Xtreme Indoor Karting
2 reviews for Xtreme Indoor Karting
Fear is not an option. I don my head sock, pop on my helmet and Vrrrrm! Vrrrm! I race my engine and put the gas pedal to the floor leaving my competitors to suck on my exhaust.
Opponents----today the track is mine!
This is not your kids go kart or the ones you find at Boomers or Disney. These little suckers zip up and down the track up to 45 mph, which feels a heck of a lot faster when you are twisting and turning around tight turns and have other drivers breathing down your neck.
To say that it is fun is an understatement. Go with a group and have a blast. Ladies come here with closed toe shoes, otherwise you won't be able to race. Also, make sure your done racing when you take that drink to victory at the full bar. Once you drink at the bar you are not allowed back on the track for the rest of the day.
I happen to work close by, so I buy the yearly membership for $50, which gives you an 8 min. session, head sock, id, discounts, and an additional 8 min session on your birthday.
See you on the track!
This took me right back to being 8 years old when I got my go-cart for my birthday. The karts are quick, the course is simple enough for those who don't have experience on a race track, and a hell of a lot of fun for those who know how to handle a steering wheel.
They have food and a full bar (bar after you finish carting, because they won't let you back out). The food is a little better than bowling alley food, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to grab something to eat before hand.
This is great for birthday parties when you are feeling child-like. I wouldn't come here without at least 4 people. I mean what's the point of racing, if you aren't beating someone you know.
This is great fun once or twice a year, I don't really go there much more because it is a bit pricey. You can buy time on the track from 8 minutes through 30 minutes at a time Different days and times have different prices. The price and drive time are the only reasons it got 4 stars instead of 5.
