Food earns a 4.5 -- service deserves a 2.  pretty solid choice for a lunch spot.  There aren't a ton of options -- teriyaki beef/chicken in sandwich form or with rice, philly cheesesteaks, burgers, that's about it.  The philly cheesesteak and teriyaki sandwiches are pretty epic and have perhaps the softest, most supple, amazing roll in the world.  the fries are always amazingly fresh and crispy too.  only problem -- it my lunch break is only an hour, and the food takes about 15-20 minutes.  they could use an extra cook or two

Pretty decent teriyaki rice plates despite a rather confused identity. From the sound of this place, you might think it's a regular sandwich place. But when you get here, it's run by Asian people and has a menu or regular sandwiches along with a decent selection of rice plates - teriyaki, kalbi, etc.  The decor is just as odd. There's a big screen tv in the back, almost like a sports bar. The tables and decor resemble an american restaurant but then there's some random asian decor like a big asian fan sprinkled here and there. Odd but liked having the tv to catch a couple of March Madness games during lunch.

The chicken teriyaki (~$7) was tasty and cooked to order. There were hot thin slices of teriyaki chicken laid across a generous portion of rice and it came with a decent salad with dressing of your choice. I'm used to chicken teriyaki being actual pieces of flattened chicken and not thin slices but it tasted good so didn't mind as much.

Bottom line: A bit weird but I like the quirky personality. I'll be back to try some of the other rice plates.  You don't get the generous L&L portions, but it'll do.

Another great find--very satisfying lunch meal. :-) I'm leaning towards a 4.5 even, as it may become a new favorite.

Highlights:
- Beef: fantastic, amazing, delicious!!! Super thin juicy tender slices packed with flavor. They call it teriyaki but it's not really Japanese to me--it's more Korean: kalbi beef taste with bul golgi like slices. 5 stars if I'm rating just this--YUM!
- Portions: perfect size: you won't leave hungry here but won't have to be rolled out either. The segmented styrofoam plate had one side filled with rice with beef slices piled on top and the other half of the plate was salad--just iceberg, but counts as a vegetable at least.
- Good prices: got the above plate for $6.98 (including tax). At a sit down restaurant with waiters and nicer decor it could easily be double that.
- Chicken: was also good as well with the same packed flavor and super thin slices
- Beef stir fry with vegetables: for just a few cents more, you get the same thin teriyaki-type beef with some carrots, zucchini, peppers, onions, and cauliflower. Bit more saucy than just the beef but I liked the veggies a lot: especially the carrots and zucchini for some reason--sweet and tasty. No salad on this one but same amount of rice. You could easily eat half, share, or take half home.

Lowlights (my flip side to highlights):
- Random, sparse, divey atmosphere: almost food-court like but at a restaurant. There's a big tv at the end of the room almost community center style paired with florescent boxes on top of mini walls separating few tables but also modern grey walls with small square simple art pictures. Very strange combo. My friend said it felt like a tanning salon to him. But hey, I'm totally cool diveyness when the food delivers this big.
- In a run-down strip mall you probably pass by but never have stopped in--unless you maybe went to the big green billiards place next door...
- It took a bit to get our order and I was kind of hungry but in hind sight I'd rather wait a few more minutes and get it fresh rather than have some meat sitting around all day be put on a plate for me.

The guy at the register asked how we liked the meal and then jokingly said "see you next time"... and we will! :-)

Their teriyaki beef plate is the best!  This plate consist of fresh steamed (and soft) white rice topped by plenty of sliced juicy rib-eye and a side of plenty of fresh lettuce with your choice of dressing (ranch for me).  Their cheeseburger with fries and a drink is also delicious.  I haven't tried their beef teriyaki sandwich but I also heard that it is also the best in town.  The nice Korean lady who used to run this place is gone and has sold the place to another Korean guy (I think he's Korean), however, I think the cooks are the same from before the lady left.  Only one star is left out for the less than average decor....but all in all, this is a great place to drop by for a quick bite.

Ambiance was a bit lacking-- dull and nothing extraordinary; fortunately, their window menu was enough to catch our attention. The owner was very welcoming (& pretty! lol), the second we entered. I was initially lured in by their teriyaki chicken sandwich picture posted on their window, so I ordered it with a side of potato salad. My boyfriend had a steak sandwich (I forgot the actual name) with fries. Both sandwiches were served in nicely grilled kaiser rolls (my fave!), and simply melted in our mouths =) Their iced tea, however, was... disappointing. It was clearly some sort of artificially flavored iced tea.

The prices were very reasonable. I spent around $13 for the sandwiches, sides, and drinks. So, overall, it's a decent and inexpensive place to stop by for lunch =)

I actually came over here to give El Amigo Burrito a try, but Woodhams Deli's window picture menu caught my eye as I pulled into my parking space.  So, I took a detour and gave this place a try.

Not bad!  I ordered their Teriyaki Chicken plate, which comes with rice and a side salad. It was actually pretty tasty, plus their salad was fresh! The prices were reasonable too. For $7, I got a huge amount of food;   post-lunch food coma, here I come!

I've been here off and on over the years...mainly when i find myself starving and close to the area.

While getting some work done on my car, I passed by yesterday to grab a bite to eat.

Usually I get one of the sandwiches which have pr oven to be great, and once in a while I grab their Gyro special...which is really great! I can't say it's authentic because i don't have enough Gyro experience, but my taste buds say it's damn good.

Yesterday i ordered the cheese steak sand which.

It certainly wasn't authentic like you'd get on the East Coast, but it certainly was a cheese steak sand which. It had thin cuts of steak, with a generous amount of cheese melted with sauteed onions. No peppers though.

The fries were nice and crisp on the outside, with a super hot and moist inner core. perfect IMHO.

The Korean lady who apparently owns the place has been super nice and yesterday was no exception. When i left she was already saying thank you and goodbye. Really cool to have some warmth in a place.

The shop is kind of small and dark during the day. But from the other reviews it appear they start to rock out with Karaoke at night.

I might have to visit sometime in the evening to see what that looks like!

The cheese steak wasn't the greatest, but very good in it's own way. The other sandwiches are a much better representation of what this place is all about.

It also appears they serve rice plates. I only found this out on my phone reading the reviews after i ordered. Will have to try the highly-recommended chicken teriyake rice plate.

This is a nice and friendly mom & pop type of establishment which makes you feel good as a patron. The specials typically run about $6....very reasonable. I love these kind of places!

The Korean Lady has a special thing for my friend who happens to be a big tipper there.  Now supposedly, she sits down and hangs out with him at the table sometimes, and she chats and flirts up a storm.  A few "crazy" stories later, and I said, "I gotta meet this lady!"  So Friend finally took me to Woodham's Deli.

Korean Lady hardly says a word to my friend.  She just sort of hands us our menus and leaves.  I'm thinking to myself, "Uh oh, she's jealous!"  Jealous or not, she gave us some humongous portions of food, and pretty good food at that.

So in actuality, I'd give the place three stars, but I'm adding an extra star for sentimentality and also for the secret Karaoke room in the back.  :)  Not a bad place to stop by if you happen to play pool next door.

Rice plates... rice plates? That's right. They have their typical deli sandwiches and fixins, but what makes this place special is their rice plates. Owned by a nice Korean lady, she also serves chicken or beef over rice and salad on the side with choice of dressing.

At night this deli converts into a Korean bar (ahh that explains the karaoke machine), so don't come here expecting to have a nice rice meal in the evening unless you want some dduk bokee (rice cake logs in spicy and sweet pepper sauce, yum) and some OB Beer to wash it down.
