If for nothing else, this small course just past the businesses of Park Ave. is a great place to just play golf. It's not necessarily challenging, there are no golf carts, and the holes are fairly short. Yet, it's only $12 to play 9 holes, and only $6 to go around again. It's quaint, affordable, accessible and nice. And although their are a good mix of par 3s, 4s and a few 5s, most holes still seem rather short.
They do rent electronic bag carriers if you don't feel you're up to the carrying/walking challenge.
A little bird also told us that if you go in the afternoon, sometimes they're lax with the extra fee if you would like to go around again. So maybe you'll get lucky and can play 18 for the small price of $12.
Nice little 9 holer, walking course, cheap, in good shape, surrounded by the mansions of Winter Park. There's a lot of great golf courses in Orlando, here's a link to some of the better ones: http://forelinksters.c...
