Yamaguchi Nursery was recommended by a friend of mine who used them at her wedding and she assured me that they were the best... and they were!! Everybody was so accommodating and really worked with us to create beautiful arrangements within our budget.
About a month before the wedding we met with Ron and made up a mock bouquet and centerpiece so that we could see what everything would look like and were able to make changes on the spot to ensure that we got everything we wanted. Everything looked great at the trial and even better on the day of my wedding. I couldn't believe how beautiful the actual centerpieces looked at the reception; I couldn't stop staring!

I cannot even begin to describe who happy and thrilled I was with the flowers they did for my wedding. I will admit that this place seemed a bit out of the way for my Santa Barbara wedding, but I'm soooo glad I found this place.
Yamaguchi has been in business for a long time, they grow their own flowers, and Suzy was amazing to work with. She has an incredible personality, and within minutes of meeting with her I knew she was the one I wanted to design the flowers for my wedding. She was really able to work with my colors and theme, and she had great ideas for things I never even thought of.
When the bouquets arrived on my wedding day I was so happy with how lovely they turned out. Everything was beautiful, the alter arrangements, centerpieces, cake flowers, bouts, I also had her bring the runner and flower petals.
I 100% recommend Yamaguchi Flowers for a wedding or other event. I really got more than I expected with them.Listed in: My Santa Barbara Wedding

Yamaguchis did the flowers for my wedding and they did an incredible job! They captured what I wanted immediately and I got so many compliments at the wedding. They also did it for a tenth of the cost of other florists.

Yamaguchi did a great job on the flowers for my wedding and to decorate my wedding cake. They were easy to work with and very competent. You should make an appointment, as the wedding people may not be there if you drop in. I came back and I'm glad I did. Ron was very easy to work with. He set me up with tons of magazines and pictures of other events, plus post-it notes and notepads so I could make notes. He didn't bug me but gave me feedback when I needed it. When I wasn't sure how the flowers would look, he brought out different flowers in my colors, so I could see the differences. I asked to take a couple with me at the end, and he made a huge bouquet for me, no charge, so I could have them at home and look at them.
They delivered the flowers on time, they stayed within my budget, and when I needed one last extra boutonniere, they threw it in at no charge. They also worked with my cake designer so I could have live flowers on the cake. Yamaguchi was recommended to me by several people, and I would definitely recommend them to others. They were the easiest to work with of all my wedding vendors. -

Susie is the best!!! I got married last weekend and really enjoyed working with Susie. She is an expert in flowers, and has many great ideas. She is easy to contact and makes you feel relaxed and worry free. I think the flowers were so beautiful and Yamaguchi Nursery really made my wedding look beautiful. Thank you so much. I would send anyone who is getting married in Ventura county here.
