We ordered the szechuan beef (on the lunch combo) and the shrimp with lobster sauce, also on the lunch combo. This comes with fried rice and an egg roll. Both meals were very good.
The szechuan beef was very tasty with a good spicy seasoning. There were ample amounts of fresh beef and the soy based sauce was excellent. The fried rice was also good. The egg roll was not to my liking - I am accustomed to the NY style which has more shredded vegetables. These were somewhat soggy with little vegetable filling - this may be a regional preference.
The shrimp/lobster sauce was also good - quality shrimp and a tasty sauce that had the proper thick consistence.
Based on this positive experience I will retry whenever I get the urge for Chinese. There are very few Chinese restaurants in the miami area. I have been to two others so far, both mediocre. -

Ordered take out, right away I know everything would be good because the sauces like Szechuan tofu are not typicaly heavy and sugary.
LOVE their authentic Chow fun with black bean sauce, but wish they used fresh noodles and not the dry type as used in Pad Thai.
Everything was fresh, hot, and delivered quickly by an old chinese guy, may be Yeung tryin to get out of the kitchen for some air?
Reasonable $ for Miami beach, get the menu, lots of take out coupons.
Real chinese, spoke Mandarin, they always love connecting even with an American "banana" like me. (Yellow outside, white inside) -

After happy hour at Carrabbas Tikki Bar (at the Marriott Courtyard), my wife and I decided to stay in the last night of our mini vacation in Miami Beach.
Tonight I placed an order at 8:22 PM: BBQ spare rib dinner combination, Szechuan Beef dinner combination and a side of chicken wings.
I received a call at 8:31 PM. The delivery boy was downstairs asking me to come down and pick up my order (hotel rules).
WTF? I easily spent a minute on the phone placing my order. 8 minutes? Holy crap. This was the fastest delivery I ever received.
The prices were equivalent to NY prices and the taste was standard.
This puts new meaning in fast food and service. Dominoes pizza needs to learn from these folks.
FYI, the menu has a sticker saying:
"We are moving to: 325-71 Street, Miami Beach."
Not sure when this is happening.

First off - they have moved to 71st street and are operating as East Ocean.
Good things: They deliver to the MiMo area, in this case Biscayne and 81st street. The food was very good Chinese Takeout. Not too greasy, lots of flavor and reminiscent of NYC takeout with similar pricing. We had Mu Shu Vegetable, String Beans with Garlic Sauce, Eggplant with Garlic Sauce, Beef with Broccoli, Mongolian Chicken and BBQ Ribs. The Mu Shu was the best dish, with the String Beans being a close second. all the food was exactly what we wanted.
Bad things: The delivery took over an hour, which we knew might be the case, and, after we called, the restaurant called us back and said that the delivery guy had been trying to call, even though that was an obvious lie. Then when the delivery guy actually got there he was extremely rude and we actually had to go downstairs and get the food from him which was totally wack. I noticed on the delivery ticket that it said *new customer.* Presumably they would put that so that delivery man would at least be cordial. We called them and let them know what happened.
Hopefully they tighten that ship because if they did, they would have an excellent cheap, not-too-greasy-but-not-too-fancy chinese restaurant on their hands, which the neighborhood sorely needs. -

Best Chinese food on the beach. I have to drive all the way from 5th and Ocean (South Beach) to get this since I refuse to eat bad or overpriced Chinese food. This is my goto place if I'm not in the North Miami Beach area (163rd).

Yeung's is quality Chinese food at very reasonable prices. Their take-out service is very, very speedy (but not so much their delivery service).
The egg drop & hot & sour soups are both very good. They have good-sized lunch and dinner combinations that are less than $10 (and come with soup & fried rice, and an egg roll with dinner). The menu is huge - mainly because they have the traditional Chinese food options, but also a huge selection of "Cantonese" selections. Everything always sounds delish, but I tend to usually stick to my faves - mu shu, kung pao, hunan, and szechuan.
They've had a sign up for a while saying that they're moving to 71st St, and a week or so ago when I asked when that was happening, they said in a couple weeks. However, they did mention that they would still deliver down to the 41st St area - thank goodness!
UPDATE: As of 4/27/08, Yeung's has officially moved to their new 71st St. location, and has been re-named East Ocean. -

This place--which for many years housed Fu Man Chu--is now called East Ocean.
The food is typical East Coast Chinese takeout. Despite the wonderful decor, don't expect much more. All the chicken is white meat, so that is a plus.
The chicken with two delights (bamboo and mushroom) is very good. The Szechuan Tofu is so-so, unless you like mushy tofu and previously frozen vegetables. -

Great food! I especially loved the Mu Shu pork and the beef brocoli. The Mu Shu pork had a great savory flavor and the tortillas came out perfectly. The beef in the beef brocoli was incredibly tender.

after spending the day in south beach, we were really hungry and we wanted something fast and cheap. this was a walk from our hotel but it was worth it! there were 5 of us and we all order different things. the place is clean and better than most chinese places i've been to. the food was very fresh and the chicken was crispy like it was just made! we went there twice because it was so awesome! highly recommend if youre in north south beach area!
