If you like Wolverine's boots, you will be in hipster lumberjack heaven in this beautiful store run by chill, helpful, and informed guys that you would envision working at such an establishment.

I ended up spending about 15 minutes goggling over the different boot options and other similar-minded brands that they carry and chatting with the two guys that worked there, mostly involving me exclaiming, "this store is so cooooool" over and over in different ways, before they kindly reminded me that my girl was waiting for a coffee and that I should go grab one down the street and come back when I had more time. Appreciate it very much!

    Highly recommend!

Been looking for a 2E+ wide boot for more than a month now as my others (in another brand)  finally bit the dust and the company is no longer making anything which appeals to me.    While visiting NYC, I stopped into the Wolverine Shoe Store on the recommendation of another nearby shoe company which simply did not have anything to fill my needs. I was quickly greeted and when I explained the sizing situation, the gentlemen directed me to the 3 "1000 Mile" models which could be had with the proper sizing.  He checked his stock and brought the closest ones he had which unfortunately, was not the exact size and color I needed.  But you know, these are hard to fit feet and there are not many US-made shoe makers anymore which do uber-wide models in boot styles I wanted.  Overall, I was directed to order from their web site and short of having walked out with the shoes, I could not ask for a better experience.   Bravo.

Haven't been to the store but a pair of their boots from their 1000 mile collection barely lasted 100 before the sole came off...

The staff at the Wolverine store was so friendly and accommodating. While you would assume retail staff is well-trained, it's not always the case... but Wolverine staff members were knowledgeable and forthcoming with product details, other sales locations and other merchandise.

The store was fittingly merchandised and  decorated -- the furniture, accents, and lighting fit the brand and overall was a great experience. The deep leather sofa was  well worn and comfortable for trying on their boots. Vintage and antique pieces dotted the store and added to the ambiance.

    Definitely recommend stopping by!!

Walked by a bunch of times, but finally walked in with my friend Eddie today. At the risk of sounding like a PowerPoint slide, it was a superb top-to-bottom brand experience, visually and verbally.

Wolverine's been around for-everrrr, and as I understand it, this is simply a pop-up store, the first of its kind for the brand. Apparently, it's been a raging success. Whomever designed the interior really, really, really gets the brand. The place wreaks of real-deal authenticity, American work ethic and classic, yet forward-thinking style. And on top of that-get this-some of their boots are actually made in the USA! WTF?!?

The service was top-freakin-notch, too. We had just walked over from Timberland (I know...) where all they had were excuses, a few bullet points and boots you had to lace up yourself. Ugh.

These guys could've sold me a much more expensive boot today, but I was steered toward and ultimately walked out of there in a very comfortable pair of waterproof "don't give a shit" boots that look as though they can easily last for eons.

As with any great store, they've already sold me the more expensive boot I tried on; I just have to go back and get it sometime soon.

    First to Review

New York is full of surprises. It's an ever-changing place, and it definitely keeps you on your toes.

Sometimes, the surprises are unwelcomed, like being stuck on the J train whilst on the Williamsburg bridge for 30 mins (true story). Other times, at the exact moment you're contemplating purchasing new footwear, you stumble into a brand-spankin'-new pop up shop from one of the most recognized and lauded boot-makers (cobblers? I don't know the term) on the planet.

Upon entering, your eyes will be greeting with leathery, woody heaven. The inside design is open, inviting, and rugged looking. Their selection of footwear was fantastic and their staff was very friendly and helped me, even when I insisted I had to run to work in a few minutes and simply wandered in. I will say that I was pretty surprised to see that they were stocking Tellason denim. That certainly doesn't hurt.

I was in a rush and didn't get to fully take in the offerings, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're on the already-great Elizabeth street.

Heads up: the staff told me they're having an "opening party" this Tuesday, Sept 18 starting at 6, with tacos, craft beer, and whisky galore.

    See you there.

I called to see if they carried a certain style boot as a gift for my wife.  I was assisted by the manager, her name was Tori.  She was absolutely helpful.  She found the boot, helped me purchase it over the phone and had it all ready to ship.  However, it ended up I was serendipitously going to be in the neighborhood, so I called her to have it picked up.  She was very obliging.  When I got there, she had it all set and gave it to me personally.  Excellent customer service.  You thought this was Barney's or something.

I didn't get much time to look around the store 'cause I had to leave quick.  From what I was able to see as I was leaving, it definitely looked as though I had to come back.

I live in Jackson MS and wanted to purchase a specific pair of boots for my wife for Christmas.  The manager, Tori, was incredibly helpful.  I received the boots in time for Christmas and it turned out that they didn't fit. They bent over backwards to make sure they were replaced with a larger size and have been incredibly pleasant to work with the entire time. I own a business here in Jackson but if it were in NY I would be trying to hire Tori. She is fantastic!!
