Great event! All the stars are for the great service at Quartino, and the cuteness of the waitstaff. And the Bellinis! I'd come back for those alone. Delish!

The appetizers . . . sadly . . . I was underwhelmed. The veal meatballs needed salt, or flavor, or . . . I dunno. The polenta sticks - I thought were mozzarella sticks, so there was a bit of a mealy moment while I realized "oh, polenta, not cheese.". The bruschetta . . . too piled high, hard to eat without the whole thing fallin' apart. The pizza . . . mmmm . . . the pizza was good, but a tad greasier than I expect at a place like this. Yummy crust, though, I'd go back for the 'za.

OVERALL, love the interior design of the restaurant (which, for me is a huge part of dining out), the fabulousness of the servers, the COOL bathroom and the great location. This will all drive me to give this restaurant another chance for sure. And the bar looked SUPER COOL.

And all the Yelpers I talked to, established OR minty-fresh new, were vivacious, sassy and super cute!

Thanks to everyone for coming out for bellinis and delicious appetizers at Quartino last night!  And  a HUGE thanks to the staff at Quartino- boy are they on top of things over there...they were still serving me pizza and bellinis as the party ended!  And of course I can never say no to pizza and/or bellinis!

Feel free to review the party at Quartino here...

Hope to see you all at the next event!

Be sure to check out photos (thanks to Dan G for taking these) from the event as well:

We had a great seat by the buffet and the bellini bar, but the only downfall is that we didn't hear the raffle announcements.  The pizza was delish and we kept on eating more of it - the sausage pizza was a bit bland and I was disappointed by the polenta fries - my group thought that they were mozarella sticks.  The meatballs are decent.

Music was good and loved the bellinis!

As my first ever Yelp event (an elite event nonetheless), I had a lot of fun. It was great to truly put faces to names from the talk threads and awesome reviews. Everyone was so nice and welcoming to a newbie elite Yelper event goer.Andrea W. was very cool and kept it nicely organized letting me know where the food and the alcohol was.

When I first entered, I headed straight to the bellinis and got a piece of pizza from a server. The servers were working like mad to keep up the rush of Yelpers going for free alcohol. The bellinis were yummy and how champagne and peach puree should be versus some bad college experiences with champagne and schnapps. After getting my alcohol, I headed to the appetizers. The small spread was nice with brushetta, polenta, and meatballs. I had the polenta most often. It appeared to be mozzarella sticks, but was polenta. It was decent, not terribly memorable. The pizza was good. I'll go back for the pizza and bellinis. The brushetta was okay as well.

Overall, I had a wonderful time meeting Yelpers like Christiana, L.A.M.B, Bianca, and others to name a few. After this event, I'm definitely going to go to more events because it was a lot of fun, good food, and good conversation.

I always enjoy my Yelp events. I'm special that way!

Service definitely gets the high marks for this one. The servers and bussers were on their A game, passing food and picking up after us. The teeny bellini glasses meant a lot of trips back fro refills, but the bellini master was very cool and good natured about it. The meatballs were good and constantly restocked. The pizza, for me, was nothing special.

I liked the layout of the party area -- lot of different areas to congregate in. The room wasn't packed, and I fear it's because too many Yelpers didn't show up and didn't cancel their RSVP in time. Which is too bad for those on the wait list.

It seemed to be a more laid back party than some of these events. Dan Gin accused me of not being the life of the party, but I was doing my best! But it was nice to be able to hear what people were saying for a change, and I got to meet some new (to me) people, such as L.A.M. B. and Christiana S. I even abused some of Christiana's friends for good measure.

Great party, delicious food, and, as always, lots of great people to talk to! The service was on point. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because so many people left early. It's their loss!
    Thanks Andrea!

This was our first Yelp event and it was a little intimidating.  We just sat back and watched the crowd for a while and tasted all the food.

We tried a few of the bruscetta, the meatballs and the pizza.  We REALLY liked the pizza.  The bellini bar was great, who doesn't like free drinks?  And free good drinks, even better.

The service was fantastic, from the hostess out front to the servers and bartenders at the event.  I love getting great service, it makes dining out worth it.

Music was a bit loud for me, but overall I think the event, and Quartinos, was great!

The event itself was a blast: great bellinis (although I heard the bellini server was very selective with his friendliness), fun meeting other Yelpers and great take-home items!

I was a little sad about the food, though.  I did like the polenta sticks (which many people, including myself, initially thought were cheese sticks) and the pizza, but the food wasn't really as good as it usually is when you actually dine at Quartino.  Maybe it has something to do with being prepared in bulk, but it just wasn't  on top of its game.

The upstairs room was pretty; I liked the openness as well as the little nooks here and there where you can hide, but the air could have been blasted a bit more.  I guess that's what you get when Yelpers just want to have fun -- a packed, sweaty house!

The missing stars are really for things about Quartino and not the event itself.  Over all, this was great time.  Can't wait for the next one!

The Bellinis were amazing.  Kind of like mimosas, but with peach instead of orange juice.  I'm not a big drinker, but I could have had several more than the three I enjoyed (since I had to drive myself  home).

I was dismayed to find out I ate veal meatballs.  Yikes!  The poor baby cows!  I've felt crummy about it all day!  I know they were free and all but some signage might have been nice.

Here's a clever video about veal my son showed me:

But aside from that, it was nice to visit with the ever-friendly Yelpers and to meet the impressive Andrea W.

My first Yelp Elite event! Had a great time with the bellinis and appetizers. So good. I wish there was more bruschetta to go around, though! Can't wait 'til the next event, and hopefully I'll get a chance to talk to some of you then.
