Q:
Is the west side still open? If not, what happened? I really wanted to try that place!

Jasper's Westside closed a year or so ago and the same ownership group opened a new seafood themed bar/restaurant in its place called Catch 101. The same group also bought a nearby bar and reopened it as Westside Bar & Grill

Came here as an HR event for work. I haven't really ever explored this area even while living nearby.
Great customer service! Drinks and food were delicious. 'll be back in the future!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 8, 2023
I echo the other reviews of making sure to have a reservation! We came with a group of 5 on a Tuesday night and were very happy to have reservations.
Great drink selection and apps. Plus it was happy hour which is a great deal. We had a cheese plate, Brussels and hummus. All delicious.
Our entrees were also solid but not great. My roast chicken was a little on the salty side and the side veggies did not hold up well.
Overall would recommend this spot as a happy hour after work drinks spot!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 23, 2023
First things first- do not go here on a Sunday afternoon without reservations even if you're at the bar!
I sat at the bar which was very small but cute. There was an outside area and bar too. The bartender was great and very responsive.
I had a take a star because the food took over 40 minutes to come out so by the time it got to me I was over it and ready to leave. How long does it take to put hummus and veggies on a plate?
Everything tasted good and was fresh. Just wish it happened quicker.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hankster W.Newtown Square, PA0718Feb 18, 2024
Went there for an early dinner. I was looking for a good steak and I got exactly what I needed. Never had I had a filet cooked just right, medium rare and all I needed was a regular knife to cut! The bartender was great. It's a small bar but the dining room has plenty of room.

Met some work friends here for cocktails and dinner. Semi busy around 7 on a Monday. They were voted best cocktails bar in the area so I tried the "Shipwrecked." Rum, Amaretto and Pineapple played nicely together-delicious!
Ordered a Levante Cloudy IPA with dinner. It was cloudy, not too hoppy and tasty. For dinner, it was a Shrimp BLT wrap with a side salad. I wanted a lighter meal and this fit the bill. A few ordered the Backyard Burger and enjoyed it. The Bacon Jam was a hit.
They have a nice deck/outdoor seating area as well second level seating. I saw $9 lunch and Happy Hour specials. A good variety of items on the menu. We wanted to try their Chocolate Cake but unfortunately turned out it wasn't available.
Service was Friendly and attentive. Great spot for a group and cocktails/dinner.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Steven G.Norristown, PA06Jan 5, 2024
I'm so surprised this place was not rated higher. It gets busy so maybe that is it, but I go here often and have never had a bad meal.
Book ahead if you want outside in the summer and springHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shaniece L.Philadelphia, PA283027Jan 11, 2023
Visited this place on 1/10/23 for happy hour with my wife. The place was so nice and welcoming. Our waiter was Zach, I believe that was his name. (Sorry if I got that wrong.) He was very nice and attentive. (And cute lol) We ordered pineapple martinis, cheese fries, Cajun spiced wings and brisket sliders.
The pineapple martinis were very strong (that's a good thing to me). 1 and done lol but we had 2 each. They were so tasty. The cheese fries were ok. I didn't like their cheese sauce. The wings were good. Very crispy. The brisket sliders were amazing. Melt in your mouth. I should've took some to go.
Try this place out for yourself. Very laid back low key vibes, at least when I visited.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 21, 2022
I've come to Jasper's for both work and personal events, and it's a nice go-to Conshohocken spot. Between the good service and the space, it always has a great ambiance. The outdoor tent seating is a fun feature. Food wise, it gets the job done and it's pretty standard American fare. If you're in the mood for a burger, I highly recommend the Three Alarm Fries to go with it, which are Cajun seasoned fries.
The only downside of Jasper's is that it doesn't have a dedicated parking lot, so parking can be a little tricky if the street parking close to the restaurant is full. But definitely not enough to stay away!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
