meal toys and the ability to play at the playplace?
This is why I love Yogart; I get to play Connect Four, Chutes & Ladders, UNO and other amazing games while enjoying a delightful treat that's actually good for me unlike MCD's. The pieces of artwork aren't bad to gander at either...hence the name yog-ART.
I drive over 20 minutes once a week to have Yog-art. I may have dullard-tendencies, but I am addicted to this fresh-made yogurt and think it's definitely worth the drive from East County to have some tart and toro yogurt with some fresh pineapple and strawberries. I prefer it to not be self-serve for sanitary reasons and they just make it look a lot appealing than I would. -

Brutally awesome!
The tart and taro tart flavors are orgasmic. Straight up coitus in your mouth. Much better than golden spoon, which is right across the street.
So cheap, so perfectly delicious. You're doing yourself a disservice if you have yet to get your ass here.Listed in: The Places I Go Out

Korean style frozen yogurt has officially arrived in Hillcrest, and its not a Pinkberry! In LA, these fro-yo places are all over the map, but they are still a novelty in SD. I've even at a few of them and what I've been able to taste at Yogart matches what the LA shops offer in terms of tart and fruity flavors and hip night-club lounge decor.
I've been waiting for this place to open ever since I saw the coming soon sign a few months back. I would pass it by on my way to the only decent Mexican restaurant within walking distance from where my bf lives. It finally opened last week and I had the opportunity to visit several times this weekend. Each visit, I was able to sample a flavor on rotation: blueberry, strawberry, lychee and peach. Flavors are subject to availability. So far, my fave flavors are lychee and peach. They also sell regular flavor and vanilla flavor, but when it comes to yogurt, its all about the fruit flavors for me.
The service is very friendly. Its a group of Asians in their 20's who started the business together. They are close friends that decided to do a joint venture. In the back of my mind, it made me think of Yelpers who decided to form a fro-yo biz. So kudos to these young entrepreneurs.
They are still figuring out their open hours, but so far Yogart is open until 10 PM, Monday to Thursday. Up to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. And until 9 PM on Sundays. The evening crowd is spill-over from the local bars and nightclubs.
I really like the decor. Very contemporary, but with an almost home-like vibe. Its probably because they encourage patrons to stay awhile and play board games. They also offer wi-fi access. Pinkberry will be opening a new location several blocks away, but I'm hoping Yogart will thrive in this part of Hillcrest. This particular store location tends to have a high turnover of tenants because its a very old building, but the owners of Yogart taken great pains to remodel their section of the building. It must have been costly, because they don't have the funds yet to have a permanent sign outside. I have finally found my neighborhood dessert place whenever I visit my bf in Hillcrest.
The only downside is that its street parking only, which can be challenging during a weekend night. -

I'm sorry Sarah S., but get a clue. San Diego's population has all kinds, including Asians, and just as the English like their tea, Asians like their food, too. I am not Asian. I just happen to like things outside of the narrow list of All-American fair.
Let me break it down for you, dear.
That "jelly crap" is called Mochi. It's jelly-goodness, and quite possibly my favorite topping other than the cereal options they have. It's not going to hurt you, I promise.
Taro root is an odd color but otherwise it's creamy, sweet, and delicious. Here are a few other roots that I have seen yogurt and icecream flavors for here in San Francisco, and they're also actually pretty tasty:
-ginger
-beets (mmm beet sugar!)
-ube
Taro is easily one of my favorite flavors at Yog-art. I am also a fan of strawberry, blueberry, and lychee.
And I happen to like the decor. It's bright and fun, like a trip to Ikea, except you don't walk out with random crap you don't need. The games and the movie screen make it a fun little hangout spot for all ages too.
I don't know why I'm so defensive. I really hate that someone would actually endorse the aggressive chain that just opened up across the street. Come on Yelpers. We're better than that. -
Review from Santi T.
When I'm in San Diego I check out the shave ice from Yog-Art. Even though they are known for their frozen yogurt, it's refreshing to have their Hawaiian style shave ice. There are two sizes, medium ($4.50+) and large ($5.50) which comes with three toppings. They shave the ice in the back and bring it to the front where you can select the toppings. They put condensed sweeten milk and with the toppings makes this dessert light and refreshing. On my last visit, I ordered the large with mochi balls, pomegranates and mangoes with mango syrup. Perfect dessert! The only problem I have is the parking. It was very difficult to find parking on the street during the evening.
I tried to return a few days later and they ran out of the shave ice! I thought you only needed a block of ice but they needed to reorder it?!? Okay, so I asked if their Northpark had it and unfortunately, they don't even offer it.
So if you're in the mood for the shave ice, try it and you might really enjoy it from frozen yogurt! -

Back in the day this place was called Elements and all you could get was twinkies in two flavors.
Now it's called Yog-Art and you still only have two flavors to choose from but I'm sure this creamy delite is much better for you the the old school version. I tried the taro with berries. The sweet/tart flavor was just what I expected. Yum-O!
Extra points for the games and free WiFi. -

I heart yogart. Seriously, it makes my heart sing for several reasons:
1)Sooo yummy. I thought three toppings was a bit much, now I know if you choose wisely, it's perfect.
2) Fresh fruit and captain crunch!
3) Cute, clean modern decor. Yes, I know it's all Ikea, but it works.
Michael Jackson videos being streamed via projector on the wall while I play connect four, while eating taro flavored fro yo with berries almonds and chocolate chips?Pinch me, I'm in love. -

I really like this place. Tart yogurt is still not my favorite, but they had a flavor here that distinguished themselves from places like Pinkberry: Irish Mint! It was the best mint-flavored frozen yogurt I've ever had. It was the ONLY mint-flavored frozen yogurt I've ever had, but still. It was perfectly smooth and creamy.
Toppings were about the same as everyone else, except they didn't have banana... and although I love me some banana, I think it was smart to not have it, since it turns black so easily. I don't think it would have gone that great with mint anyway... instead of my usual Fruity Pebbles, I used Coco Pebbles.
My favorite thing about this place is that they carry a variety of board games. We played Connect Four, Guess Who?, and Kerplunk! They also had Scrabble, Battleship, Mancala, Uno, and other stuff. It's very spacious, and feels just like a a teahouse. They do have some drinks and desserts.
Unlike so many other Yogurt places I've been to, the girls working here were friendly, helpful, and spoke perfect English. I was originally going to give this place 4 stars, but... it has Scrabble! Five stars!!!Listed in: My Favorites, Frozen Yogurt Fix

I'm not completely sold on Yog-art's froyo as of yet, but it's pretty good. The flavour selection is much smaller than, say, Yogurt World, but the quality isn't as high as Red Mango, which only has two flavours but are delicioso.
The yogurt's good overall, but I'm not going to sell my possessions in order to have it, if you get my drift. The location overall, is pretty cute, however. I like the brightness, the tables, and the boardgames scattered about. I got into a freakishly competitive game of Uno that ended in yelling and carrying on. Fortunately, most of the other patrons were understanding of my obsessive need to win.
Another plus: the playing of movies on the wall above the entrance. When i was there they were playing a DVD of all of Michael Jackson's hit videos. Something about eating coconut frozen yogurt while listening to "Thriller" and laughing at your friend who just found herself on the receiving end of your Draw Four card makes a night truly worth celebrating.
And that is why I like you, Yog-art. Your yogurt isn't lovable for me yet, but it's good, and the location kicks ass. -

i hail from the old school days of the ORIGINAL frozen yogurt. YOU know what i'm talkin' about: think tcby, penguin's. in fact in 1989, i had tcby chocolate with strawberries for dinner every tuesday and thursday night in my women's study course in college for one semester straight. so after all this time, this girl KNOWS her FRO YO, yo.
and so yes, at this point, i would sell my possessions for a daily fix of small plain tart with captain crunch berries. i. just. would. my babies love it too, (and that's huge, since they have been raised on frozen dairy of all kinds. name it. had it.) they dig the maple syrup and the dark chocolate. once we ventured over *shudder* to golden spoon, and the little one cried. CRIED i say! "noooooo, mama, noooo! yogart! please! yogart!" the kid is cuckoo for the stuff.
i also love how cool the kids are that work there. a bunch of happy kids walking around serving yogurt. i suspect they play connect four after they close, whilst watching pink on the big screen. how can you be bummed working at a place like that?
so go. GO ALREADY! -

Are you kidding me with this place? This place should be illegal. WARNING: it is highly...i repeat...HIGHLY addictive. I could eat Taro Yogart for every single meal every single day of the week.
The staff is incredibly friendly. You can sample every yogurt for free. (which I do, everytime I go even though I know I'm ending up with a huge cup of Taro yogurt for only $3.75) They play MJ on a big screen and they have Guess Who!!....what time is it? I think i'm going to go right now. -

So we were out tonight walking the dog. As we went by Yogart, things went something like this...
Me: I still want to try this place.
Her: Me too.
Pause as we stop outside, stare in like dumbasses, look at each other, look at the dog, stare in some more.
Her: Why don't you go in and see what they have? I'll stay out with the dog.
Me: I don't want to go in by mySELF...whine whine whine...
Her: Well, we've been standing out here looking like dumbasses, so we have to do SOMETHING. Just go see.
So I go in. And I tell the friendly helpful girl at the counter that I've not been in before. So she tells me about the place and offers me a sample. I get a sample of strawberry and take it outside...on the way out, I taste it and decide we must have yogurt immediately.
Me: Taste this.
Her: I'm taking the dog home and I'll be back in 2 minutes.
Literally everything about the place was good. Everything was spotless, including the bathroom. Service was helpful and friendly. Strawberry yogurt was tart and creamy and wonderful. Prices were good (a small - which is plenty big enough - with three topings is $4.50). The fresh fruit was perfectly ripe and tasted like it had just been bought from the Farmer's Market and cut up 5 minutes before we got there. Free WiFi. Kid friendly. P!nk concert DVD playing (but not too loud) via projection TV on the wall above the door (tough, hot girls and good music are good in almost any situation). Great board games.
The only way to make this place better in my opinion is to offer a kid's size...otherwise it's damn near perfect.

Update 11/19/07:
So far, every flavor I've had here has been my new favorite and even better than the one before it. First it was the strawberry. Then the peach mango. Then the honeydew. Then the blackberry... :)
Hooray for Yogart for making that kinda scuzzy part of the block into something wonderful...

I eat your frozen yogurt, I eats it up.
Chris made me come out and play. So I did. Little did I know that this would end up being the most white evenings to date.
The string of uberwhite events goes like this:
We rode bikes around Balboa Park we were wearing cutoff jeans and t-shirts. I in a Sleater-Kinney shirt with a tree on it (white indie rock and the environment), and Chris in a shirt featuring a retro picnic of sorts (retro and a childhood memory campiness). We were around the globe theater when I rode past this all fountain and was jumping down a short run of 3 steps. I landed wrong and flipped over my bars and bit it, gaining some cuts, gashes, and bruises. It was very Nepolian Dynamite lameass crash. My first accident in San Diego fortunately.
We rode down University and stopped in Yog-Art. Chris got some vanilla taro swirl and I went with just the taro. Yummerz!
Taking our snack outside to sit beside our bikes we noticed that a concert of Celine Dion was being projected on the wall. We found the board game Guess Who on a bookshelf and took that out with us also.
So here it was our little stuff white people like zen.
Dressing in very white clothing including T-shirts with artsy cheeky designs, Eating frozen yogurt in a gentrified gay area, there were some gay people and black people in Yog-Art (we hearted them), Sitting Outdoors on Ikea Furniture, While Playing an Ironic Boardgame, Celine Dion was Audible, We were on Biking, and I had a lame ass Nepolian Dynamite crash.
It was all too white. A PBR would have been the perfect finish.
Oh, and on the way home I stopped to check out whistlestop and it was bar trivia night.
All this whiteness is making my head spin. -

I love Yog-Art. I love them a lot. Even if they served bad yogurt, I'd probably still love them simply because the family that runs this place is really nice. But hey, guess what? It just so happens that the yogurt here is really, really good, and the fruit toppings are top notch. The mango can be a little overripe at times, but 93% of the time the fruit is gold bar.
True, the toppings are slightly overpriced, but they sell quality products and I'm sure rent here is expensive and I will gladly support businesses like Yog-Art.
The service here is quite good, too.
Last, The Golden Spoon is a yogurt place that just opened up across the street, but they are nothing special. They serve typical, super sweet yogurt with average, run-of-the-mill toppings. The kind of yogurt we are familiar with yet we grew bored of. -

I admit it...I am a pinkberry snob. Pinkberry was the first "tart" yogurt that I ever experienced and now every new city I am in I search for the tart yogurt goodness.
I mean...its so bad that I cannot have ice cream or regular frozen yogurt. All I want is that tart wonderful yogurt.
I love yogart. Most places I go to are average at most. This place was great! Their original is super yummy and creamy and they had a wide selection of toppings (including pomegranate seeds..which I had not seen at a yogurt place before....yum!!!)
As an added bonus....they have free wifi and a bookcase full of games. I did not play any today...but I could see that being dangerous.
"Oh honey, yeah....I am just going to go hang out at yogart today"
I could see myself spending way too many hours here and way too much money on yogurt.
Good thing I am only in San Diego for a month.
Anyone wanna place bets on how many times I will be back. Lets see...30 days in San Diego...um....I am guesses it will be in the high teens (at least!)...we will see!Listed in: On Tour!!

Used to be a hip hop shop. But I guess yogurt can change a man!
Very pretty and clean. Looks like the inside of an Ikea ... perhaps that has something to do with the furniture. Those chairs are not comfy. But, there are sofas!
The lighting there is excellently toned. They spent some time designing where light would hit, achieving great balance. It shows. Good job.
I had the jasmine milk tea with boba. The very polite and cutie owner gave it to me on the house because I was helping with a music performance. Very very tasty, mixed just right.
They have games, WiFi, books and other readings. This is a slick spot for a date. Mark it, dude. -

I LOVE this place! I have been to Yogurt World, and I think Yog-Art is a better deal. I love me some Mochi on my tart yogurt, and they will hook it up here... piling it on. MMMMMmmmmmochi! They even have a BOGO and a 1/2 price coupon in the Uptown/Downtown coupon mags.

Weird. Just weird. Taro yogurt? I think its tartness would be better on a hot summer day, as opposed to a cold November night. I ended up getting the irish mint yogurt with cookies and, although it wasn't what I was craving or what I expected, I left happy. The guys at the counter were friendly and generous with samples.
It was pretty cheap for a large serving with a topping. (Oh yeah, all sorts of atypical froyo toppings!)

This place is so cool because it's all fun and colorful. They have a bunch of games you can break out and play while you have your yogurt, smoothie or boba drink. They need a new "Guess Who" game. I was really looking forward to playing it but it was all missing stuff and busted up :( Damn lol.

CREAMY tart yogurt that rivals my personal favorite (Dolce Freddo). The differences include:
Yog-art has sweet as well as tart flavors (bonus), fun games to play (everything from "fact or crap" to "connect 4"), and videos on the big white wall (last night was Justin Timberlake live in concert!). Downside is that their couches are FILTHY! I didn't even want to go near them cause it looked like somebody dumped their entire large fro-yo on it, rubbed it in, and then left it there. Ugh.

They have more toppings, more freshness, and an awesome location near other great places to eat and walk around. I love the atmosphere and it is a great place to meet friends, take a date, or just treat yourself to some people watching and artful yogurt!
I think the only way this place could get better is if they added some new flavors. -

I don't care how popular Pinkberry is...I will always be true to Yog-art. So far I have sampled, and loved, tart mango, strawberry, taro, vanilla, honeydew, chocolate, dulce de leche, butter pecan, peanut butter....and probably some others I forgot to mention. The fruit toppings are super fresh and the service is sublime.
In the evenings, you can even watch cheesy 80's music videos projected onto the front wall. If you are over the 80's music scene, but still have a penchant for childhood games you're in luck! They have a host of toys to play with in their cupboards including Connect 4 and...well...that's the only one I know of because that's what I play every time I go. -

Am I the only one not on this bland trend of frozen yogurt?
I have a few concerns about this place:
Since when have roots been an acceptable form of ice cream?
Why does it look like a plastic nightclub?
And what the heck is that jelly crap that jiggled at me when I tried you?

Unlike some of these other mod yogurt up places that have like two flavors...green tea and baby toe or something...this one actually had a decent selection. I had Cheescake flavored with Cap'n Crunch on top. A nice tart/sweet combo.
They have board games and such but the cold environment doesn't make me feel relaxed or want to hang in there for extended periods. And the parking....no their problem but Hilcrest's in general. -

YUM! The Green Apple tart yogurt is incredible! And the girls who work here are so nice. I am so happy that this place is in my neighborhood!
Everything I have ever had here is fantastic. The plain tart is bomb. The taro is even better. I can go for taro flavored yogurt any day of the damn week. Sometimes I'm feeling a little crazy and I'll get Cap'n Crunch or Fruitty Pebbles on top. And then sometimes I'm feeling mellow and I'll get some fresh fruit. It's all here, and it's all good. And I like the fact that they changed it to self-serve, since I am picky about my portions. Bravo!
But it is completely insane that this place has to compete with the weak-ass corporate yogurt schmucks across the street. Why on earth does Golden Spoon have a line out the door while Yog-art has to drum up business by practically giving their stuff away? I hereby call on all my fellow Yelpers to support the locals, support the underdogs. The last thing that we need in this world, certainly in this city (run amok as it is with Starbucks and Target-filled shopping malls) is another corporation that barely cares to put out an independently-owned shop whose business is being stolen from them. Go to Yog-art! Boycott Golden Spoon! (I know that's never going to work but you can't blame me for trying.) -

This is the worst yogurt in SD! We recently moved to the area and are trying all the yogurt place. The flavors are terrible here and all taste the same.
I also ordered boba tea, something I do quite frequently, and the bobas would not fit through the straw. I've never had that issue before, but then I heard the person next to me complaining about the same thing.
If you want to play board games, come here. If you want quality yogurt, go elsewhere. -

Board Games! Including Guess Who!!
Three stars because they don't have non-dairy frozen yogurt. What's up with that!?! Aren't most Asians lactose intolerant?? Don't they know that there are a ton of vegans in Hillcrest/North Park.
Fortunately the Boba and other "milk" teas are all non-dairy. UNfortunately, they ran out of Boba when I went last week, and I had to settle for a weird jelly drink.
Also, who is the guy who greets people at the counter but claims to be unable to take an order or serve up a drink or yogurt?? It's not rocket science. Also, the drinks take a really long time for them to make.
This place has great atmosphere, but it seems like the owners didn't put much thought or effort into the service aspect of it. I'm confident that will improve.
Probably good for http://match.com dates. -

As pinkberry copycats go, this place is good. Expect the same flavors and toppings as pinkberry. I really liked that they had a small w/ 3 toppings combo for under $5 because a lot of these places don't keep it so economical. I got the plain yogurt (nice and tart without any powdery texture) with mangoes, strawberries, and mochi (of course). The fruit was ripe, but the mochi not as chewey as I'm used to.
It's a nice place to hang out. Lots of seating and they even provide board games. The pop music videos projected onto the front wall are random but add to the fun.
I would definitely go back for the fro yo and to hang out. -

I swear I'll never get this frozen yogurt trend. Granted, this place is better than most that I've tried and the people working there are a lot more friendly than most place, but I still cant get into frozen yogurt. The raspberry is somewhat tasty, but the taro is definitely an acquired taste.
The price is okay and they gave me a little larger than the size I ordered which is cool. Had to sit by the window though because I couldn't stand the look of this place. WAY overboard with the Ikea look and feel to the place. Also wasn't amused by the person sleeping on the couch. WTF? Take your ass home if you're trying to catch some Z's. The service - no disappointment either.
I especially enjoyed all the games they have for you to play while you treat yourself. Board games galore, a deck of cards, and that Connect Four game too! It's on this shelf display on the right side facing the back of the store.
I try to go whenever I'm in Hillcrest. -

This is it. I'm NEVER going to another yogurt place again. I justed chatted with one of the owners, and I love everything about this place: from the business ethics, to the great yogurt with fresh toppings, to the decor and the boardgames.
Thank the yogurt heavens that Yog-art is in my neighborhood.Listed in: Great eats in San Diego

Hip atmosphere. Check
Friendly staff. Check
Yogurt and boba OK. Alright, maybe frozen yogurt isn't my thing and that's not that their fault.
Still, it's a cool place to wind down after a night out drinking or play a friendly game of Scrabble. -

This place is holds the number one spot for all frozen yogurt places to me, and is truly in a league of its own. Let's start with the yogurt itself. It's smooth, creamy, and light. If you get a tart flavor, it really does taste tart like yogurt, but without being overpowering. If you get a sweet flavor, you get a sweet and creamy treat, but it's still too sugary for my personal taste (I'm a tart girl all the way). The texture, quality, and amount of yogurt given is all top notch. The toppings are amazingly fresh! How do they always have such ripe mango everyday?! I get mango there all the time and it has never been too sour or green. And at Yog-Art, they don't skimp at all on the toppings. In fact, you sometimes end up with toppings left over at the bottom of the cup.
On top of all this greatness, they make a boba tea that I would rate way up there next to Sam Woo. Why you ask? Because they actually brew the tea instead of just using powder, and the boba is cooked to a deliciously chewy consistency.
Now here's where Yog-Art steps it up - the atmosphere and the people. The owners and the employees are the nicest, coolest people, always smiling and taking the time to chat. There are tons of board games to play, or you can just hang out on comfy couches. Display of local art and photography is a plus (gotta support the local artists)! And the best part, the projector! Sometimes it's Justin, sometimes it's Clapton, and sometimes it's even Charlie Chaplin projected onto the wall. Either way, it's consistently a good experience at Yog-Art for all the senses.
