Great place to go at night. I am a huge fan of their Long Island Iced-T's! The food is yummy too. The burger are very good.
The only real negative is the noise level. The location can get loud between, the music, TVs and guests.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Typical bar food but always tasty. This location is large and in a historic building which is cool. Plenty of flatscreens for all to see and large beer selection :) fresh popcorn for the taking to help make you thirsty for more beer ;) Monday nights is small pizza and wings night so the place was packed.

I would probably give this 3.5 stars if I could. I come here quite often, when I've had enough of Lonetree. But I like the location, although it's a tab farther than what I'd like to drive for a bar, it's worth it. It's usually pretty busy, and come on the wings are good. Butttt they close at 1AM on a Saturday? I mean bright lights on by 12:15, cleaning, and basically telling you to leave by 12:30AM...If it wasn't for the great beer selection I don't think this would be a local hangout for me. Plus service is kind of iffy, they seem to have a lot of regulars, but if they don't know you, they can be a little stand off ish. I hear Lakewood and the Independence ones are better...

No wonder Lebron left Cleveland, he probably had drinks at this place. Beer is beer but the service here is atrocious. We were here along with a wedding party, complete in tuxes and fancy dresses. Still the manager started by refusing to serve 2 of them because he says a woman who had just walked 1/4 mile in high heels was stumbling. You try it sometime buddy. Then we asked them to call us a cab. A half hour later, no cab, but they kicked all of us out. A half our after that, still no cab, a dozen or so of us hanging out in the parking lot waiting. The manager walks by to his car, ignoring us. "You're just going to leave us here?" I asked. He shrugged and said, "They said they're sending cabs". Then he got in his car and drove home. After maybe 30 more minutes we walked several miles home instead of waiting for cabs that were never coming.
I'm not saying they didn't call us cabs, I know they can be slow in Cleveland. But as the manager of the establishment, shrugging your shoulders isn't good enough. I guess next time he prefers we drink and then drive home because he clearly doesn't care. -

This Winking Lizard location is huge, but it has the same great food as all the others. Legend has it that Babe Ruth used to sleep there, back when it was a roadhouse. It has two floors and a patio, and is perfect for large groups.
Their wings, as usual, did not disappoint, and I enjoyed a nice Great Lakes seasonal draft with my meal. -

They had a surplus of trendy outdoor seating available. The place seems like a great place to chill out and watch a game, however if you are going there just to grab a bite to eat, the place can be a little loud, especially if you go on a game day!

how could you not love the winking lizard? 100+ beers! some of the best wings in the world! all-you-can-eat popcorn! i always make sure to stop in whenever i'm home. the menu has a variety of items on it (mostly bar food) - but from sandwiches to pizzas to salads, there's something for everyone. did i mention the tvs? there are tvs everywhere! feast your eyes on every game imaginable. this avon location also has a cute little patio for when it's nice out.
not only does the winking lizard have daily specials (tuesdays are my favorite - cheap wings and half prized pizzas,) they always have seasonal and monthly specials too.
and make sure to say hello to "mr. man" during your visit.Listed in: cleveland rocks

Good bar, good service. Relatively poor quality bar food. I like showing my out of town friends this place. Hey look! People in Ohio drink at bars with huge iguanas in cages. Ain't no PETA around these parts. Heck they still have labor unions and drive American cars around here! Good times. This place pretty much defines Ohio for better or worse. Browns, Indians, and Cavs suck.
