5 stars because they're always consistent. This place is like comfort food to me.

I tend to lean toward getting the garlic mild. Not that I don't like it spicy but the mild sauce, to me, has the most flavor.

The breadsticks are always fresh, hot and delicious. And even the carrots and celery are fresh. Their ranch is awesome too. Homemade style and not too thick.

    I'll forever be a regular.

I'm updating this review already because today decided that in the spirit of football I'd get some wangs n' thangs.  I placed an order over the phone and the person at the other end, was quite pleasant. Upon walking in the cashier (who was male) greeted me and my husband and was super cool.  He even smiled. :D When I arrived at the house, I saw that the wings weren't saturated in the buffalo wing sauce, which meant that the bag wasn't greasy at all.  Woot!

Still, my beef today is about the jalapeño poppers because they seem to have changed.  There are NO seeds in the "jalapeño" poppers!!  What the hell!!  Oh and those aren't jalapeños either.  Red pepper is not a substitute!! I'm hoping that you guys didn't change the peppers because some people complained about them being hot. Those people can stick to the mild stuff like the stuffed mushrooms and onion rings. Sigh, I'll come back for the wings, but the poppers are officially off my list.

Also could you tell the douchebags outside to scoot it along when they decide to light up.  Nobody wants to walk into a cloud of smoke when arriving and leaving your establishment.

Wings truly are pretty damn good here... they're kinda like hooters wings.
I was totally biased toward hooters but my bf likes this place and mmmm mmm it is good. I got the garlic hot sauce on the side and it was decent :)

My only gripe is that it takes a while for the food sometimes... but then again, I'm hella impatient and everytime I've come here, I was effing starving haha

Anytime I'm craving wings, I stop here now.
    The End!!

I love hot wings and in my opinion, this is the best wing place in Murrieta. Their wings are crispy and generously coated with the sauce. The breadstick is the bomb and even the blue cheese dressing is good. The only downside is the food takes forever. Maybe they fry the wings when you order so it takes quite a while but aside from that I can't complain. I looovvvveee it!

The experience here is a bit unlike any other "sit-down" wing place I've ever been to.

I sat in the bar area and ordered a pint of Fat Tire while my GF went with a Smirnoff Ice and a water.  I also asked if one of the flat screens could be changed to ABC for the Heat v. Celtics playoff game.  It took several minutes for the channel to get changed and the water never came.  Well, I had to go around to the other side of the restaurant and ask the cashier for a water cup.  She explained that they don't serve water at the bar.  Strange right?

I later realized that the bartender was pulling double-duty as the fry cook; which is insane to me.  That would explain why he would disappear for minutes on end.  He was a pretty decent kid and I left 20%+ because he was hustling!

I definitely over did it with the wings.  Two orders of 10 wings was 10 too many!  It was just another stark reminder that I'm not as young as I once was and my eating prowess has eroded to old-man status.  But the wings were good so I couldn't leave any prisoners behind; knowing full well I would pay a hefty price later.

    So the verdict:

Get the wings to-go and don't over order.  Medium spicy is super mild so their hot is probably medium (good call on that Josh M!).  Service can be spotty but it won't be without a smile.

    Calorie overload...

I had been here a few times before and loved it, so I decided to go on my birthday with my family and girlfriend, ordered our food and and sat down, took about 45 mins to get our food and when they brought out the food the waitress dropped the tray on the table floor and my dads lap, after apologizing a few times the waitress walked away and never came back to clean up the mess. I went up to talk to her and she had happened to forget about the mess so she finally cleaned it up. So I talked to the manager about getting our meal for free for dropping it on my dad and he said they don't do that. Then I had to yell at him to make us new wings because they dropped on the floor and he had an attitude with me. It's sad that a place that has good food has such horrible service. I made sure that when I left to make the biggest mess I could just so I could show them how It feels lol.

Seriously, this place is the bee's knees! You HAVE to try the medium buffalo sauce or the medium garlic sauce...both were incredibly delish.

Hot damn these were some good chicken strips! These might just be the best chicken strips I've ever had.The breadsticks remind me of Pat and Oscar's and were fresh to death! So perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of fluffiness.

I do have to say this is not the kind of food you'd want to take to eat in the car, but I'm definitely glad we ate here and I definitely plan on coming back again really soon!

Wow, this is a great place to watch sports, grab a beer (though I didn't have any on my visit), and dig into lots of saucy wings and breadsticks!  Yes, the breadsticks are better than Olive Garden!

What's most amazing about their wings is the extra saucy-ness, a bit thicker than others. Other wing places might leave some of that glimmering glowing oily buffalo wing sauce, or, the sauce barely is enough to coat the wings completely. The wings here were coated with sauce, and the plate was coated too! Yum!

We got the "garlic extra hot" wings, super flavor, tons of garlic, maybe it should be called "extra garlic extra hot." Got 16 wings + 6 breadsticks for $12.99 and that included blue cheese dip and carrots and celery sticks!!! Wowzers! So very reasonable prices.

The service is extra friendly, you order the food at the counter, get a number, and they bring you the food. Bottomless fountain drinks.

Super casual environment, the kind of place I'd love to hang out. Too bad I live over an hour away. Today, it was sure worth the drive.

And you don't have to wait for the wait staff to bring a check, get the change, back and forth, 20% tip, blah blah blah. A tip jar at the counter invites your generosity. Love it!

Summary:  Good food at a great price.

The Food:  Wings and Things has good wings, good strips, and amazing bread sticks. Unfortunately, they only have 2 or three sauce varieties, and the hottest one is pretty mild.  However, the quality of chicken is high, and both wings and strips are cooked perfectly.  They also serve a few beers on draft.

The Atmosphere:  Order at the counter and wait or take a number.  They also have a bar portion with several T.Vs and a large screen projector.  Unfortunately, their hours are pretty crappy so if you are in the middle of a West-Coast-based sporting event, they will kick you out midway through. =(

The Staff:  The staff are overly friendly.  They always smile and always take good care of you.  One of the asian girls doesn't speak English, but she is super nice and can totally do the job without error despite the language barrier, so more power to her.

I'd a given em five stars but they recently downsized their strips and now you need to eat twice as many to get full.

The wings and strips are awesome though, so I have to give props.

The wait time is a little longer than most fast food places, but you're getting better tasting food, plus its not the same old same old.

On a side note: I don't know what the deal is with the Wing N Out place on the 79. Its like its kinda the same place, kinda not.
They call it the sister store, but I'm not sure why it isn't called Wings N Things?

I wanted something that wasn't healthy for me today.  I wanted to be bad.  I've been forcing myself to eat nothing but stupid nuts and berries for days and started craving chicken strips with buffalo sauce.

If you're looking for the sign, Wings & Things, forget it.  It's named Wing 'n Out.  Although they are the same company, Wings-n-Things is based in San Diego county.  Wing 'n Out is for Riverside County folks.  I don't know why but it is what it is.  Their website: http://www.wingnout.com/

Parking is ample, no need to fight for a spot.  Plenty of seating.  You order at the register and pay.  They give you a card with a number on it that you put on your table.

I saw a lot of folks ordering their food to go.  Even the Border Patrol like coming here.

The staff will bring your food out to you.

I got the three chicken strip combo with two breadsticks and a diet Coke for $6.39.  Then I saw that they had macaroni salad and thought to myself, "Oh what the hell..." and ordered that too for $1.89.

The breadsticks were the best.  Light, fluffy, big pieces, and tasty.  I could definitely taste the garlic.  The chicken strips were good.  They were a bit oily but it wasn't overly done.  I ordered them mild but they have different types: mild, bbq, medium, garlic mild, bbq-hot, garlic hot, hot, and flamin' x-hot.

The macaroni salad was too sweet so I ended up throwing it away after a couple of bites.  Meh.

I was so full after eating the chicken and bread I almost wanted to fall into a coma.  Gah.  I'm such a glutton.

If you're looking for a good deal, they have 55 cent wings (5 wings minimum) on certain days along with discounts on their beer.  Just give them a call on which days they offer that.

This place used to be the bomb for good wings and the bread sticks are to die for. But, the last two times I have gone there, the wings are dinky and the portions small. I didn't mind paying a bit more before because the portions were good and the food rocks, but for miniscule wings, I don't think so. Maybe it's because it's no longer Wings and Things. I don't know. But in my book, I go places I know are good, not places that are sometimes great, sometimes bunk. Sorry WNO, I'll keep checking the reviews on Yelp to see if you make a comeback! Either lower your prices or bring back normal size food!

I actually just grabbed takeout here. We just got the big family pack. 50 wings plus breadsticks, veggies and dip for about $45. Not a bad price at all, plus that will feed a good amount of people.

The service was fantastic. The guy was super nice and friendly. The wing flavors were interesting. Mostly just HOT flavors. We opted for hot and garlic hot. We got half wings and half boneless wings. The service was pretty fast. We walked over to Albertsons to grab some beers and then came back where our wings were waiting for us. As we drove to the car with our wings in the trunk you can smell the yummy spiciness! Finally we reached the party and we got the wings out.

They were okay. I heard such great things about this place so I was expecting a lot. But perhaps it might taste better at the restaurant. The wings were decent, I liked those. But the boneless ones...no bueno. I didn't really like them at all. Never again will I get boneless buffalo wings. The breadsticks, I really didn't care for them. They were not that great. A bit plain.

I don't think I will be returning to this place. I love wings...so I was a bit sad.

I only care for their boneless strips with mild sauce, but they are excellent! Don't ever order wings by accident as they are not nearly as good as the strips. They mess up my order 1 out of every 2 times I order for pickup. One time they gave me tacos and fries instead of boneless strips and breadsticks so always check your order before leaving.

I've eaten Wings & Things' boneless "wings" a few times and I have never been disappointed. I got the mild and my cousin got the hot. We sat in the bar area and there were 3 big screen TVs on showing some college football games. 2 out of the 3 had the same exact game on, which to me was kinda boring, but maybe it made the football people excited! Besides this place being like an hour away from me, I definitely would make plans to eat here when I'm in/near Temecula for sure. Nom nom nom!

Ahh.. Wings &/or Things.  As football season goes on, so does my increase activity of chicken wings and beer.  One of the best chicken spots I've been to and its still good.  Though I change the order up sometimes and get new things off the menu, but Garlic Medium 5 Chicken Strip meal is the go to.  Ever have a hankerin for some chicken and football, this is the place to be.  The people (not just the workers) are friendly and fun when the right teams are playing.

Every time I come to California, it's not a complete trip unless we go to Wings n Things. Yes, I know they changed their name to Wing n Out or something like that....but it's always going to be Wings n Things! Their breadsticks are AMAZING....crispy and soft at the same time....and a perfect pairing to sop up the great sauce! The mild garlic is to die for....just one of the best sauces I've ever had. Yes it's lacking in the spice (even the hot sauce) but the flavor is great! Wish I could get it in Chicago!

So.. I knew this place was their, but never thought of trying it out. The girl friend unit took me here last night and damn, this place is awesome. SOOOO much better then that mid life crisis joint called wild buffalo wings or something. That place blows. This place feels like an upper class dive bar (home), small, welcoming, beer, wings! ahh relaxing... Im guna have the unit take me back tonight to try more sauces. This joint is going to defiantly become a routine eat out for me.
