On the plus side it is very easy to get in and out of.

On the negative side it is sort of dirty and reminiscent of a greyhound station.

Of note - they have some sort of Oklahoma memorial with huge pictures of Toby Keith and the guy from He Haw.

No complaints at all.    Very comfortable and easy airport to use.

If you are from Texas you should feel very at home.   As this feels just like Texas.

The OKC airport has a nice, easygoing vibe.  It doesn't feel stressful, security screeners are pleasant, and parking is cheap ($20/week or $1/hr to park close)  Even the parking lot cashiers are nice!

I've had zero problems getting in & out of this airport.

Eh, it is what it is.

Getting through security is relatively easy.

Layout is simple as can be.

Not too many dealys.

Things that DO suck:
- Signs bragging about WiFi like it's some cutting edge technology that just came out
- Going to use said WiFi and realizing that they CHARGE you outrageous amounts for it (the signs are very vague and say nothing of the cost)
- shitty food options
- shitty beer options

Very small airport and easy to get in and fly out. They just recently open a Sonics inside the waiting area. I have not waited for my check in luggage yet. The only airline that are asses is Frontier Airline; they give you a really hard time if you do not check in 1 hour before take off. You can be there 45 minutes before your flight and they will not be any one to check you in. The security check point is really fast as I never seen this airport packed. Beside FA, this airport is very easy in and out.

Twenty dollars to park for an entire week?  Wowwwwwwwwwwww! Great little airport!  Short lines, lots of signage so that you don't get lost trying to find the rental cars, friendly people...

As have many people, I have flown many times into the big, mega-airports which have more shops and restaurants; however, they can't beat this airport in time saved:  not hard to get into or out of airport, rental cars directly across the street from terminal, no long waits on the tarmac, etc.  This is much easier place for me to fly into than Dallas as I visit family members who are currently living in Wichita Falls, Texas.

I like this airport.  It is a bit on the small side, but it's way bigger than Long Beach.  The layout is simple, one terminal area for all carriers.  The design looks fairly new using lots of brushed stainless steel, earth tone colors of stone work and light colored wood.  And, the have a Sonic Burger in there!  I'm told that Oklahoma City is the home of Sonic... even saw a huge Sonic corporate building down in Bricktown... we in Southern California only get the "Sonic Tease".. tons of commercials to watch, and only one location which is out of the way (for me at least)...  Anyways, back to the airport...

Flying in:  Easy as pie.  I landed and was at our gate in no time at all.  Baggage claim went fast, rental cars were right there by baggage claim, the rental car lot is in the airport parking structure, so I was off and on my way to my appointment in record time.

Flying out:  Not too bad... especially compared to Chicago O'Hare.  Security took a little time, but it went by fairly quickly.  I think a lot of people leave items behind as every 5 minutes there would be an announcement for a belt left behind, or a cell phone charger, or even a wallet... I was there super early in the morning, and Sonic Burger was open for breakfast.  I didn't get to partake however as the Sonic line was long and I only had 30 minutes until boarding... Next time fo'shure!

Clean, good size for easy in and out. Most  car rentals on site.  Limited food and beware if you on an early beparture before 6am restaurants will not be open so eat before you get to the airport.

Regional airports are great because you can get in and out of them easily. However, when they planned out the space, they skimped on the space and will have to renovate in about 6 years when they figure out that the depth of the hallways are too tight for lots of traffic. Also, the rental car area is way too tight to get in and out of the garage safely.

After a 4.5 hour painful flight from Los Angeles to Oklahoma City, Yelpers are expected to console and greet Matt upon his arrival to Will Roger's airport.

(looking around)

What Matt saw are a bunch of southern-folks, with cowboy-hats, walking and swashbuckling around this small airport. You can easily tell that Matt is an outsider in this southern state.

Oh well, let's go rent a car and check out the city of Oklahoma City.

really...this review is not quite what it could be...I was only on the tarmac of this airport when our flight into Dallas/Ft Worth was sent here to take on fuel!

So, from peering out of the window in my seat on an American Airlines MD-80, it seemed like a nice, small, local airport.  The ground crew was able to get right to our plane and refuel us while we waited for the all clear to return to DFW and attempt a landing...again!

Would I come back...I don't know...it's sort of like how I could never say that I had been to Chicago for years as the only time I was "in" Chicago was at O'Hare making a connecting flight!

Mad easy, yo.

Seriously. Your plane leave at 1:30 p.m? Chances are you can show up at 1 p.m. and still make it to your gate with plenty of time to kill. Check in is a cinch and takes about 5 minutes. Security moves fast, too.

Odds that you'll get stuck in line are slim, but if you do, don't hate me. I never have to wait in line, although I make it a point to get to any airport early. In OKC, I show up 45 minutes to an hour before my flight and that is PLENTY of time to check in, get through Security, find my gate, take a leak, peruse the magazines, take another leak, stare at people, fill up my water bottle, take another leak and read 4.5 articles in my newly purchased magazine.

Not sure I'd pick this airport for a layover, though. You'll see all there is to see once you deboard your plane. It could be worse, though. You could get stuck in Memphis.

Oklahoma CIty's main airport. Somewhat small and old,  but fairly efficient. Unfortunately there's no direct flights from the Bay Area so you either have to go through SLC or Phoenix. Failry easy to get in and out of and rush hour traffic only slightly changes that. They're currently undergoing an expansion process that will upgrade capacity to 2012.

I've been to other domestic and international airports and I must agree with KQN that Will Rogers is smaller in comparison. I'm from Oklahoma City so I go through Will Rogers every time I fly.  Although Will Rogers lacks the grandiose square footage that other airports boast, I can't tell people enough how simple the airport layout is!  There are no trams and oddly placed terminals to get lost in.  The beauty of this airport is that you can get to where you need to go. Since the new security changes, I'd suggest getting to the airport at least 1-1.5 hrs ahead of your departing flight time.  The drawback to this airport is that it's not a main hub like Dallas or LAX so there may be limited flights.
