My girlfriend, Amy and I stumbled into this while visiting my hometown of Pendleton recently. This place is a gem of a place! Great titles in paperback and hardback; new and old. Vintage furniture and retro art decorate a warm, inviting atmosphere to hang out amidst local art in the the street and pop stylings of a West Cast gallery! Really great "low brow" art and local offerings for sale. Beat writer fans will love the selection of books by Kerouac, Ferlinghetti, Burroughs, et. al.
One could be spending hours just hanging out here and browsing, reading and chatting about art and literature. Support local, indie merchants as soon as possible because places like this usually don't last too long in the prevailing culture surrounding it! -

Great bookstore, helpful clerks--a real asset to downtown Pendleton! We found old editions of My Friend Flicka and Thunderhead, Son of Flicka for my niece's daughter there, a great souvenir of her brief trip to Indiana. I also bought her a copy of Matilda by Roald Dahl. Great books, all.
