I can't believe what I've been missing out on all these years. If you have kids who love water play, swimming, are active, and love some action, you will love this place. They have something for every age. There was a little toddler/baby area with knee-deep water and swings over the pool. There are mini slides for them also. A long lazy river, all kinds of slides, fountains, and attractions make this place a hit. The water is clean, fresh, and there are lifeguards EVERYWHERE...making sure all kids are safe. The Monsoon Lagoon was one of the funnest attractions, creating wave after wave of thrilling action.
We had so much fun we ended up getting season passes. They can credit your day's tickets toward the passes so you don't lose out on anything. A family four pack costs about $250, which is a total deal considering each day costs about $30 per person.
Don't forget to reapply (multiple times) the sunscreen! Two of my kids ended the day with sunburns because I only reapplied once.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it was pretty crowded. It was challenging finding a spot to sit at first, but people eventually move and leave.

You owe yourself to loosen up and be a child again.
What sets this water park apart is that there are so many little fun touches. All the rides are awesome and special in some way. Raging Waters, let me tell you size doesn't matter. What you do with it matters!
Bazooka bowls is an awesome ride. You get shoot down a straight and steep slide into a bowl. There you get to swirl around like the olive in your stirred martini. Once you peter out, you drop through a whole in the middle. Don't confuse it with the similar ride at Raging Waters. This one, you are disoriented, feel the g-forces, and litterally drop out.
Many great tattoos on display btw.
The safari ride rocks your pants off as well. You know, how on some rides you kind of doze off, because even you are going in circles nothing much happens. You simply sit there. Safair has bumps left, right, and everywhere rocking you every bit of the way.
I've been going here for years, and it is fantastic, if you're about having more fun and you don't mind the absence of frills.
Raging Waters was always prettier, but I never had half as much fun in their big, streamlined, yet somehow rather slow slides as I did at Wild Rivers with its seemingly smaller yet much more intense selection.
Also, mat rides? (They're awesome!) Obviously, Wild Rivers prioritizes fun over fashionability.

"Yay I'm a fan."
Yeah, I love going here during the Summer. I don't even know how to swim--that's how good it is! But then again, this is the only water park I've ever been to, but whatever! It's super duper inexpensive, and best of all!?
Okay so, this isn't the water park that all the sexiest people go to--so don't expect to find any future boyfriends/girlfriends here. But if you're one of those people who don't like to go to the beach/waterpark because you don't think you're in shape (etc.) and you need a good boost of confidence, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!
