Came here for an extended work conference, and had the pleasure of staying at this "resort" in the middle of winter. Sure, this place could be beautiful (for golfing) without all the snow and ice, but, overall, the lodging is just your average camp-like, grandma-adorned room.
The one thing I particularly didn't appreciate was the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere, literally nowhere. You are stuck with food from their cafeteria. They do have a "Pub", but it's the same cafeteria, same food they serve during the day. Overall, food was as good as you can expect from a conference, and nothing worth writing about.
If I ever am in the area on a nicer day, and feel like driving 3 hours from Chicago, I MAY visit. or not.
