Great Salon!
I was referred by a friend and have been back. I have very curly hair and have been to countless salons and hair places over the years.
Mr. Rose (Ray) did an outstanding job and I'm a regular now. My hair is no longer damaged.
I really like the all natural products used there and if you've ever tried to relax your own hair or gone to a low budget salon you know the results you get.
This has been a completely different experience and everyone compliments my new hair : ) Gotta love that.
I think all of their stylists are great from what I've heard, but Ray will be mine from now on!
Great atmosphere, very relaxing and a spa like ora! Worth it!
Highly recomend to anyone in need of a new stylist (especially if you have curly hair) ; ) If Ray can fix my hair then I am certain he will do the same for you. -

Ray, I cheated on you. Your prices were too high for my student budget. I left the country. I had innumerable reasons to never look back.
But I now realize I am nothing without you - 9 months apart and I was cutting my own hair in a bathroom sink. I had clearly sunk to a new hair-low and I needed your skilled hands to fix the damage.
You didn't judge. You didn't scold. You gave me one of the best haircuts of my life.

Wildflower Salon is a cute and fabulous salon located in Westlake Hills. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the salon itself is very well maintained. I have been going to Wildflower for about 4 years now and plan to continue going - it really is that amazing.
The stylist I see is Ray Rose. Ray is incredible. Every time I walk out of the salon after an appointment with Ray, my hair looks magazine-fabulous. He really works with his clients to help decide on a cut, color, etc that will look good on you. I love that Ray will spend time helping me make an informed hair styling decision. He knows what looks good on his clients and I trust his opinion 100%. Plus, Ray has a great personality that makes hair appointments fun and something to look forward to.
Ray has also been doing Great Lengths extensions for me for over a year now. They look gorgeous! I receive so many compliments on my hair, and no one ever suspects that I have extensions. The way he cuts them to blend with my hair is perfect. I've gotten full length sets done with him and have also had extensions done to thicken the sides of my hair. If you are looking for someone to do extensions - look no further than Ray Rose.
Ray is absolutely worth the price, believe me when I say you will thank yourself for booking an appointment with Ray Rose, hair genius extraordinaire. Wildflower Salon and Ray Rose get 5 stars in my book! -

Emali Perkins understands blonde. Blonde girls will know what I'm talking about! She doesn't try to get me to go darker. She's been doing my highlights for several years and the 'do always looks fab. She also rocks a great cut for long hair. Salon is accomodating with bookings, plenty of parking, little room to chill out while you process and read mags, Aveda products, and friendly. Always look forward to my appointments and walking out with sassy hair! Thanks Em!

I just turned 40. Treating myself to a facial was definitely in order, and I came here specifically for a facial from Heather. I wasn't disappointed. I was looking for an Aveda salon, and wanted to try someplace other than Avant. (No offense to Avant, I just like to shop around). The salon itself was very pleasant and the stylists all seemed happy and busy. Shortly after arrival I was led into a back area for my facial. Heather asked me about my skin and left me to change and select my oils for the day.
Heather did a great job with my facial, and she also gave me good info on skin care in general. She asked and answered questions, but also respected the silence that comes with relaxing while being pampered. And finally, her prices seem to be a bit more competitive than other places around town. So, I got what I felt was an excellent facial from an experienced professional, and paid less than I would have else where. Total Win. -

This salon is one of the best that I have found in Austin....I haven't tried a whole lot of different places but the people at Wildflower are very professional and attentive to your needs. I went here about a year ago for a total hair makeover. I cut out pics from magazines to give my stylist an idea about what I wanted and she was very supportive and understood that I wanted a change from the usual hair cuts and dye jobs I have had. It's been about a year and my hair color still looks really good, I am planning on going back for another cut pretty soon. I would highly rec commend this salon to anyone looking for Aveda products and more natural dyes and great hairstyles and cuts also.

For about 7 years, I had the same hairstyle and hair color. When I turned 30, I decided that it was time to have a hairstyle that coincided with my...ahem...newfound maturity, so I started doing some research on hair salons. I had recently broken up with my old hairdresser because she was less than enthusiastic about giving me a dramatic change. I called Wildflower and explained the situation and my reluctance to try a new hairdresser for such a big change. I asked for a recommendation, and I was scheduled with Carolyn for a consultation. I went to visit her and took my photoshopped pictures of me with different hairstyles. Not only did she refrain from laughing at me, but she also had suggestions and totally put me at ease. She was VERY excited to cut my hair, which made me feel better about my recent breakup. She gave me the most fabulous hairstyle I've ever had. She took about 4 hours to do my roots, hilights, and my cut, and she was absolutely meticulous in making sure it was perfect, and that I was happy. My color was amazing!!! She put hilights and low-lights, and although the cut ended up being a little shorter than I had originally anticipated, I couldn't have been happier. It's like she knew me better than I knew myself. Ok, that's a bit much, but you get my drift. Since I've had this hairstyle, I often receive compliments from random strangers on it. Carolyn is awesome!!

Just got my hair done by Ray and I am in love! I told him what I wanted (more blonde all over, no red tones) and he delivered. I'm super particular about my hair, to the point where I drive into Houston to get it done by my lady, but it looks like those drives are going to be a thing of the past now. The color looks great - exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend him!!
