OK, I admit it. I was a Wing Stop virgin. But what a great way to go!
It was after an epic wine country trip. We were all sleep deprived and hungry. Wing Stop has been on our minds all weekend. We made the drive out, parked, and off to order.
Order #1 (http://www.yelp.com/bi...):
35 wings (cajun, garlic parmesan, lemon pepper) with a side of veggies and fries.
So this was supposed to feed five of us. Except that we were famished, so while I went back in to get napkins and utensils, part of my share mysteriously disappeared. Ten minutes later the entire tray was devoured.

Additional 35 wings (garlic parmesan and lemon pepper). I had to walk back in, head hanging in shame, to order this. And she remembered my name. Thanks for laughing at me after I left, though. Appreciate it!
This fed seven of us, with several wings left at the end for brave souls.
I can't wait to go back!
Told you guys that I would be eating here again today and boy did I eat! I ate SO much that I had to unbutton my pants after dinner and then knocked out in the car while my boyfriend was driving us home.
Now that's hot!

For quite a while I've had a bad perception of Wing Stop. My only exposure to the chicken wings before I actually went there myself was that it was dry, small, and insignificant. Even those wings you get from the freezer section was better than this place.
However, I decided to give Wing Stop a second chance a made the effort to order something from this place. The real reason why I ordered something here though was that I knew they had some ridiculously hot wings known as the Atomic, and I was craving some ridiculously hot food. I telephoned my order for 10 Atomic wings with blue cheese dressing, fries, and a drink. The lady asked me if I was sure about those Atomic wings. I am VERY sure about that order.
The service was fairly quick. Twenty minutes for pickup. When I took my order home, I still thought that the wings were still small, but it looked a lot better than what I experienced. Now those wings...it was indeed ridiculously hot! It was not an instant punch to the palette like eating something with habanero peppers, but the heat just builds up with every wing consumed. I experienced some sense of euphoria from eating all 10 Atomic wings. The fries are pretty good too, but I didn't notice the seasonings because my taste buds where shocked from all the heat. The serving size also very generous. Overall, I enjoyed my experience with Wing Stop. The only thing is that I have to discipline myself not to go there frequently unless I want a heart attack in the distant future, which I do not!
I've stopped by a few times and I think WS might take it personally that I didn't write a review yet. Note to WS: "Aint a thang but a chicken wang" - Damn you're good. Especially lemon pepper. Peace.
If it's anything less then 5 star's that you heard about this place it's a lie!!! Chicken wings with wutever flavour u like (personally I prefer the lemon pepper and the hickory BBQ) with tasty fries & glazed rolls (@ certain locations) wow!
Good Wings. A little on the small size but delicious. I always order the Atomic. They always ask me if i have tried it before and am I sure. Actually it could use a little more heat with a name like Atomic! LOL. Good place to go eat.
I'm writing this review for the sheer awesomeness of the customer service of one of their employees.
I ordered 20 wings to go on Sunday and was informed there was a 15-20 minute wait. "No biggie. I'll just go next door to Over The Top to get some fro-yo." I stated. She grabbed me a discount card for next door and I graciously thanked her. She saved me 10%!
So while sitting next door, the Wing Stop employee walks in and delivers my order. Not only did she deliver it, she reviewed my order with me.
My fault for not remembering her name! I've been to many Wing Stops before. Food's always been good. Lemon Pepper is my fav. I'm just giving this location 5 stars just based on customer service.
Paying $28 for 35 wings is ridiculous when Costco is right up the street but we did.
Sweet, well seasoned french fries, I loved them. Hawaiian wings were sweet and tangy but the Original Hot, that was not hot. They were absolutely hot. I know some folks won't believe it but not all Black people like their chicken burn your lips off hot. Don't get offended, it's the truth. Them lil wings totally messed up my mouth and lips for hours.
If I had the fries and some plain wings I would have been good.
The lil winggies family meal was expensive completely not worth the price and in these rough economic times save the visit to Wing Stop for the weekend family meal and call it a day.
Once is enough for me. My boys need to get a job if they plan on eating 35 chicken wings every Friday night. Fa real!
What is a Sonoma County dwelling girl like me doing in Vallejo at midnight on a Sunday? Well, driving home from the Wing Stop (ok, and Sonic Burger) in American Canyon that's what.
I've had Wing Stop before. It's a must when I am traveling through the Oakland Airport.
Big chunks of moist, melt in your mouth chicken, expertly seasoned. My favs are the Lemon Pepper and then the Cajun, Atomic and Original run close seconds. I also dig the Garlic Parm ones, but thanks to all that beautiful garlic, I only eat them, when I know i'm not going to be in close quarters with anyone else. (note, I don't eat BBQ, Terriaki or Hawaiian soy based dressings - so Getting a review on those out of me, is not gonna happen)
If you are looking for HOT like make your lips burn - go atomic, the Hot is just a teaser of heat, and more on par with most places Mild. The Mild that I've had before, isn't very hot at all. So if you are a wuss, go mild (or go sweet) but even the semi-wuss I was with, thought the hot were pleasant.
Friendly, Fast Staff - both times I went here (on the same day, but had shift changes) the fries are awesome. The Blue Cheese dressing for the stixs is crazy good, with BIG ol chunks of BC in there.
Walking into the shop my mouth starts watering as I smell all the amazing aromas of the food. Sitting there waiting for my order, I usually am on the verge of crazed, because it does take some minutes to get it - THEY DONT MAKE IT - until YOU ORDER IT, making your order, fresh, and hot every time. I'll totally wait the extra few minutes, just give me some extra napkins for all the drool.
Had the Bourbon Baked beans this time too - perfect amount of sweet and smokey.
ya, they know wings. Now if ONLY they'd open up in Sonoma County - 45 miles from my house is too far to drive daily for my dose of Lemon Pepper wings.
PS - Open til MID NIGHT. that's right MID NIGHT - even on SUNDAYS. YUM
popped my wing stop cherry here. good stuff! loved the regular hot wings and the lemon pepper wings. the garlic parmesean was okay, and i didn't really care for the bbq wings.
cool thing is they have what they call a "pilot pack" and for $75, you get 100 wings, and HELLA sides. will need to buy that for the fantasy football draft party.
After a so-so experience at the SJ location, I decided to give it another go while I was in Napa for the weekend. This time I tried the strips, and I happened to enjoy them more than the wings. I guess with the wings, the flavor can get a bit overwhelming since there's not as much meat on them than the strips. That's just my opinion. The staff here was really nice and made sure my order was correct. I'll keep this in mind next time I'm in the area.
I don't think I've EVER tried wings as good as Wing Stop. I'm from San Francisco and happened to be around the area in American Canyon. I came across the plaza with Wing Stop AND Sonics so I had to make a pit stop. I wanted to see what all the hype was about at Wing Stop because so many people talk so highly of it. I'm usually a buffalo wing kind of girl, but my parents wanted to try the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan wings. We got the combo with 20 wings and got 10 of each. Both were so good. It took a while to get my order, but it was well worth the wait because the freshness is so evident! Oh, and their fries and ranch are yummy, too! I wish we had a Wing Stop in the SF area. I look forward to trying out all the other flavors of wings on the menu.
Oh, and as for service, very friendly people and clean, too!
The service here is off the hook! They are seriously so friendly! I even got hooked up with some free dipping sauce, I won't say who, because I don't want to get anyone in trouble. If you've never been to a wingstop before, you must go. If you have been to a wingstop before, then you know the drill, lemon-pepper wings. Woot!

Can't get enough chicken? This place is so conveniently near my house. The fries and chicken are made to order. Call me a fatty but I like watching them season the wings. Do it up with that lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan! I can tell you one thing that the secret ingredient in their teriyaki sauce is chocolate syrup. Sorry folks, I can't reveal my sources. Oh Wing Stop, you do me so bad!
i heard about wing stop from a friend, but there isn't one in the city, so when my boyfriend and i drove back from napa and saw one at american canyon, we had to stop and try the wings.
we got the lemon pepper and parmasan. the wings were crispy, moist, and very flavorful. def the best wings i ever had. service is really good here for a fast food place
I see people complaining about wing stop, first off remember that you are complaining about the Vallejo one. The one in American Canyon is run by a different group of people and it shows. It shows in the service you receive and most importantly it shows in how the food tastes. I wouldn't complain about the prices because if you order just a 10 piece of wings its $6. If you can't get with that maybe you should check out the dollar menu at Mcdonald's. The wings are always made to order, I usually call ahead and by the time I get there my order is ready. It's warm and ready to eat, plus they always throw in a couple extra pieces for me so i'm not going to complain about that!

This is a great WING STOP! I have been to several in different areas and this one really is better than the rest. They are really nice when you walk in and on my second visit they knew my name! The place is really clean and the food is great. Getting the wings cooked for you while you wait is worth the wait. But I saw several people come in and pick theirs up after faxing their order in. I like the mild buffalo flavor best, but my hubby likes the teriyaki. Overall I would say this place is worth trying. Great food. Great atmosphere.
