I love this little boutique. I was out doing some marketing for my job when I saw this little shop.... and went in "just to look" and saw the cutest necklaces for my sisters bridesmaids... but she has 4 bridesmaids and they had only 2 necklaces.... so.. the sweet girl behind the counter called the owner and she located 2 more... Now all my sister's bridesmaids can wear the same thing and a little pre wedding catastrophe was stopped!
They have the cutest clothes at really really reasonable ( ie:cheap) prices and I found my new place to shop! -

I loved this store. I really did. Every time I was in the south bay and had a day to go shopping I would come here. The clothes are cute and inexpensive, but note I said inexpensive, not cheap. You don't expect the clothes to break on your way out the door, and you DON'T expect that they won't allow an exchange on it!
I bought a sweater that was about $38, and I know for some that's not a lot, but it was a small cute frivolous sweater that me, a poor graduate student, really had to think hard about before buying. Anyway, I get it home and decide to wear it out, so I take off the tag, put it on, grab my keys and when I get to the car I notice BOTH little pockets with the cute little ribbons had started to come apart. So i went back in and changed and the next day I had off (5 days later) I went back and asked to exchange it, but they wouldn't accept the exchange!!
Apparently since I'd taken the tag off I must have worn it out and then ruined it and then my lying cheating ass tried to return it. Thanks. I really appreciate being made to feel like I'm an unethical criminal when trying to exchange YOUR defective product. Also, say I had worn it out. Its not a "going out and having a clothes ruining night" kind of sweater. Its a meet your mom for lunch, toss on at the office, wear to class kind of sweater. If it had FALLEN APART during those activities, in less than 5 days, then its obviously a defective sweater and should be replaced.
I understand they have a policy but I would also expect that they would respect their customers not to sell them defective products. My time and money are precious to me and I'm not going to waste them on a place that doesn't respect their regular customers. I guess the good thing is now I can save some money on cheap clothes I don't need.
PS There's a new store up Pier that's selling organic clothes and seems really cute. Maybe check that place out first. -

The mannequin displays always catch my eye when I walk up the hill on Pier. They have a great, well-rounded selection of clothing AND accessories compared with similar boutiques in Hermosa that seem to focus on one or the other. Their inventory seems to be frequently updated in this tidy and well-stocked store. Another local favorite.

This store is adorable. It always has cute tops and dresses. I visit the store at least once a week ( they get shippments twice a week) because it sucks to hear we sold out. They sell out of the small and mediums quick and last time I was there I spotted the tennis player Sharipova shopping ( that was pretty cool)

the dangerous part is I pass by it everyday to get home. They get great stuff that easily sells at other boutiques for 3 to 4 times more! Yari picks very class and fun clothing and accessories and I love the girls in there. I don't go to the mall anymore which basically means I almost have all their pieces already. Amazing dresses and tops from $30 to $45!! Very reasonable. I saw the same dress at Ledas in Manhattan for 2 times more than Yari was selling it -- I will always be loyal because of that! also their inventory is always new and limited so you don't get 20 people wearing the same thing! Thanks Yari!
