2 reviews for Wolfgang Candy
Yeah this is a great candy maker in York pa. they do retail, wholesale and fundraising. they have a factory tour twice a day and they also have a small area where you can show and buy candy and toys and stuff. i bought a spiderman lunchbox for my nephew for 2 dollars. they have a lot of historical stuff there too, like invoices and recipies that are decades old. old cans, and original models to making the products, and also they have a model car that looks like the original one that mr wolfgang drove around to sell his candy in.
the chocolate is sinful though.

me love candies, me love chocolates - they make me happiee.... =)
on a random excursion to central PA, i decided to look up for chocolate and candy makers that give factory tours. who knows, maybe i could learn enough to start churning my own line of yummy chocolate treats!
We got there around noon, unsure of how the tour works and who to approach and so we browsed at the chocolate store, helped ourselves to some free chocolate flavored coffee and chatted with some volunteers who were painting a mural in the store. The volunteers told me they could eat whatever they want in the store for free - oh me so envious!
We found out that the next tour was at 2pm and decided we couldn't wait around that long and so bought some chocolates and candy bars. They were good and reasonably priced! The chocolates were $9 - $11 per lb. Couldn't resist and bought lots - alleviated some pleasure guilt by getting some sugar-free varieties.
And my personal favorite: The White Chocolate Pretzel Cluster!
