I enjoyed staying here, its an apartment so for the few days I was in New York I felt like I lived there. The location is great, close to the subway and Central Park. I got a great rate on the room, which made my stay even better. Each unit has a kitchen, frig, and microwave so if your staying for awhile or want to heat up some left overs its ideal.

The one thing I didn't is that the housekeeping staff doesn't come in the room daily to clean the room or change out your dirty towels. Also the front desk personnel wasn't very friendly, and he made me wait to check in because he was finishing up a personal call. Not cool, but I definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here 2 nights for a wedding weekend. The first night, we stayed in the penthouse. The second night was in a mini studio room.

Since we were here in Oct, and all hotels are INSANELY expensive, this is one of the best deals you can get.

The penthouse is small. The kitchen and bedroom are tiny, barely any walking space, and the living room was just regular sized. Nothing special at all. The bathroom is the size of a closet and showering is hard since you are bumping against every wall no matter where you turn. It makes sense why the penthouse is not much more than the regular rooms. HOWEVER, I do have to praise the BALCONY of the penthouse. This made the whole stay there worthwhile. The balcony is awesome and HUGE. You have a gorgeous view of the city and the buildings next to the hotel are these ancient and intricately designed structures that resemble a gorgeous mansion or 18th century castle with turrets.

The mini studio was ok. We got a room that did not have a pull out couch bed but they charged us the same amount as a room that did have a pull out couch. We complained about that, and the hotel was very unaccomodating. We had 3 people to the room and needed the pull out bed but they refused to move us to a different room with a pull out bed. However, the girl at the front desk was super nice and tried to help is as much as possible by looking for extra blankets and comforters. The beds were nice with good comforters. The kitchen was small, but it was enough. Bathrooms were insanely small but clean.

The hotel also charged the bride and groom an insane amount for rooms that they canceled way in advance and had confirmation for. So they basically took the honeymoon fund, and so we raised hell, and got it credited back. This really killed a star on this hotel because they were so unhelpful when it was their fault. There was no apology, nor any effort to remedy the problem. Instead, it took 4 pissed of people, 2 of whom are getting married, and the other 2 are to-be lawyers.

Therefore, 3 stars is all this place can have.

Woogo!, what a name, I thought to myself while searching online destination stays in New York.  After almost a couple of hours trying to find the best rates for my accommodations, Woogo became my choice, resistantly at first, but primarily based on it's name really.
But for all fairness purposes, I decided to give this hotel (sort of) the benefit of the doubt.
Providing accommodations in London, Jamaica as well as New York, the Woogo boasted about it's superb locations so I was curious as to what warranted such a boost of confidence~I decided on the Central Park location which is located in the heart of the Upper West side.
Now based on the virtual tour, and I have no idea how it was even possible to initiate such a tour based on the capacity of the room size, but I'm way ahead of myself but based on the tour, I was more than pleased with the interior design.  The property had recently been totally renovated which was good to know.
My girlfriend at the time and I drove their and let me tell you, once there, finding parking was a nightmare, which we anticipated.
The parking attendant was rude and obnoxious though but we continued the transition anyway. Although reservations were made ahead of time, the check-in was slightly nightmarish as well as the attendees seemed a bit clueless and slow to getting us situated.  I was somewhat taken by the decor which offered sort of a sleek feel in presence but once we were actually in our room, this is where the recollection of the virtual tour came back to mind.  Nothing of what I expected in regards to space or lack there of.  I had to remind myself, "I am in New York" where small is considered generous to most.  But overall, I was pleased as the room resembled an exactness as the the virtual tour had promised just in microscopic view.
Never the less, we both were satisfied and made the best of it, after all, it provided a coziness neither of us could deny and we both seemed to take to.
There was only one offset to our stay.  My 35ml camera had been lost during our check in as I was almost in tears.  How can you be in NY without taking shots and I only do black&white photography while there which I was so excited because I had just gotten this camera.  During our check out, I inquired if anyone had turned one in.  Let's just say I'm still taking  my black&white shots whenever I get a chance. Thanks to whomever turned it in.
So with the exception of the parking attendant hopefully whom has since been fired, I would make reservations again through Woogo, who knows I may just check out the London or Jamaica accommodations next time and maybe!, just maybe, if Woogo for whatever reason decides to change it's name to something more cool, I would rethink the 4star to 5 and I'm bringing my camera(smile).
