World Sushi

Stopped by for lunch on our way back from Bear Mt. on a 80 degree day in October!

We picked up -

Shrimp tempura : Luke warm, not so crunchy, overall okay.

Spicy tuna - tuna tasted like potatoe?

Salmon Avacado - good amount of tasty salmon & fresh Avacado

Butter Wasabi - crunchy, bit sweet, and zesty from Wasabi. Best from the rest

All rolls had just the right amount of rice, their soy sauce might be too salty for what you're used to, and the overall texture of the rolls were on the chewy side. Go get some if you're around!

With the reviews being so good I had to try this place. Ok, my new favorite sushi place of all time....
My 4 rolls were absolutely perfect! Each chosen for being completely different. All served as you can see with the pictures perfectly.
The textures and flavors were exactly right.
The staff was very friendly and the place was clean and orderly.
So good in fact I ordered an extra roll, the Cocktail roll, which the server recommended.
It was also a completely different texture and taste. Amazing. Honestly just perfect. And I rarely state this!
I'll be back....oh, yes.... This being so close to my place is going to be an issue

Found this on Yelp because it had good ratings but I dont think they wanted to eat inside. Seems more of a takeout business. It also was freezing inside so not the most comfortable but I guess that is a good thing so the sushi doesn't go bad. The food was awesome. The sushi pizza was delicious. Loved the crispy rice. I would skip the tuna tartare since it was more of a standard dish. It had more avocado than tuna. Tuna was fresh though. The broccoli tempura was delicious which was a nice surprise. Never had it before. Now I know why the ratings were great, the sushi was awesome. Check it out.

One word...AMAZING!!! The best sushi rolls I have ever had. Even better than what I had in all my visits to Japan! A small, unassuming place but with great personality and taste. If you love sushi the way we do, this place is a must!

Great sushi. Service is quick. Wide selection of Sakis. Peaceful place. Roll as are good, so is Tuna Tartare.

Still one of our go to sushi spot. And I must admit... I am obsessed with their Matsuri and Godzilla roll and order them on a regular basis. Eating these rolls make me super duper happy! Their tuna tartare is an additional treat. Melts in your mouth, with a hint of jalapeño and yummy guacamole. The spicy rolls are indeed spicy--sometimes too much for me to bear without drinking water in between. I still love it though. We also order their combination platters for when we are hosting/attending an occasion. This place is an absolute hidden gem!

I travel a lot for work and always look for Sushi options before any other cuisine. Decided to give this spot a try while in the area. My GPS had a little hard time trying to find but don't let the location or small establishment turn you away, it's a hidden gem.

I had the Donkey Kong Roll, the Sushi Pizza and the Yaki Udon Chicken. The food was phenomenal! Fresh and bursting with a beautiful mix of flavors. The owners were very welcoming when I picked up my order. World Sushi is wholesome from start to finish. I highly recommend the experience!

Excellent service and very fresh offerings. Avocado salad was wonderful. Spicy tuna rolls were equally good. Will definitely return the next time we crave a sushi.

It's got to be one of our favorite sushi places. This place is a hole in the wall, but a total sleeper. Every time we go to the Hudson Valley we try and seek this place out. Sushi pizza? Yes!

Best hidden gem for Sushi. Join and Margaret are amazing. Quaint spot. Fresh sushi. Godzilla roll is amazing !
