First thing I have to say is, they need to feed their fish so bad lol

After visiting Six Flags and Universal Studio, I was not expecting too much from this amusement park. As people say, their parking is absolutely overpriced. Come on, any place in Federal Way comes with a free parking!!

Overall, I enjoyed small rides with my friends.
Because we didn't have to wait so much (it was a very cold day).
If I had to wait for more than 25mins for these rides, I guess it would not be worth it.

Their food sucks and expensive, but you know, we all have to live with it. I have never brought my own food to that kind of place, and it's the same in Japan (unfortunately). At least they have more than one kind of food; moreover, they have Dippin' Dots Ice Cream!

I recommend to get a ticket online and print it.
I believe mine was like $28 instead of the full price ($35 for Adult).

This review is specifically for Enchanted Village's Fright Fest event since I haven't been there for anything else.... want the short version? Due to poor organization and over hype we were there close to 3 hours and went through one bad haunted house and rode one little bitty roller coaster.

My gripes in no particular order...

- The information on their website regarding this event was more or less nonexistent. Nothing about whether the rides were part of the "Fest", what the rules might be for taking younger kids, nothing.

- They have audacity to charge a $3.00 "Print at home Fee" for buying tickets online. Who the heck do they think they are Ticketmaster?! After all is said and done, you're basically saving $2.00 off the ticket price.

- The cost is ridiculous compared to the "value" of the event. Worst case scenario is $25 per person, which most people were paying at the gate the evening we went. Add TEN DOLLAR PARKING!!! to that and it cost me $60.00 for my 14 year old son and I to go.

-There is almost nothing "frightening" about this event. It's a lame attempt to draw a crowd of suckers (me included) into a closed water / theme park after it's been closed for the winter. The haunted house wasn't even scaring the seven year olds that were in front of us. The scariest part of the event was the realization that we spent $60.00 on such a bad excuse for fun.

- Based on the attendance on the Saturday night we went, advertising works. Of course there's no truth in it... Large lines for everything proved that people are looking for some entertainment these days. We waited in line 20 minutes to buy tickets... we waited in line 63 minutes to get into the poor excuse for a haunted house and then waited another 50 minutes in line to get on the Wild Thing roller coaster. So basically were were there for about 2.5 hours and spent 5 minutes in the haunted house and 43 seconds on the roller coaster.

Sure I'm a 40 something guy who's been to some of the best theme parks in the country. And I'm sure some of of you are saying.. hey it's just little old Wild Waves and the kids probably loved it. Well I have to say my son was even more disappointed than I was with the general quality of the event and activities. And as far as "Little old Wild Waves" goes... they need to ratchet down the price to match their value.

Never again.

This is the 2nd time I have ever been to Wild Waves and to be honest it was not as bad as my first encounter! I remember vividly what happened the first time and dreaded the thought of ever returning, but I conquered my fears and I had a good time. I would love to give this place a four star but the cost of tickets($35/adult, $29/kids, or $28/online) were just a little too pricey to my liking and they tried to charge 10 bucks to rent a locker and the parking was 10 bucks too! Are they not familiar with the whole reccession we're going through?!

The speed slide was pretty fun except just make sure you clench your ass cheeks together or else you are in for a BIG suprise, bobsled is probably my favorite slide, food was a rip off, the raft thing(can't remember the name) was pretty fun since the 4 of us sat in a inner tube together.

My two cents: Probably worth going to once a summer. If not, once a lifetime should be suffice

I have been to some dope water parks...So my standards are pretty high.  Heres the deal. The parking SUCKS!! granted parking sucks at many places in the Seattle area but this was just insane. We had to amost run some douch bags over because they were trying to save a spot for someone. Umm no that is not aloud.  I just thought that maybe they could have some controlled parking because everyone and their mom visits wid waves!!

Once you get in the park you have to face the next challenge. Waiting in lines in the hot ass sun. Ughhh not my favorite. I have never been to a water park where you have to wait in line to get into the lazy river! you even have to wait in line to get a tube just to get into ANOTHER damn line!!!!  I knew I would be waitng in lines but I forgot how lame they are.

However.....the rides are very fun and I laughed my hiney off and totally had fun. Maybe I'll go back on a tuesday or something.

p.s. I am pretty sure those douche bags saving a parking spot keyed my car. FML.

This time just James & I went so that we could go on the rides we wanted to and enjoy it without kids for a change. It was a blast- it was so hot that not many people were doing the rides, which meant short lines. I'm going to break down each thing we did:
Wild Thing Roller Coaster- pretty intense, love the loops and corkscrew, but it's pretty jerky. At least you get to go 2x around.
Timberhawk- Oh, that glorious 30 seconds is so kick-ass, especially the first drop. First wood coaster I've been on and being made of wood kinda freaks me out but we went on it twice because it simply kicks ass.
DiskO Flashback - ok, everyone has to do this! It's a huge disk sitting on a half-pipe and you are sitting on the edge of the disk facing outward so you can't see the other people riding- it spins around while flinging back and forth on the half-pipe and when you reach the top and jerks you around you feel like the disk is going to fly off. So awesome!
Lumberjack Falls- always a must. Love the plunge into the water then having that huge possibility of getting squirted with water by onlookers. And if you didn't get wet enough (which you will) you stand on the bridge upon exiting on either side of the track so that when the coaster comes plunging down, you get soaked as well.
Speed Slides- thought I'd man up and do the steep one. My bad. It was friggin' scary as hell! But at least I can say I did it now. Next time I will do the less steep one....maybe
Bobsled Bonzai slide- eh...kinda boring
Zooma Falls- very fun, but a bitch to have to stand in line for a raft then walk all the way around and up the stairs...I'd do it again though!
Konga River- Yes, a must when you just want to cool off and just chill out and float around a relaxing river for as long as you want
Raging River- I think this is the coolest raft ride there. We did it 3x. You can go single or double, but if you don't want to get stuck in the lagoons alone, go double. Many drops which are awesome and you end up realizing that you just hang out in the lagoons until you get in the current that will rush you down the next drop. Really fun!
Wave pool- eh, gets to crowded, but it's a quick way to cool off
I highly recommend seasons passes. Wish we would have done that instead because even though a part of you is exhausted at the end of the day and you are most likely to get sunburnt, you want to experience it all over again. Season passes for the adults so they can go anytime by themselves, and single tix for kids so they can go at least once. Locker prices are outrageous, but essential to have one. The re-entry is great since most people go to their cars and eat (which parking is $10 in the lot). A beer garden- ftw? That's new- and stupid for those slamming back beers then going on rides and into the water...but whatever....And I definately recommend renting your own tubes but you can't use them on Zooma Falls. But it's a definate way to get ahead of the line. Anywho, can't wait to go again! Hopefully this summer! PS though you can't bring in outside food or drinks, you can bring in bottled water and you can just refill it at water fountains which we did. Gotta stay hydrated in the heat! Oh, and PPS- why do lifeguards have to be so cocky?

I dont think anything can top the absolutely miserable experience yesterday 8/19/09.  I thought taking a day off work and shuttling a carload of kids during middle of the week was a great way to enjoy this popular water/amusement park on a warm day.  The long line of cars just to get into the parking lot shouldve been my first warning.
$10 to park now, you know it sure takes alot of capital to maintain pavement.  Tickets, after tax its $40/person to get in.
The place was absolutely mobbed.  Long lines in no shade lasting 40-60 minutes for the popular water rides.  The wave pool was shoulder-shoulder in the water.  Despite being there 6 hrs I think the boys got to go on 5 attractions plus the wave pool (no line there).
And just to really rub some salt in the wound, if you would like to pony up another $13 for your OWN personal rental tube you can avoid some of the lines (not all mind you).  So they have ENOUGH tubes, but they elect to allow the 'rabble' to wait in long lines for a small number of tubes while the priveleged few that would like to hand over more money can have their own. :)
And yes, locker rentals have gone up from last year, locker maintenance costs are just skyrocketing you know.  I think it wound up being $8 for an itty-bitty little cubby.
Food?  You cannot bring in any food/drinks.  Last year I was delighted to find a Subway franchise on the property.  Edible, reasonably priced food!  Gone this year, replaced by scary CornDog stand.  The remainging food offerings here are astoundingly bad and vastly overpriced.
I was going to give this 'two stars', because when its not overcrowded, this park is alot of fun.  But, management decides that they dont need any crowd control here, and simply continue to pack people in, so I only give it one star for that.  I would have been much happier if they would have said 'too crowded, go away' or even better, 'here's a $5 off coupon for each of you to come back some other time'.

None of the 3 teenagers I took were at all happy.  A round of blizzards at Dairy Queen was required to get smiles put back on.

So, I am never going back.  I would have more fun just lighting $200 on fire and watching it burn.

Went there this weekend with my 12 and 17 year old nephews.  This will be the first and last time I go.  We only went for the water park and I wished they would have turned us away at the gate rather than paying over $100 to stand in line for hours to ride an okay ride.  Just too many people to make it fun.  I've been to other water parks in Idaho and Utah and they were much better.  Also the lifeguards were real bitchy.  I understand safety is their main concern and trumps any "nicieties" surrounding the water park experience, but when you are 16 years old and making minimum wage at a summer job, take a f*%&ing chill pill!!

Of course an operation like this is going to try to vacuum the money out of your wallet each and every way possible.I basically agree with all the gripes I am reading. This place is second or third rate, at best, any way you want to slice it, but my biggest complaint is the food. TERRIBLE!!!!!

This year I took my best friend and his 8-year-old son visiting from Kentucky to Wild Waves.

How many rides are there? Really? It seems like there's only 6 water rides (more if you're counting each slide. I'm talking about each water structure).  Enchanted village is a slightly spiffed up "Fun Forest of Seattle".  but MUCH MUCH MUCH more expensive.

The rides' lines remind me of Disneyland in 1990 (before the line passes) and the rides aren't worth the wait.

The only saving grace of Wild Waves is the Wave Pool. I think I was in that thing all day!

I've had friends recommend Henry Moses Aquatic Center instead. (http://rentonwa.gov/li...) I'll be checking that out next summer.

Enchanted Village/Wild Waves offers a great mix of attractions for visitors of all ages. For the younger guests, there is a very nice section that offers age appropriate attractions that will keep children busy. For the more daring riders, Timberhawk Ride of Prey has opened offering the largest wooden coaster in the state.

The impressive coaster Timberhawk that is very smooth for a wooden coaster and takes riders on a spectacular trip filled with drops, turns and a great view.
When combined with the recent addition Disko Flashback, a Spinning rocking Disc that is very fun mixture of sound and spinning. Classic such as the Timber Axe, Lumberjack Falls, The Gambler, and the bumper cars to name a few are present, but I was sad to see Lumberjack Falls was not opened as I am one of those people that love to ride the water ride on a crip and cold Fall evening.

Those are but a few of the many rides as the Shockwave looping coaster is still thrilling riders as are the paratrooper, Ring of Fire and many more as the park has a great mix of family and adult rides and does offer a childs ride area as well.

There are plenty of concession areas and the park also offers some great gaming as well with a wide range of prizes for those who want to test their skills on the midway.

The park also offers very good specialized entertainment and attractions for Halloween. For 2008 The haunted events are the best yet. From the haunted house to the new Trail of Terror, guests get two haunted events that will delight and sacre quests of all ages. I suggest making sure to get in line from the Trail of Terror as soon as it starts (7:30) as the line can become very long. The Trail takes the sets and scares of the Screamfactory Haunted House further by giving guests snakes, smoke, and intense strobe lights as they walk through haunted locales.

Another fun event was being able to ride The Timberhawk in total darkness as there is nothing like it anywhere. This year, the loading area which is the only lit area of the ride, had Halloween themed lighting and decorations. The line for this is also long and closes at 9:30 so guests may want to do what we did and go to the Timberhawk after touring the Scream Factory, and then getting in line for the Trail of Terror.

Booville is a great area for younger guests and if music is your thing, you will want to catch the tunes of a live DJ at the Wavepool Dance party.

The amazing Draw of the show was Sideshow Bennie, an amazing act that was complete with daring feats such as driving nails, and screwdrivers into his head, laying on glass, stapling money to his head and much more. I was able to meet with Bennie after the show and learned the amazing story behind this grandfather. After 20 years of being a cubicle employee, Bennie decided to do what makes him happy, and after years of study, he has become a top attraction doing well over 150 dates a year. As good as the rides were, his 2 shows were worth the price of admission alone.

For Summer Guests.
If a change of pace is needed, I suggest checking out the water park where all manner of slides, wave pools, and attractions will cool off and delight guests of all ages.
Of course there are a variety of shops, shows, and restaurants, make Wild Waves/Enchanted Village a must visit attraction for any visit to Seattle.
One new attraction that will delight guests is the new Zooma Falls.

The giant family raft slide towers above the park at five stories, 50 feet, and include a crossover curve out of the shoot, four turns and five acceleration zones culminating in a cool slide into the middle of the Konga River.

"Zooma Falls is the ultimate family experience in water slide fun!" said Cathryn Schmit, marketing director of Wild Waves and Enchanted Village. "Zooma Falls will be an exciting addition to the hugely popular Konga River and Konga River slides area, where people of all ages find excitement and entertainment."

Riders brave the slide in a specially designed clover leaf shaped raft engineered for safety and speed while accommodating riders of all ages. To begin, rafts will be picked up from a holding area next to the Konga River. Groups will hop into each raft, one person sitting in each leaf of the "clover." This configuration lets guests face each other during the experience, giving them a front row view of their fellow riders' hilarious reactions! After finishing, riders can catch their breath by heading over to lazily float the Konga River.

I have such fond memories of Enchanted Village & Wild Waves.  Every year since I can remember, my mom would get us tickets to go to Wild Waves through her work.  Boeing employees and their families had exclusive access to the entire theme park for a whole day, were given a sweet picnic lunch, and Boeing put on an awesome raffle during the lunch (once I won a discman!).

We always had a blast and went every single year up until about 4 or 5 years ago.  I think once Six Flags purchased Wild Waves, the awesome Boeing event was axed.  We were pretty unhappy about this, to say the least.

However this year, the event was back!  My brother and I were psyched, but somehow...the experience wasn't what it used to be.  We rode the rides, ate the picnic lunch, swam in the wave pool, and navigated the Konga River...but it wasn't the same.  Maybe it's because I'm now 23 years old (the likely reason), maybe it's because there was no raffle, maybe it's because prices for things are through the roof, or maybe it's because a lot of things have slowly changed over the years.  Either way, while we had a decent time...it wasn't the amazing fun from years past.

However, I will still always have those great memories from back in the day, when the annual trip to Enchanted Village was a highlight in my summer.

I had a really good time on the water slide and the two rides I went on and was able to win three generic beenie babies out of their seven or so claw machines but, I have to give Wild Waves a one.  It's a decision I made before I even set foot inside the gate. This is because of one major thing $10 parking!!!  Are you serious????  You're going to charge people between $20(group rate of twelve or more) and $40 for admission and then charge them $10 for parking?????  Wow.  It really made me sick to my stomach to see that when we came in.  On top of that, what a crappy job you're giving those poor guys out there.  Who knows how many angry customers are yelling out them for this outrageous parking fee.  If you are going to charge that, let's at least see the people making the rule out there themselves, not making some high school kids do it for minimum wage!  Someone, somewhere is raking in the dough while  letting their employees take the heat.   And then...you would think you could get access to the whole water park after paying the entrance fee but no.... you have to pay to rent an inter-tube for the neatest looking rides.  It's $8 to rent a tube and you get $3 back when you return it.   The idea of a water slide/amusement park is great, the claw machines are great, the employees were nice, but this place is run by greedy people trying to get some extra money in their pocket anyway they can.  This is so not what a water park should be about.  It should be about fun and people being able to go out there and enjoy themselves for a reasonable price but it's not.  I'm sure there are tons of people who save up money to go here and are super stoked  and then get there and have an extra $20 right off the bat for tubes and parking.   Sad...
You can bring your own food, put it in a cooler and leave in in your car, you are able to get reentry.

Crowded, expensive, and unmannerly, Wild Waves just does NOT strike me as the best way to spend a day. Admission runs nearly $30 a head and I've never seen more than $6 off, though here's a hint... if you purchase your tickets on the Internet you can use the code Boeing2006 to get your admissions at $21 each plus a $3 "printing convenience fee" -- WTF? You print them on your own printer! But I digress. Parking is $12 per car and can be a hike from the entrance. Lockers run from $5-15 a day (not counting the $5 deposit you make and that you lose if you don't wait in line) and tube rental is $5-15 plus a $5 deposit that yes, you have to wait in line to collect.

Wild Waves is all about waiting in line! We even waited in line to get into the lazy river! The lines for the water slides were so ridiculous that I didn't even bother, and I've seen them longer on some other days. There was a line to get into the hot tubs. There were lines for toilet stalls in the women's room. Basically, expect to wait for nearly everything.

We were pleasantly surprised that the waits for dry rides (rollercoasters, scramblers, etc.) were not so bad, usually about 20 minutes. So we rode more rides than we probably would have otherwise.

Food prices here are outrageous and the quality is questionable; the only place that's at all reasonable is the Subway towards the back; their prices are inflated by about a third but at least you know what you're getting. 20 oz Coke products are $3.50 from the machine and they are putting in a new kind of machine that will change the price of the drinks based on the outside air temperature, so it will cost more on a hot day. Glad to know they want us to be able to stay hydrated.

The place is so crowded that despite the best efforts of the staff, the floors get dirty fast here. Bathrooms especially lean towards gross. And some people still smoke even though the whole park is supposed to be non-smoking now.

It was sort of surreal for us in a strange way... John and I went to a nudist resort a few weeks ago and had no problems seeing all the different body types and felt very comfortable. But we both laughed about there being a LOT of people at Wild Waves that we really didn't want to see naked... and a bunch of the teenagers are way too close to naked for my comfort. I guess that means I'm old, but seriously, I don't want to see butt cracks and nipples on either gender at this kind of place!

I understand that Six Flags is looking to sell Wild Waves/Enchanted Village so it may change dramatically or close down altogether. That will be interesting.

Best of all, though, you can cool off at a much more pleasant place for a lot less money much closer to home. Check out the Henry Moses Aquatic Center in Renton. http://www.yelp.com/bi... We LOVE this place and it suffers from very few of the ills that are so rampant at Wild Waves. There aren't any rollercoasters, but big whoop.

OK... Here's the deal....

Saturday Night. Looking for something fun and original to do with my son... Looking around on the web and I see something about a "Fright Fest" at Enchanted Village.... Hmmm... Looks interesting... Its Six Flags so it must be pretty good. So... I get in the car and drive south on I-5 expecting that there would be some sort of sign telling me which exit to take... There is, but by the time you see it, you have already passed the exit. So you have to travel about 2 more miles to turn around and come back the 2 miles you just traveled to get to the necessary exit...  (Its 142B if anyone is interested, because I wont be using the info again...)

Then after driving for what seemed like forever we find this magic land of Halloween excitement and have to pay $12 to park!!! Hummmm... $12??? Are you kidding me?...

So now I'm $12 into it, but I figure, what the heck, it will be fun. $12 bucks isn't that much... Next, I try to park my car in a huge parking lot full of cars, which normally is easy to do, but.... there are NO lights anywhere. Its completely dark, and not in a scary way, in a "this is F'n crazy" way....

After parking my car about a mile from the ticket booth, we finally make it to the ticket booth where we have have to, you guessed it, stand in line. Wow... its just like Disneyland!

When I get up to the ticket booth I find another similarity with Disneyland. The tickets are $25 bucks per person with no discount for the seven year old, who won't be able to go on most of the rides anyway due to his size. But look, oh WOW!, I'm given the chance to pay an extra $7 per ticket to not wait in line to get into the haunted house! Wow... What a deal. How about I just hand you my wallet and you take what you need. I'll just stand here and pretend I'm having fun...

So now, I'm $87.00 dollars into this and its been like 35 minutes of waiting in line. I'm thinking, "This can't get much worse."

This is until I get inside. The dark parking lot has nothing over the dark park. For god sake people, would some one turn on some lights. I know its suppose to be scary but I can't even see where I'm walking.

So now the fun starts! This is enchanted village! Lots of teens running around without adult supervision, cursing and pushing. I get my food stepped on a few times, and I hear about 5 words even I won't say when I'm by myself...

Super expensive fair food. Oh look, I can buy a 20 oz bottle of cola for $3.50! Wow what a deal!

By now your thinking, "What about the rides? You could just go on the rides!" Well... I tried that, but you need to have a partner to ride with on almost all the rides. Due to my son being about 4 inches too small to meet the hight requirements I was unable to ride ANYTHING! Even when I tried to get on a ride that had no line (There was only one of those)... I was turned away by the pre-teen running the ride.

"What about the haunted house?" your most likely thinking. Well... since I had my credit card maxed out just to get in the door I was unable to  take advantage of  the super good deal of paying $7 to not wait in line to have people jump out at me wearing Target store masks. I decided that the one hour wait to get into the haunted house really wasn't my idea of a good time, so I left after spending about $120 and losing over two hours of my life....

50 degrees and rainy?  Here's an idea...let's go to Wild Waves.

My nephew and other grade school students were being recognized for their scholastic achievements so WW closed admission to the general public and had an exclusive day to honor the kids(one star).

Since my fam went, I tagged along.  Though I hadn't been to WW in over 20 years, it looked in decent shape yet a bit smaller.  Score that I only had to pay 11 bucks(to stand in the rain), it's usually $35.

Despite the rain, the wave machine was full of screaming kids.  Other students were in their little groups like clustered blood cells circulating around the park: waiting in line for the rides or food, whispering about other kids.  The poor things were shivering with chattering teeth and goose bumps though.  However, they looked to be having a good time.

For me, I was ready to go the second I walked in.  The whole scene just looked wrong.  Kids were running around in their bathing suits in the cold and rainy weather while parents in rain gear just stood out in the elements and waited.  I was wet and cold and, therefore, not very cheery for the fours hours that we were there,

There were moments of comic relief.  The most hilarious site was the hot tubs.  They were jammed-packed with kiddies who were trying to stay warm.  There was even a line to get in.  Because of all of the steam, it disturbingly looked like the alternate ending of Hansel and Gretel like some sort of kid soup(see pic).

Also, I cracked up hearing the hot tub lifeguard yelling, "NO putting your head underwater.........(after getting a response)......and NO swearing!"  Funny what kids think they'll get away with when their parents aren't around:)

Another star for the memories.  Check out the pics of the HUGE fish in the pond.  And sure I would have enjoyed it more if it were 80 degrees and sunny but I can't get myself to add another star.  If I go back to Seattle, I could give it another try, I suppose.  However, for now, three stars and a cold to boot.

Wild waves is the lamest water park and theme park you will ever go to (which is sad because its basically the midsized one in Washington). I've been there several times and after each one, it gets suckier than ever. Maybe the "enchantedness" of it wore off but their rides are pretty much for kids. Even their biggest advertised rollercoaster is wimpy.
And don't get me started on their "water" park. Since my last visit, I can't help but get nauseous and have chills down my spine thinking of the huge puddles of muddy chlorine water I stepped on that smelled like urine. Their water park is definitely not the cleanest.
Their lines are long and by the time you get to ride anything, you get so frustrated by the time you've spent waiting, you can't enjoy the 60 second ride you're on.
It's way overpriced for the stuff they have and they overcharge all of the merchandise/food inside. If you have the time, I advise you going to Silverwood in Idaho, the nearest theme park that actually IS one.

One star for each of my kids, who love it here. Don't tell them, but I hate it. It's expensive and so crowded, with such long waits in tediously long lines I never feel I get enough for my money. I've been elbowed in the head in the crowded pools and fixed kids' nosebleeds for the same reason. I love a good tube slide as much as the next person, I just get bored waiting an hour to go down one. The roller coasters are okay, standard fun, but again the lines... Plus, there always seem to be a couple of rides that aren't working. If you must go, time it to get there about 10 minutes before it opens so you can get decent parking and not wait too long to get in. And look for coupons, grocery stores sometimes have them.

OK for young teens, but if you think you would have a nice day with your young adult friends at this waterpark, think again.  If you ask me this place is overpriced, overcrowded, and overhyped.  i'd rather play in the sprinkler.

This place was fun as a kid but in present years there's really no reason to go and wait an hour or two to go down a slide filled with water.  It's a huge park and the roller coasters are fun but the lines are terrible.  It's pretty expensive as well, so look for discount opportunities.

We went to Wild Waves July 26, 2007. We are a family of four. Two adults and two children, 9 and 4 years old.  We all had a great time.  We bought 2 tickets at costco for 22.00 each and 2 tickets at the park for 26.99 each. It was Burger King day so each ticket for all ages was 26.99.  Parking was 10.00.  Bargain since we just paid 15.00 in Seattle to park at our hotel.  We ate at our hotel that morning and got to the park around noon.  Most people were eating near their cars before going into the park.  The main  gate employee checked my carry on bag but only felt the outside of the bag. He did not go into the bag.

We got in and hit the water areas then the dry areas. The employees were very nice and made sure all the seat belts were on before the dry rides took off.  The lines were short for a Thursday and the small kid rides had almost no wait time in line. The log ride had a 5 min wait around 4:00pm.  The roller coasters and larger, scary rides had longer waits but that's true for any amusement park.  The food was fine and we got lunch there. The food was no more expensive then Disneyland or my local county fair.  Really any place that's a tourist spot or amusement park is going to be expensive. You just have to plan out for this expense or not eat there and eat when you leave the park or before you go.

My son and dh did not have to rent a tube for the rides. They were given out in line.

So the totally charge for a family of 4 was 90.00 for tickets, 10.00 for parking and about 40.00 for lunch and snacks. We stayed about 6 hours which was plenty.  The park was clean and well laid out.  There was a area for all ages, small kids to large kids.  We will definitely go back next year.

Just to note, we spend just as much at our local county fair for one day and Wild Waves was much better IMO.  We could jump into the water if we got hot and we could wear our swim suits all over the park which was fun.

Go with a open mind and open wallet.  Don't listen to the negative reviews. This is a place for kids.  Adults may not like it so much but we went for our children. They loved it.  My husband and I did our amusement park days when we were young. Now we do it for the kids.

Have fun.

My girlfriend and I got two free tickets to go here - I'm glad they were free, otherwise I would have rushed to get a refund. IT IS INSANE to wait an hour and a half to go down a waterslide that is over in three minutes. this place either needs to have a maximum occupancy rule to keep the crowds down so that you can actually enjoy the rides. Or let you know up front what is in store for you. I guess that is too much to ask of a company that is only interested in making as much money as  possible and not serving a decent product

I can do without this.  Admission gets you into both the Enchanted Village AND Wild Waves.  Parks are detached enough that you have to trudge across the park either on foot path OR through a terrible "midway" with yucky games.  Can't say I want my kids exposed to so much "skin" at an early age.  I was completely grossed out.
