1 review for Wool Festival at Taos
This festival is held in Kit Carson Park the first full weekend in October.
If you are a fiber artist, you will not want to miss this fest. If you love one of a kind garments made locally with traditional methods, you will not want to miss this fest. If you have any interest in educating your children in how clothes are made, you do not want to miss this fest.
They have sheep shearings, fleeces and animals for sale, finished garments, tools, books, workshops, food, and just about anything else having to do with fiber arts.
I've been going for over ten years.
This year is the 25th anniversary.
Usually, the leaves are just changing and the weather is fantastic. The food is great and there are tons of other shopping experiences available.
It is well worth a trip.
