Winter Moving is prompt, professional and courteous at an affordable price.
We used Winter Moving last weekend to move from the Richmond to San Jose, and we couldn't be more pleased. Adam, Max, Renato, and Dave all did an amazing job.
Not only did they move all our stuff in an efficient manner, they really went above and beyond the call of duty. When the move was over, they even sacrificed their personal time to help us look for an important box.
Although I hope that I will not move again any time soon, I would definitely use Winter Moving again. -

El Granada, CA
I had Winter Moving move me last month from San Mateo to El Granada. My movers were Adam, Renato, and Boston. They did a fabulous job and I couldn't be happier. Not only were they punctual, friendly, and professional, but when Adam saw that my bed had been broken in a previous move, he told me what I needed for it to be repaired. I called my roommate and asked her to pop over to the hardware store and pick up the items for me, so when they put my bed back together, Adam glued and screwed and put my back back into "almost" as good as new condition.
I don't plan on moving again any time soon, but if the need arises, I will definitely call Winter Moving again.
Pros -
Punctual
Polite, friendly, professional
Kept me aware of any additional costs I incurred - tape, boxes, etc.
Fast
Funny - as stressful as moves are, these guys definitely kept up the banter, made it so much easier to deal -

I can't express how awesome and professional these guys were today. Fernando and the crew showed up when they were scheduled to (sans a confusing apartment parking lot) and got to work explaining to me what the plan was and what was to be expected.
Fast, quick, friendly, efficient and ever-so careful with all of our belongings. Most of our stuff was boxed, but they wrapped all of the furniture in boxes and/or cellophane and made sure the stuff was safe and sound; now this costs a little extra, but it is laid out to you prior to it being done. The price was reasonable and it was within the pre-scheduled time frame. It's all good. These guys are awesome and highly recommended! -

Nobody wants to move during the holiday season - but sometimes thats what life throws your way.
I made several calls and emails to various movers that were scouted on Yelp. Only three returned my call and emails. Out of the three responses, one mover didn't work on Sunday and was booked on Saturday. I sent in a follow up to see if they could send me their available times so that I could juggle my schedule to accommodate them. I never got a reply. The second company called me back but during the conversation I just got an uneasy feeling. THe third company that followed up with me was WINTER MOVING. Wow what an improvement to the other company responses i had gotten. They were easy to work with and were very responsive to my in both my phone calls and my emails. I signed the paperwork and waited for them to show on Sunday morning at 9am.
The day of the move arrived and the WINTER Moving team of Rob, Renato and Adam showed up on time and were READY TO WORK. I walked them through my loft apartment (3 floors of tight corners) and gave them instructions - and they were off and running. Everything made it to the truck in a reasonable amount of time and all of the boxes marked as breakable were ALWAYS taken care of.
The move into my new place was quick and efficient. Again all my instructions were followed and when the movers had questions they would ask.
Overall I felt like me and my stuff were in good hands at every stage. Everyone was professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend working with these guys and if I ever need to move again I will call them first. -

Winter Moving & Storage did a great job handling all my delicate and valuable items.
Sometimes you get the feeling that your movers are actually felons playing dress up. That wasn't the case with Winter. All the employees assisting me move were professional and accommodating.
They arrived on time, were quick about figuring out logistics (what to take first, last, etc.), and their prices are hard to beat.
I've used other movers before but they've never completed the job with the quickness and efficiency that Winter's did. I hope (crossing my fingers) that I won't need them again anytime soon, but who know's in this crazy city. At least now I know who to call. -

These guys were fast, careful, efficient and very professional. They had the apartment cleared out in less than 30 minutes. I would have still been working on the geometry problem of getting the couch out of the apartment. Two days later I'm still unpacking boxes, but that's my problem. This was money well spent.

Moving is probably one of the "Top 5" things I hate in life. Winter Moving made the whole process so much less stressful!
Pros:
-They were on time
-Very friendly, polite, and professional
-Made sure to brief me on all additional costs (furniture covers, cost, etc) before starting
-Proactively retaped boxes to ensure they were secure
-Helped me with setup in my new apartment
-Finished the whole moving process quickly. They definitely didn't try to take advantage to go over the 3 hour minimum.
I would definitely recommend Winter Moving and would use them again for my next move. -

They moved me last weekend and were incredible. Mad props to Fernando, Slava, and Juan.
What we'd booked was a complicated 3-stop move of a ridiculous amount of stuff including a bunch of poorly-packed objects and a 300-pound, full-sized pinball machine. What we hadn't planned for was the Salvation Army flaking out on us the day before the move.
So when the movers showed up, we asked if they'd be willing to make yet another stop, this time at Goodwill, for yet another mountain of stuff. They said "sure!" and lept to work, moving with a vigor and intelligence that blew me away. They loaded everything up in record time and took off for Goodwill. Sadly, Goodwill rejected our 3 couches, so the Winter guys had to unload them, unload the rest of our donations, and re-load the couches to take them to the next stop. They never complained once.
They worked vigorously without a break from 9 until 1:30. They carried box after box up endless flights of stairs. They got all our poorly-labeled stuff into the right places, all of it in excellent shape. And they were nice guys throughout.
I don't know how their prices compare to other movers, but I don't care: they delivered excellent value for the money, working their asses off the whole way. Hire them! (And tip them well, too!) -

Renalto and Slava at Winter Moving are awesome. My move from SF to Berkeley was as painless as it could be. They were on-time, fast, nice and didn't break a thing. What more could you ask for? Also, don't forget to pay cash if you want a discount.

Moving can be one of the most stressful events in your life. Really, it is right up there with losing your job or getting a divorce. Due to the nature of my work, my husband and I could be compared to a monarch butterfly. Yep, we make an annual move...maybe you could even call it a "migration" on the regular. We are attuned to the "dos and don'ts" of a successful move. Now knowing my experience, you might imagine whatever review I present to WINTER MOVING & STORAGE has at least a smear of validity, right? In the past, yes I have hired magical movers (they're not massaging your feet, but let's be real) AND I have experienced the grimiest of the grime out there. Listen, I could write a new version of "The Nightmare on Elm Street".
That's neither here nor there. WINTER MOVING & STORAGE IS here and they are the cream of the crop. Never have I experienced a move so...stress-free! They were on time, responsive, responsible, cost-efficient, and kind! Oh, and they were gentle handing our stuff too. If you are looking to move within the Bay Area or elsewhere, give them a call and it will make your transition a breeze. I promise you. Some say you can't have your cake and eat it too, it is quite the contrary if you go the WINTER route. Good luck with your move! -
Review from Elaine S.
Oakland, CA
Winter Moving moved our large furniture from Oakland to Walnut Creek last month and they were hard-working, efficient, and reasonably priced. We moved in the middle of December (which we heard is the busiest month for moving as trucks get rented out by other businesses), and Winter Moving was able to schedule us in quickly. Two polite & friendly guys loaded a couch, an armoire, a dining table, a queen-sized bed, an eastern king bed, and a 6-drawer dresser from our 2nd floor condo to their truck in about 1.5 hrs. Everything was wrapped/taped in blankets. For $10 they also shrink-wrapped our king bed (highly recommended since the truck can be dirty). Set-up at our new house took a little less than 1.5 hrs.
Unfortunately a couple things sustained minor damaged (corner of a sofa and hole punctured in drywall) but the owner resolved the situation with us quickly and fairly.
They do charge double the drive time (our bad luck was there was an accident through the Caldecott, so that wait time was doubled) and for the packing tape they use.
Overall, I definitely recommend Winter Moving and would not hesitate to use them again! -

UPDATE 1/3/2011: Winter Moving has reached out to me since the completion of the move (and the posting of this review), and has put in a lot of effort to rectify the situation described here. Even though I was busy the first few days after the move, and then was on vacation, they emailed and/or called daily to follow up and to figure out what they could to do make me happy. Even the owner himself gave me a call to express how surprised he was with my review here, as professionalism was something he prided his company on. He mentioned he would investigate the situation with the two movers (names withheld here) to figure out what went wrong.
They offered to completely cover the cost of my move (100% refund). I could have been the irate customer, screaming and yelling and demanding compensation, but I like to think I'm a reasonable person. I don't want them to take a complete loss - after all, they still moved my stuff. I suggested they simply cover the cost of getting a contractor out to my house to fix all the things that were damaged. They agreed, and sent me a check in the mail. They even offered a discount for future services rendered, as well.
I'm revising my original 1-star review to a 4-star, based purely on the customer service and their willingness to work with me to make things better. Of course, they can't change my original moving experience, but they can certainly do everything possible to make it better. I think it takes a lot of guts for a company and for the owner to reach out and do what they did, and that is something I can appreciate. It's hard to find a company these days that is willing to stand behind its services like Winter Moving, and that's worth a lot in my book.
I'm going to leave my original review here to show the difference in my tone and attitude, as I think it's worth noting to show just how good of a job they did in making things right for me.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Yelp has rarely failed me, but this time it did. And horrible it was!
I needed to move a 1BR from my current apartment to a brand new house I just bought. I was looking for movers and found Winter Moving, based out of SF. Even though their prices are based on hourly rates and I was able to find much cheaper quotes elsewhere, I figured it was worth the extra cost for the 5 star reviews I was seeing here. Boy was I wrong.
When the two guys showed up, they seemed pretty professional and were straight to the point. They start moving the easy stuff first (I had already packed a bunch of boxes for them), then on to the furniture. Being a 1BR, I really didn't have that much stuff, and while I could have gotten a UHaul and asked some friends to help out, I like knowing I have professionals moving my stuff. Turns out one guy was a newbie and didn't know what was going on, since he was kinda just moping around while the other guy did all the moving. While moving my desk and bed out, they hit the wall a few times leaving black scratches on the wall - you know, it could be worse, but I let it slide. Shit happens right? At least it's the old place.
Once we arrived at the new house, they started moving stuff out. That's when the real problems started. As they started moving things in and out, I noticed a few things.
1) My $5000 leather sofas had dirty dirty foot prints on them - apparently they were stepping or playing moonbounce on the things while I wasn't watching.
2) Pivoting wooden furniture on the metal floor of the truck - HELLO! That damages the wood when you slide and pivot on the corners of the furniture like that.
3) Moving stuff into the house - scratched my door frame, chipped the paint, damaged the stucco. This is easily a few hundred dollars worth of repairs already to a (should I mention again) BRAND NEW HOUSE.
4) I had brand new hardwood floors - they're sliding furniture around on hardwood floors. Any decent mover should know you're not supposed to do that. EVER.
5) While moving my sofa up to the second level, they almost dropped it entirely on the stairs, it was like watching slow-mo as the guy (the newbie) at the bottom trying to keep up.
6) Various wall bumping and banister crashing while moving stuff up the stairs. Terrible. My banisters are damaged now too.
All in all, it was terrible, and when I called the boss he said "well, I can refund you $100, I think that's more than reasonable." To that I can only say a big MEH. You don't decide what's reasonable, that's MY call. And once I paid up, you can imagine I haven't gotten much response from them after sending them pictures of the damage.
Moral of the story - if you have nice stuff, don't go with Winter Moving. It'll get destroyed by the end of your move, both your stuff and your house. -

We moved from West Marin into the city several weeks ago. I found Winter Moving on Yelp and went with them because of the reviews.
They arrived on time, were very helpful, everything made it in perfect condition, and darned quick as well. We had Adam and Rinato for the move, both of them were really polite and helpful.
At the end of the move, after going up and down the stairs countless times, they asked if there was anything else that we needed moving. That was after we had asked them to change the location of the rug and various pieces of furniture for the third time. What a dream move!
All in all, the experience couldn't have been better.
Highly recommended! -

I've moved several times over the last few years and always dreaded dealing with the movers. Winter Moving was great and so different from my other experiences. The guys who I talked to on the phone were professional and give me a competitive price. They called to reconfirm and on moving day the truck was waiting outside on time. Adam and his crew were professional, fast, careful and nice guys. They also have a great memory. The day after the move I couldn't find a stepladder and I thought it might have been left on the truck. I called the office and the guy who answered said he'd check with Adam and team. And the cynic in me thought I would never hear from them again. Wrong, the next day he calls back and tells me where to find the ladder in my house! Given all the stuff they moved for me that was impressive. So go ahead and use these guys - it'll take a little bit of the stress off on moving day.

This company has completely changed my mind on hiring movers. It may have cost a little extra, but it was definitely worth the lack of stress and ease of transition. The two movers (Yishai and Cesar) were extremely friendly, professional and efficient at moving our possessions. I am definitely hiring these guys again should I need to move in the area again.

My wife and I needed to move everything from our one-bedroom apartment to our new place, but we'd waited until the Sunday at the end of the month--the busiest moving day. Winter Moving was able to fit us in.
Even though it was their second move of the day, the two movers were powerhouses! From my experience, movers are great at loading but worn out at the other end of the move. These guys powered through both the load-in and load-out in record time, despite having to manhandle everything up six flights of steps at our destination. They were careful as well as quick, and everything arrived safely and in perfect shape.
Winter Moving was a last-minute find for me, but I will be using them for all my moving needs from now on. Highly recommended! -

San Ramon, CA
Why call anyone else? I have used a few other large moving companies in the past but these guys just rock! They are the right size to provide great service - not a one-man show with a beat up truck but also not a national chain with bad service either. Just moved our 3 BR house from SF to San Ramon and couldn't be happier with the Winter Moving service. They arrived on-time and really worked hard during the whole move.
During the actual move, Adam and the crew were very helpful with our packed things, as well as the oddball things at the end that don't ft in a box. They shrink wrapped furniture where needed and used pads where necessary. They did not scratch anything and did not scrape any walls. For flat screen televisions, they wrapped them in cardboard and took care of mirrors and glass separately. They kept key items together so that the unload was relatively easy. They were willing to help with unpacking or moving things around as necessary. We actually filled the truck (15 years of living in one place will do it) and then had a bit more for the next day, as well as stuff in storage. They worked with me to schedule another move the next day and blasted through that load in no time.
When I called to schedule the move, they outlined the ins and outs of things like scheduling (weekdays are easier to schedule on short notice) and parking permits (why pay for a permit when you can just pay for a ticket if it comes to that), access limits and general approach (hourly charge versus a weight or volume charge). Some movers I contacted were very particular on getting all of the issues ironed out up front - Winter Moving knows things are chaotic for you and are flexible during the move to make everything work. They provided a written estimate and disclosure information up front via e-mail, with the actual numbers very close to the estimate. You don't need to be an expert mover - they are the experts and will take care of all of it for you. -

I was not looking forward to this move. The only day I could do it was the day after Christmas and I didn't have much hope of finding anyone wanting the job the day after a major holiday. After contacting several movers and not having many return my calls or having one interested in my job, I lined up Winter Moving & Storage.
First I had a few questions after making my reservation and they responded quickly to each inquiry. I like corresponding by email and each of my emails received a reply on the same day.
Second, they arrived on time. Third, they explained every charge as moving expenses can vary depending upon what you have protected. The movers were very good at helping me decide what pieces should be protected and what could be left alone. This really helped me keep the expenses of the job down.
Fourth, they were very willing to listen to suggestions. A couple of my pieces were difficult to get through the doorways and I remembered how the previous movers got the pieces in. That saved quite a bit of time.
In three hours the move was done. I thought I was going to lose the whole day. But more importantly, I felt I was treated fairly and with courtesy. Winter Moving & Storage was the right choice for me. -

I have already recommended Winter Moving to all my friends. They were super helpful and definitely took some of the stress off of moving. I was helping my sister move in a different city, and it was definitely worth it to hire them. Moved out of a 1 bedroom apartment that somehow acquired tons of stuff over the last few years. It was so quick and effortless that I was almost not even needed!
Definitely use them! -

Berkeley, CA
I had a great experience with this company, and would recommend them. Dave and Jotam (no idea if spelled that right!) were super nice guys, and extremely hard working.
I moved from Oakland to Foster City. Winter Moving got back to me with a quote via email within the same day that I requested it, and had me confirm via fax, and then put me on the calendar.
They showed up on time, and after carefully reviewing the paperwork with me, got immediately to work. They were extremely efficient and careful, making sure to blanket wrap anything that could get marred. They made sure that every room was cleared out to my satisfaction, and disassembled my bedroom furniture. They provided and loaded wardrobe boxes for me, and bundled up loose items I hadn't quite gotten into boxes yet.
On the other end, I had 3 flights of stairs and a very slow elevator. Despite that, they got all my stuff (a LOT of it!) into my apartment speedily, though they let me know right away that it would take a bit longer than their original statement due to the very, very slow elevator, which I appreciated.
They finished as quickly as I believe it was possible, reviewed the paperwork with me, and even took credit cards.
One of the best experiences I've had with movers. No complaints. -

HIGHLY recommend for when it comes time to move!!
I was a complete stress case prior to the move, and hiring movers was the one splurge I went for to alleviate the stress. Winter Moving was amazing. They showed up on time, were extremely polite and considerate, and moved all of my stuff across town quickly but with care. They were very cautious with all of my items and made sure things were delivered to the correct room. Also broke down my bed and reassembled no problem. 3 hours from their arrival I was competely moved and set-up in my new place. Sigh of relief.
Also - they powered through multiple levels of stairs like nothing I have ever seen. Seriously amazing.
Thank you Winter Moving!! -

Winter moving was awesome. Super fast, friendly and pretty much saved the day for a more than reasonable rate. I emailed them for a quote and more info, every time they responded immediately. Even showed up 10 minutes early. Highly recommend.

These guys are great. Why?
1. They helped me prepare and gave me no grief on my apartment size or my knee injury.
2. They showed up exactly on time with free wardrobe boxes (Why doesn't everyone do this? buying these is such a waste.)
3. They had my stuff loaded in 1 hour. No kidding.
4. I screwed up with parking at both locations. They figured out how to make it work with zero stress to me.
5. They were really nice, really fast, and didn't break anything!
During the move I was in a knee brace with crutches. I literally lifted NOTHING and didn't even bother with the stairs. 3 hours later I was inside my new apartment with all my stuff! Best part? These are licensed, professional movers and I paid literally half of what my friends were forecasting. Who the heck did they use? -

in 3 hours. Amazingly hard working and knew what they what they were doing to protect the property. -

First, I changed my move date 3 times. They were gracious about it each time.
The day of the move, they arrived exactly when they said they would. The head guy Adam introduced himself to me and then introduced me to each member of his team. I have never met such polite, friendly, hard-working guys in my life. They were all, without exception, incredibly thoughtful and polite, always asking permission to use the restroom, and checking in with me anytime something was unclear rather than just shoving things in boxes. They all individually came to me to excuse themselves when their lunch arrived and broke for only about 30 minutes. They day was a grueling 12 hours long and never once did any of them complain, they were just as hard-working at the end of it as at the beginning.
Out of about a million boxes from 7 rooms and 5 or 6 closets (OH MY GOD SO MUCH STUFF), I think 2 things were broken, nothing valuable or irreplaceable. A couple other things got small scratches, which must have been unavoidable because everything was very carefully wrapped in cardboard and blankets, and we only moved 8 blocks!
The actual price at the end of the day ended up being more than was estimated on the phone when I made the date, that's the only non-positive. But we paid it gladly, being that we hardly lifted a finger for 12 hours while these guys worked their butts off.
Highly recommend! -

hard working movers. They worked like machines. Our moving was done in just three hours at a price lower than initially thought.(we hired three staffs) My parents, who came to help our move, was also very impressed. They made small dent on the door with the tricky couch, but was understandable. This is my first time hiring mover. Though we cannot compare with others, they were very professional and strongly recommendable.

You know the "Fat Guy in a Little Coat" segment of Tommy Boy? Yeah, that's what I thought about when I saw the size of our moving truck versus all the crap Sir Nicholas and I had accumulated and then packed up to put in said truck. As our guys from Winter Moving showed up I felt a tinge of guilt, well it was more of a full sweep, as we showed them the stuff and the truck.
Immediately Nick and I started discussing things that could be left behind -"I never liked that chair anyway." or "Who needs a dresser? We'll just buy a new one!" became phrases of the day. However, our two movers managed to pack everything into our truck like a most elaborate puzzle much to our delight. I mean sure things were c-r-a-m-m-e-d in there, but we got to take everything with us and it all made it to our new home safe and sound.
With two movers it took about 4 hours to load up a 2 bedroom sized apartment and we paid cash so we received a 5% discount on our amount. All that and our movers were timely, courteous, and professional. So, yes I would have to say that's pretty much as good as it gets! -

I had a last minute move from the East Bay into the City. I called just before 5p on a Thursday and Tom immediately emailed me the estimate. The guys were there by 9:15 the next day to get me moved. They were professional, friendly, and quick. I'd highly recommend Winter Moving to anyone doing a move in the Bay Area.

These guys helped us move from Pacifica to the Castro this week and, to be short and sweet, were perfect. They showed up on time, moved our belongings quickly, were friendly and competent, did exactly what they said they would, and damaged nothing. On top of that, their price was completely reasonable and less than I expected to pay, despite the fact that I ended up with more items to move than I described for the estimate. I highly recommend using them and will use them again next time I move.

Pros:
- flexible scheduling: had to move my move dates around within a few days of the scheduled day and they were fairly flexible and accommodating.
- Punctual: they arrived right on time.
- Hard workers: friendly and never complained. Did a great job moving my bulky couch up some narrow stairs 2 flights!
- Takes credit cards: payment was easy at the end of the move. Explained charges clearly to me and at agreed upon rate. 5% discount if you want to pay with cash.
- wardrobe boxes supplied for free. They'll pack up your hanging clothes on the day of the move
- competitive hourly rate
Cons:
2 little things:
I saw them spill a plastic file box out of the truck when they were unloading. They picked it up and no harm done but would have thought they should have mentioned it.
They didn't have a hand truck on the day they moved me. They said they usually do. I moved out of a high rise and they managed to borrow one from folks there but no such assistance when they moved me in at my arriving place. That could have saved me a small amount on my total move time. That said, they hauled all my boxes up 2 flights to my new place by hand without any complaints. -
Review from Jenna F.
Since I needed a quick move, and my new place was on the top floor of a 4-story building, I decided to hire movers to do the heavy lifting. To give you an idea of how much stuff my boyfriend and I have - enough to fill a Jr. House (moving into a 1 bedroom flat). I chose Winter Moving & Storage because of their Yelp reviews - and they did not disappoint! They arrived right on time, ready to go. They were affordable, they treated my belongings with care, and above all else - they are SO FAST! Door to door, it took them less than 3 hours. We also had a couple of items that required additional packing materials (we packed our own goods before the movers arrived) - they were minimalists with their own materials, and I don't feel that they took advantage at all. Also, if you pay with cash, you get a 5% discount.
I have been relocated for my job several times, so I have seen how other movers work - very slow, using excessive packing materials, really milking every dollar. Winter Moving & Storage was the complete opposite - I could not be happier with their service. Our two movers were also very friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall - highly recommended. When I move again, I will definitely be calling them! -

These guys are amazing. They moved me from from a Berkeley 2 bedroom to a 4th floor walkup on a hilly San Francisco street in under 5 hours of work time. That was 50 steps, 8 corners, hanging light fixtures in the hallway, and a ton of my stuff. No complaints, nothing broken, nothing damaged, everything fantastic! They showed up at EXACTLY 9am as promised, did a superior job wrapping up the big furniture and came with wardrobe boxes for some of the hanging and awkwardly large stuff.
Also, in scheduling and quoting the move, they were the only quote I got where I got a nice written estimate quickly and without hassle via email, and then when I had to change the date of my move, they were super accommodating.
I'd recommend these guys without reservation! -

Nick and Adam were the best = extremely fast, extremely polite and extremely friendly (but not in an annoying way). I had about 3/4 truck full of stuff at 2 locations and they got the whole thing done in under 4 hours. All of my stuff is in tact and no damage was done to either premise.
If you've ever had a bad experience with some of the more shady movers in the city - go with this company. Prices are good and the dough is worth the piece of mind. -

Thank you A & F for moving me! (Names withheld for unknown privacy issues)
I was traumatized because I had to move from my apartment of 7 years. I dreaded packing, moving, leaving.
I was pathetic.
A & F showed up and finished packing, moving and -- unbeknownst to them -- emotionally supporting me during this "I'm acting like a pathetic slob" time.
Thanks guys!
I highly recommend Winter Moving. They estimated the job accurately. They fit into the estimate. They performed feats of moving magic. I'm not talking about huge men doing huge tasks. I'm talking about agile and strong and pleasant guys helping you move and making it seem effortless.
I brought them some water for their efforts.

We were all packed and ready to move, and WInters Movers made the move wonderful. They arrived on-time and they got everything to the new house with no casualties. They wrapped our large valuable pieces and put everything in the right rooms at our destination. They handled the moving and the driving, and we focused on our new place. They kept our carpets clean, and we would hire them again without hesitation.

The guys were hardworking, friendly, careful and never complained. Our stuff arrived intact and they were accommodating when we had some last minute changes of mind.
We had a lot of stuff in a 2-3 bedroom sized studio, it took about 6 hours with 3 guys. They were careful with out furniture and we only found some damage on a cheap Ikea piece that has broken on us before, so I don't fault them.

Winter Moving are the best movers ever! I cannot say enough about them.
I spoke to Tom at Winter on Thursday as I had a last minute 1 bedroom apartment move to schedule the following day. He was very professional and accommodating. I had a contract summarizing our discussion via email within the hour.
The following day the movers, Yishai and Nick, arrived on time and worked really well with our building staff to coordinate the logistics (parking, elevator usage, etc.). Yishai and Nick were delightful, professional, friendly, very competent, and super efficient. In addition, they did not flinch or complain a bit when our plans changed from delivering to a storage facility with an elevator to a 3rd story apartment (without an elevator) on super busy Stanyan.
I will use Winter Moving again, as I end to move around a lot. It was the best move experience I've ever had. Kudos to the team at Winter! Working with you was an absolute pleasure. -
