Wingate Inn Alpharetta
1 review for Wingate Inn Alpharetta
This is the second hotel for business travel in Alpharetta/Roswell. I'm much more pleased with the interior and offerings of Wingate Inn vs. Best Western up the street.
This hotel is geared towards business travellers - there is a power strip on the desk for your laptop, cell phone whatnot to charge. There are extra power outlets by the alarm clock so you can use your laptop as a stereo on the night stand.
The continental breakfast has individual yogurts and oranges, apples and bananas for the healthy fixings. They have diy waffles, english muffins, muffins and bagles as well. I haven't stuck around long enough in the morning to see much more than that.
I will say I think it is odd that they have a happy hour here from 5:30 to 7pm where there are free snacks and beer in the lobby/lounge where there is a big screen tv.
I was pleased to find Nutrogena soaps/lotions/shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. I know based on the name brand toiletries whether or not I'm allergic to them. If it isn't a name brand, I'm afraid to use it.
I'll stick to Wingate Inns for business travel. They are priced right, and they have a frequent traveller card to earn points for some junk or other..
