Great Ice Cream Joint, but this location has been closed for over a year.
There are others around the city, just not anywhere near here. =(

In the creativity department, I have to give credit where credit is due. The variety of waffle cones at this place is astounding. They have the best waffle cone-to-square footage ratio I have ever seen. Some dipped in rich chocolate and Reese's peanut butter cups, another loaded up smores-style with chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers.

As for the actual ice cream, I am a big Tasti-D-Lite addict and this place boasted a similar form of frozen treat, something about 8's...Just 8..Only 8...who knows. Point being, their 'me too' version of the Tasti D was really quite good. A little rich, pretty sweet and flavorful when considering the lack of calories. Top that with this whole cone thing and I think we have a winner.

Additionally, I must note, the service was outstanding. Very mom-and-pop style, old- fashioned, friendly and just plain pleasant.

Cute and creative cones and flavors, but really too sugary-sweet for my taste. For exotic ice cream, I'd still go to Chinatown Ice Cream Factory for variety, Ciao Bella for a gourmet-ish craving, or to Haagen Dazs for rich classics.

No, I didn't mention Cold Stone. It was a fleeting addiction, but I'm definitely off that stuff.
