I really liked the selection they had. I love simple things with that special something. You can't quite tell what it is, but you know it when you see. You fall in love with it, and you almost ALMOST hand over your credit card automatically so that you can take it home with you. That's how I felt about this one Joie shirt they had. I hadn't seen it in Saks or Neimen Marcus that carries the line. But it was a little bit pricer than I could reason myself to buy for a shirt. I will definately return to see what else they have.
Since I've only been here once, the sale items are decent. The stuff becomes more affordable. However, they do have quite a number of 7 for Mankind jeans on sale. I would've looked through it if it had not been for the fact that I just bought a couple only a month ago.
So when I need my next fix of shopping, this place will be on my list to go to. -

Cute little boutique that offers such brands like Cynthia Vincent, the sales staff are extremely friendly, and lets you mosey around. Their collection of purses and clutches are cute, too. You have to go downstairs to get to this store. They have a little sales rack in the back to rummage through for a good deal. Prices are comparable to other boutique stores, but the customer service was fantastic.

Wink seems to have a following, as it seems to have been in business for a while now. I was disappointed, however, because there was absolutely nothing in my size. I think the largest size I saw was a 6.
The styles were cute, but I couldn't do more than look! -

In an area of DC like Georgetown, it is refreshing to find a boutique that is not part of a big company like Club Monoco or BCBG (not that there is anything wrong with either of those stores..it just gets repetitive from time to time).
Wink is under the Steve Madden store so it can be hard to spot if not for the typically cute clothes displayed in the window, Inside this store carries Seven and Citizen jeans (yay-- don't have to haul out to Tysons to go to Bloomies!). They certainly pack a lot of unique and hip stuff into the space.Listed in: Sample Sale Finds

It might be easy to walk past Wink, which is tucked away in a basement beneath the Steve Madden store. The pink sign (and maybe this Yelp) will hopefully draw you down and into this cute boutique. They pack a lot into this small space. While they carry dressier items, my faves here are the usual suspects of casual, everyday wear: Citizens of Humanity and Seven jeans, soft Splendid tees and more.

Wink is cute shop that carries lines that Barney's, Cusp and Sugar also have. The only difference is that it is quieter and more girly. This shop is very trendy and usually seems to have only what is big right now. Not too fashion-forward; however, it is a nice change and they always have my size available.

Finally made it to Wink. I was looking for a birthday gift for a girlfriend, and my price range was not too cheap (I thought). I would have had a hard time justifiying buying any of that stuff though. Some of it was VERY cute, and there were a few things on the sale rack that I could have justified paying for. However, they were a tad extreme, as in, trendy to the extent I couldn't be sure if my friend would really appreciate them. Unfortunately, I couldn't even consider them for myself, because they didn't have anything I was interested in that would fit a size 12 or higher, and those amazingly expensive yet insubstantial knits just weren't accommodating my curves. I doubt I'll be going back.

I just discovered Wink and I can't believe it has taken me this long! I went into Wink on a whim and left with a great new outfit and also having had a wonderful experience. Wink has a phenomenal selection of clothing, but also great customer service. The staff is friendly, helpful, and honest -- a quality that's hard to come by these days. I LOVE WINK! DC residents and tourists alike MUST check it out!!

With it's basement location, Wink is easy to miss. My advice? Keep on walking. The prices are ridiculous, and the clothes can only be described as frou-frou-ish. I know trends and styles come and go, but the last time I visited wink I was appalled by all the hot pink tweed and ruffles. There are better boutiques on U-street, don't waste your time here.

Wink is by far my favorite place to shop in Georgetown. Here you can find the same awesome brands that you might encounter at its neighboring Cusp or Barneys Coop, but in a more fun, intimate space. Milly, Ella Moss, Black Halo, Citizens of Humanity, Joie... they seem to carry all my favorite designers! The staff is really friendly, helpful and attentive, and the selection of clothes is to die for. I've always left with amazing finds, like a trendy cocktail dress for a special occasion, a cozy cashmere sweater or a simple pair of jeans. For some reason I always feel better when I shop there than at the bigger department stores and chains... even if I buy a dress that can be found somewhere else, it feels much more special that I purchased it at an independently run boutique. They're tucked away under the Steve Madden store on M Street, which is on the same block as the enormous Urban Outfitters (cross street is 31st, I think?). If you haven't been in already, and you're a young, stylish gal (or shopping for someone who is!) you definitely have to stop by here and check out their amazing selection.

Wink is a specialty boutique that I just discovered and it is FANTASTIC! It has now become a weekly obsession because the inventory is fresh, stylish, and tasteful. I appreciate all of the attention the sales girls shower upon you, they are truly interested in helping you find that special top or dress for any occasion (a rarity these days)! I seem to always get compliments on things I have purchased from this shop and will definitely make it my new "go to" store.

The is the best place to buy a girl a present with a good sense of style. I love that it's not a chain store, very cool boutique.

Yes, it's teeny tiny, but they have great basics (LNA, 3 dot, james perse) and cute dresses (ella moss). They have decent sales, especially on James Perse stuff that is not usually discounted. What really makes this store wonderful is the staff - they are super friendly and always available to bring you a different size or different option. I try to buy here if possible, because the same shirt at Barneys usually comes with an attitude and I am helping myself.

Wink carries different pieces and designers that I don't see at every other store. Its nice to go into a boutique and know that I am purchasing something that no one else will have. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, but not overbearing. They know when to advise and suggest, and when to back off. Wink is definitely my go-to store!
