I adored this place. I just adopted my puppy a few weeks ago, so I'm in the "I want to buy her everything adorable and precious" phase and also the "I should buy my cat stuff so she knows I still love her" phase. Unfortunately I can't afford to be in those phases, so it's a constant disappointment. Luckily, this place had a wide range of treats, clothes and toys with a wide range of prices. The staff was really friendly and helpful, as well.

I wouldn't necessarily come here for the every day essentials (I'm not sure I even saw kitty litter), but for treats, toys and clothes, it would be hard to resist this place.

I love my Corgi and my Corgi loves Wiggleyville!!

This is a great shop on Broadway.  First, they have an amazing selection of natural foods, treats, etc for your pups.  I started using Origens and Icey shows the difference. Granted, the prices are higher than most bog box outlets, but it is well worth it.  We treat ourselves to good food and treats so why not for our most beloved members of the family!

The staff are super friendly, helpful, and know just about all there is to know.  They are not about the "sale" but about making sure that you and your pup have the the right things that will fit both your lifestyles.  They seem to go above and beyond and honestly know what customer service means.

I found this place by accident and I am glad that I live just a few blocks away!  They have much more to offer than food, treats, and merchandise, as I have seen classes as well.  There is a rumor that they may have stuff for cats, too, but I cannot confirm or deny that at this time.  If you are looking for a conversation about your pup, what is best for him/her, and you want quality, health, and service, then grab your leash and head over!

Oh Wiggly, what would Boba Lou and I do without you?

Every time we come to Wiggly Boba has such a wonderful experience. Everyone is incredibly helpful and always friendly. Boba's look is a bit intimidating but we never get judged at Wiggly and Boba is always treated with love. Boba has gotten almost all of her toys here, and they last forever! They have an array of toys to choose from and TONS-TONS-TONS of treats and goodies.

I would really recommend the Himalayan chew bone, it is made up of Yack, lime juice, salt, and cow milk and it is a great way to replace raw hide. For those of you who don't know, raw hide can be dangerous to our pets tummies. Boba loves the Himalayan chew bone, and it lasts for about six days (and Boba's got some teeth..not to mention her pit-bull jaw).

I honestly don't mind the prices, the toys are all reasonably priced-I would even say cheaply priced and they are of great quality!

Boba and I love you Wiggly! Thanks for always treating us with love!!

I searched all over this city for a waterproof, warm cover/jacket for my lil' sidekick that was appropriate (the cute "costumes" at the larger local pet store were not functional at all).

Knowledgeable, helpful employees here.  We found the perfect coat. It was a down jacket with a nylon cover. Easy to install/remove. The velcro barely attached around his belly but they had something set up with the nearby dry cleaner to attach an "extender" if needed.

So here's the funny part.  I'm at the local bakery and this guy comments "he's a cute guy and that's cute how you dress alike too".  What?!  Then I realized his lil' puffy black quilted vest matched mine. But his was real down and cost $90, mine was fake and cost $20 from Old Navy.

I took him back here for his 15th birthday as they have special, unique items. Pricey but worth it.

Apollo really likes Wigglyville because they have all the toys and bones he could ever want and dream about. They seriously have a fantastic selection of doggie goodies.

Too bad whenever we walk in he picks out the most expensive rawhide he can possibly ever put in his mouth, chew, and poop out.

That's okay because we love him and he deserves it. If he's feelin' it, we're feelin' it, too. Unless of course it's another dog's butt. Then we're not feeling it. Nope. Not at all.

The first time I came here, the floor was slippery and I almost slipped and fell, the two clerks that were working were not overly friendly despite the fact that I almost just broke my neck, and seemed inexperienced to boot because when I asked them a question, all they had for me was "errr" and "dunno".

I left feeling guilty that I did not make the drive up to Lincoln Square to the pet boutique where I usually buy my cat food.

The third time I came in, this woman with very nice eyewear took about 15 minutes to explain to me what the different kinds of oral care she had in stock for cats, and what were the pros and cons of each.  And my cat loves this cheese flavored "salt" stuff that is supposed to rid her of tarter.  Let's see if it works....

Not only am I a new doggie mom, but I'm the mom of a rescued puppy mill dog who has issues...puppy mill issues...issues that take a lot of patience and time to get over. Some days, like any mom, I struggle to find the patience. Last week I thought that I was doing a horrible job as a mommy and that this dog would probably be better off in another home. It made me sad beyond words.

A friend suggested that I go to Wigglyville and talk to Hollis, the owner, and so I did.

Hollis gave me a lot of great training tips! I stayed in the store for over an hour talking to her. So far, the training that I have been implementing has slowly started working and my pup is doing a little better.

In addition to all of the great training tips, I picked up a super cute new harness and leash, food, some treats, a cute treat bag, and some doggie conditioner.

I like that Wigglyville is more concerned about your pet than anything else. They gave me some little sample packets of food to see which one my dog would like best. Hollis also suggested a great conditioner that was on sale, when she could have easily suggested a more expensive brand. (Side note:  It smells so good!  Is it weird that I want to use my dog's conditioner in my hair?)

Thank you Wigglyville and thank you Hollis!!! You made me a better doggie mom.

I wish yelp let other users comment on other reviews. To Kate: proof of purchase is not uncommon for stores to take returns/exchanges. The fact that she told you to come back and talk to the guy who helped you before and it wouldn't be a problem actually sounds like they were being very accommodating. To write a one star review simply because of a mix up with your understanding of a return policy is a disservice to fair representation of the business.
Anyway, I think Wigglyville, if a tad pricey for certain items. The case most of the time is that they carry higher quality merchandise than the average pet store, and the prices reflect that. I have never had anything less than stellar customer service, and they are always willing to answer questions about products while never trying to upsell.
I wish I could give an extra star for Tykus.

I can not say enough good things about Wigglyville.

We adopted a 10 week old puppy on a whim and although we were excited, we had nothing as far as supplies, or general puppy knowledge. We walked into Wigglyville to get a few things that we knew we would need: training treats, spray to deter from chewing, and some chew toys. We ended up leaving with tons of good advice.

Our puppy is now 4 months old, and we have been back several times. Not only is the store clean, and well equipped, the staff is personable, knowledgable, and helpful. And they LOVE dogs.

We literally spent 45 minutes in the store the first day, even though we knew what we needed. The woman was so helpful with training tricks and showed us a few examples on our new puppy. I actually found myself at home writing things down (so I wouldn't forget all of the helpful things she told us). She also recommended a puppy class, which I'm not sure I would have done otherwise, and it was so great and so helpful. Basically, we walked in clueless to buy a few items, and left with a lesson.

Beyond the staff. the place is adorable, and it has everything. It's smaller and you wouldn't think they'd have as many things as a chain pet store, but really, I've been quite happy with their supply. I love this place, and would recommend it to anyone.

Dope name for a pet boutique!

This is a fantastic pet boutique that I sort of stumbled across. I've heard about this place but never knew the location.

Where do I start, they have a huge collection of everything you can think of, and if they don't have it they can order it (9 out of 10 chance they'll carry it). They have bin after bin of dog clothes with all sizes to choose from.

The staff is very knowledgeable about everything, to the point where I was very impressed.

The prices are very fair, and if your looking to compare prices from other places then I say come to Wigglyville, you may be surprise with there great low prices.

If this was closer to my house I would make this my pet boutique of choice, they carry all the products that my dogs eat. I'll be back to check it out later in the summer.

Awesome store! The staff is super helpful and they have a wide variety of pet products. Their sale table is awesome as well and has some really good bargains.

They have this cool home deoderizing system that I've never seen before but I'm totally considering getting it. The sales people there were great because they didn't rush us into buying one of the systems and advised us to go online and research it because there were other vases that they didn't have in the store but they said they could order any of them for us so we could save on shipping charges :)

    I'm definitely going back!

I wanted to love Wigglyville with all their cute items for my pup, I really did.

I bought my boy some booties for his paws to protect them from the cold. The nice guy working said to make sure to try them out inside first to make sure they fit. Awesome. That's what I did. He assured me that if they didn't work, I could return them for store credit as long as they hadn't been worn outside.

Turns out, my pup won't walk in the booties and hates having them put on. Since they weren't exactly cheap, back to the store I went.

This is where things got weird. I went in, explained the situation to the lady working, and explained I'd like to just pick out something else instead. I still wanted to get something for the pup!

She inspected the booties and agreed they were in good shape and then told me to browse around. As I began to look, she stops me and asks if I had my receipt. Silly me had, of course, lost it somewhere. I offered to pull up my bank statement to show I had purchased the booties at Wigglyville, not somewhere else.

No no, that won't work says the lady. She needs a receipt to process the return. At this point I'm feeling a little irritated and pretty embarrassed.

Then she asks, who did you work with? I told her it was a nice younger guy. Well, she says, come back Thursday or Friday. That's when the guys who work here are scheduled. If they remember you, they won't need the receipt. They have great memories, she assures me. WHAT? So if you remember me, you don't need a receipt to process the return?!

The only reason this place gets a star at all is the nice gentleman I worked with the first time. I hate being belittled and straight up lied to.

All I wanted was to get something that my dog could actually use. Now I can safely say I've gotten nothing useful or pleasant from Wigglyville.

While out holiday shopping, I passed Wigglyville pet boutique and felt compelled to stop in.  You see, since getting our cats, I'm pretty hard-pressed to pass up a pet store; since I'm a newbie to pet ownership, I'm still getting the pet store lay of the land and feel like I owe it to my beautiful kittens to find the best of the best for them (yes, they are *incredibly* spoiled already).

...oh yeah.  And, there's this whole, Maximus and Maharani (said kittens) don't like each other.  Yet.  So Mama is doing everything in her power to make this transition easier.

I step in to Wiggleyville and I kid you not: anything you could POSSIBLY want for your pet is here:

Great selection of high end brands of cat and dog food (read: "natural"), comfy beds, a plethora of toys, a great section of books (which I may be re-visiting if these two aren't singing kumbaya together by the end of the week), cool carriers, collars, snow boots and sweaters for your dog (if you're that kind of owner)...this certainly isn't an exhaustive list, but you get the idea.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff to boot.

I was really, really impressed by the breadth of everything contained within Wigglyville's four walls.  This is a great, local, go-to shop where you won't miss out on a thing by skipping over the big box stores.  Pet lovers, you have to check this place out!

I liked this place. The store staff was friendly and helpful. When I asked about food items and leashes they were knowledgeable about how items worked and what kind of ingredients were used. They have a very good selection of collars and leashes, much better than PetSmart or Petco, and I do like both of those places, but this place seems to have more variety. Additionally, the treats they have for dogs (I don't have a cat so I didn't look at the cat stuff, sorry) are really quite impressive, especially the "Happy Birthday" cakes and bones you can get if you really want to spoil your best friend. :)

I love Wiggleyville because when my doggie and i visit, i feel less like a crazy dog lady than i know i truly am.  That's because everyone in the store spoils their pets rotten and buys whatever their dog sniffs once and then won't let go of (guilty).

The staff at Wiggley is great! They know Bella by her name and if she listens and does her tricks when they ask, they give her free treats.  Even when we're just going for a walk around the block, Bella will dig in and drag me into Wiggleyville's front door.  I have to pull her away and tell her we are not going in there today!!

Sure, the things in here are pretty expensive but you get what you pay for!  They have great healthy organic food options, tons of rawhides, and durable chew toys.  When you have a pit bull, cheapie Walgreens/Petsmart chew toys are a JOKE and just mean its time to get the vacuum out in 15 minutes.

Even though i can't afford the place (one star lost for my poorness), its a great little store to stop in and pick up a few goodies. And of course, no one loves it more than the pup herself, so they are definitely doing business well!

While the store lacks a major selection for cats, I've found a great wealth of opportunity to snatch up some cute items fit for medium sized cats, thanks to the surge in popularity of small sized dogs.

Thanks to Wigglyville for making my 4 wittle bitty cutie wootie peter piper muffin men into some handsome little devilcats.

The doggy stroller in the window caught my eye, as I have the very same one at home, and I thought it'd prob be a good idea to stop in and see if they had any fun accessories to go with it. I was immediately greeted by two friendly and helpful men who just love talking shop (animals). Something about a man who loves animals really turns this gal on.

Anyway, I found some super cute collars with rubber spikes and colored bells for my four princes and they were all surprisingly nominally priced. If you have stylish cats or dogs, I would defo recommend Wigglyville for it's vast and unique selection and it's reasonable prices.

    I love the name!!

Besides that, it had pretty much everything you could want for your dog; A food seciton, a toy section, a leash/collar section.

The staff was really nice and everything is easy to find.

Great location and you can even take your dog in too.

I really liked this place; I would go back.

Only setback is that it was kinda overpriced...I mean, $7 for a medium sized sqeaky toy?

I'm a bit surprised by how many positive reviews Wigglyville has received, which makes me hope that the frustrating and rude encounter I had at the store was a rare occurrence.

I went in the store on a Saturday and the place was busy. Still, the kind gentleman who worked the desk made sure to let my friend and me know that if there was anything we needed, to just let him know. We said thank you and continued to browse.

At this point, a woman came up to my friend and I. I've been told that she is the owner of the store, but I couldn't say for sure. Regardless of her position, she rudely asked if there was anything we were looking for in particular. When I said I was just browsing, she scoffed. Normally I would chock this up to a bad day, but when my friend asked about a certain display and what the device did, she rudely said, "why don't you read the sign?"

It's a shame that Wigglyville is is convenient (a mere 3 blocks from my apartment) but based on this experience, I can safely say that Wigglyville lost two customers today. In addition to being a little overpriced, as another viewer had mentioned, the service was absolutely appalling. I can't speak highly enough about the young man working there, but the conduct of the woman was so off putting, I don't think I can bring myself to go there again.

Wigglyville is your pet's Sephora, GNC, Whole Foods, and Bed, Bath and Beyond, all mixed into one. I just happened to be killing a bit of time and ducked into this pet boutique snugly nestled in on Broadway. My eyes widened when I saw the array of bath products, even balms and beauty products...narrowed when I saw the shelves of oils, vitamins and supplements...and began to glaze over once I saw the jars of treats and toys and stacks of houses and scratching posts.

I must have looked a little overwhelmed because a woman came over to ask if I needed help. I'd been toting a spray shampoo/conditioner for pet hair and she gently chided me, "No, trust me, you don't want that for a cat". Instead, she pointed out a salmon oil supplement that would help keep kitty from shedding. She also showed me a cat brush/razor that looked really scary/cool/expensive. Then she proceeded to give me 328749807523 cat food samples so I could play "pepsi challenge" with Phelps, my kitty monster, and figure out which food he liked best.

A few fun facts I did NOT know:
--wet food is actually not any better than dry food for cats' teeth, according to several veterinary journals. She even had passages underlined for me!
--Science Diet gives Anti-Cruelty Society and PAWS all their supplies, which is why they scared me into thinking nothing else would be good for kitty. Although apparently the kibble at stores (Purina, Meow Mix, etc) has a lot of filler carbohydrates, which cats' systems don't even process.

So pay a visit to Wigglyville - they are fun, cute and informative. The staff definitely does their homework, and your pet will totally thank you. It was a choice encounter that forever changed my life - and Phelps's too! He is currently chowing down on some grain-free kibble and purring away, FYI.

The cutest Pomeranian in Lakeview turned five years old this week, so while we were out for a walk with her new greyhound cousin, we all popped in here for some snacks.

So many natural treats and foods, and right there on display, Rio told me she wished she was as tall as her cousin so she could reach the table. Luna was nose to nose with the jars and the staff was so nice, they gave her some snacks on the house.

My cousin was talking with the staff about her pup's digestive issues and the staff was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful with remedies and information about her condition.  These people know their stuff!

Rio helped herself to the Drinkwell water fountain that was available for the dogs since she drinks nothing but purified water and turned her nose up at all the dog bowls with stagnant water that we passed outside on the street.

The girls both got some bags of the "Mellow Mutt" chicken jerky- Rio needs all the help she can get in the "simmering down" department, ya see.  We also got some dehydrated turkey medallions for super cheap that Rio went nutso for when we got home.

The next time we have a double walky date with the cousins (both human and pet) we will be back.

Wigglyville is my family's go-to spot for our dog needs.  They have a huge selection with high quality products but what really makes this store special is there staff.

We visit at least once a week, and they always remember my dogs name, idiosyncrasies and they greet him and make him comfortable.  They go above and beyond that, remembering our dog food brand so they can grab it for us in a hurry, suggesting new treats based off of old favorites, and even offering specialized advice and contact information if we have problems.

We can't say enough good things about this place!

It was an okay experience. The staff wasn't that friendly towards me, but I suppose that was okay, since I was just browsing.

The prices are expensive, but when you look at what you're buying- there's your answer. For this kind of pet store, they're on par with out boutiques. I got my cat some treats there that she didn't like and some strange wet food (some specialty stuff) that she adored.

It's out of my budget to frequent this place, but I can afford a few treats for my kitty.

Edit: I've been going there, because Trader Joe's is too damn far to frequent, I like to support the little guy, and all the pet food scares worry me to go to a chain store. I've fallen a little more in love with the store. I think because they're starting to recognize me, they've become friendlier and the one guy who works there is really, really cool.

Edit Again: They're for real, people. Besides keeping track of what my cats eat and remembering my name every time, they had this feral kitten they helped trapped and are taking care of. They truly do care about the animals.

The setting is so chill here.  The owners are a young couple who bring their daughter, who is ADORABLE and their dog, who is also adorable to work everyday.  They are both so knowledgeable, sweet and genuinely want to help you .

I rushed to the shop after work to pick up a harness they had special ordered for my dog, which ended up being too small (but we found another one that is perfect for her).  My boyfriend and I spent about 10 minutes in there after they had closed and there was no rush to get us out.  Also the selection of collars, harnesses and leashes are out of the ordinary with cute designs and textures, this is not stuff you can pick up at pets mart or target, people!

I don't mind the prices because of the service they provide and the high quality of their products.  I will definitely be back for all of my doggie needs.

I'm totally in love with this place.

This store was recommended to me by a coworker after she heard me griping about not being able to find a practical, good quality, yet semi-cute coat for my medium sized dog.  I didn't want a faux fur lined hooded parka with "Princess" spelled out in rhinestones, but I also didn't want my dog to look like she had raided my grandpa's closet, either.

From the moment I arrived,  I was treated as if I was the only person in the store.  The saleswoman showed me several different jackets and carefully explained the virtues of each along with some background on the manufacturers.  Wow.  Matilda left with an adorable pink Gortex "horse blanket style" wool lined jacket.

Another amazing thing about this place is that they have an equal amount of cat gear as they do dog gear.  Finally!  Most places that boast of being a "pet boutique" actually mean to say that they have a dark, dusty corner in the back of their store where they half-heartedly display some lame, overpriced cat toys and maybe a bowl or two with dancing fish on the side.

    Good work, Wigglyville.

I hate when people say "puffy heart", but I puffy heart James, Hollis (and baby Parker) and the rest of the crew at Wigglyville.  My dog adores their braided peanut butter rawhides, Frosty Paws ice cream, and Burns all natural food.

It's just nice to know where your pet food comes from, especially with all the drama last year in the pet food industry.  Mine comes from Valparaiso, Indiana and has 5 ingredients plus vitamins and minerals.  How many pet owners can say that?

Plus, James did not make fun of me when I wanted to buy my dog a coat (he's a 70 lb lab, but he is SKINNY and always shakes when he's out in the cold for too long - yes, I know he's spoiled). Instead, he helped me find the least-cheesy looking option, a black horse blanket.  Carter loves it!  He wore it sledding last weekend and was a happy little clam. ;)

To Em B. who left a bad review- you don't know what you're talking about!!! Everyone- disregard his/her review. First of all, the owners and staff are SO beyond friendly, gracious, and helpful. They are top notch - best in the city! And there are NO fancy pants dogs or owners traipsing around. It's not 5th freaking avenue, it's Broadway in Lakeview. Jeez!

This place is WONDERFUL! The staff knows you by name. They have everything you need and are endlessly knowledgeable about the food they carry- much more variety of food choices than most stores. They also give great general dog advice.Their toys, treats, leashes, bath products, etc., etc., etc are off the charts as well. It's really one stop shopping.

Our dog loves Wiggleyville and so do we!

So they've got just about the most clever pet store name I've heard.  The owners/staff are really friendly and helpful.  The store is geared more towards dogs rather than my favorite pet, the cat.  But we've found some good toys for our cat princess, Bailey.

It's a fun spot to stop in to see some serious dog-owners.  Costumes, elaborate dog beds and such.  Too much? perhaps.

UPDATE: 7/2010 We now have a beloved french bulldog named Franklin.  The folks at Wigglyville were very helpful suggesting good foods for him as we struggled with digestive issues.  They have a great selection of toys and everything else you might need.  Smart staff and very kind.

When we walk down Broadway and pass Wigglyville, my dog stops and whimpers if I don't let her go in. I have to say, I am just as smitten as she is.

I first found Wigglyville when I was new to Lakeview and scoping things out. As I only had a cat then, I bought her a cutesy toy but didn't have much need to go back unless I needed a dog fix - until that winter when my cat decided that she was cold, and curling up around our ancient, spitting radiator was the way to go. Not only that, she would push the crank with her paw until it was on full-blast, at which point it usually spewed hot water because, hey, I was 18 and couldn't afford a nicer apartment.

So I read about heated cat beds online, but was overwhelmed. I was really worried she wouldn't use it, because I had previously bought her a bed that she wouldn't touch. I went into Wigglyville to see what they had and ended up talking to the friendly staff who told me all about which bed was the best because it only turned on when the cat was in it and how to make a "catnip tea" to spray in there to get her to love it. Sure enough, it's the only bed she's ever loved.

When we got our dog, trips to Wigglyville became a weekly thing - and still are! I love supporting a local business, and while some things are more pricey than Big Business, the expertise is usually worth it. They have one of the best selections of natural and healthy pet food around and I've never been disappointed in a product I've bought here. Can't say enough good things about the store or the people!

Shopping for my imaginary dog in the past is NO where near as fun as shopping for my real one now!

This store is very cute. Has a lot of unique and hand made things and you can tell the people who work here love animals and know a lot about them.

I especially enjoy their stock of Cub related articles. Cubs collar, leash, jersey, CHECK- my little Sheffield is ready for the season to start on the 31st!

    Go Cubbies!

Great, GREAT place.  If you want help choosing a healthy brand of food for your pet, you should definitely come here.  Although I live in the Gold Coast and work in Hyde Park, I always go to Wigglyville for advice on food and treats.  Although, shamefully, I am sometimes disloyal to Wigglyville when picking up the usuals (there is another great place on my route home), I make sure to shop here (w/ puppy) often.  They've recommended our food, our treats, our trainer, our groomer, and where we board, and they have always been right on!

Whoever called the staff b*#chy is obviously working for a competitor, because that couldn't be further from the truth.  The staff is extremely kind and helpful, which is why we come here.  It should also be noted (actually, STRESSED) that they (or at least some of them) have experience as vet techs.  That makes this store really stand out from the rest.

    Thanks Wigglyville!

Best of everything- treats, supplies, toys, service. The super knowledgeable staff is usually my first stop for advice now.

For my lab, they have the best "rough" toys and treats that last a little bit longer, and some they'll even return if they break quickly.

My favorite experience was fitting my dog for his first Chicago winter. They helped get the boots on him, one by one, got him to walk around the store and trained us on how to train him to walk in them! Great service.

I would love if they were a little less expensive, but now I know I am getting a lot more than what I'm paying for when I make a stop. Love supporting this local business!

This is a great pet boutique in the city, they have TONS of toys, several of which my puppy is happily trying to kill currently.

Very friendly employees, lots of natural treats and a bully stick bar, although they do sell rawhide, which are terrible for dogs.

They also have a lot of ointments/ear solutions/bathing products, etc.

Has lots of good quality food for your kitty or dog and located in a good location in my neighborhood. Prices seem reasonable and consistent with prices at other pet food shops (meaning that it's on the expensive side, but VERY good quality - but I think my cat eats less with the good food and she seems healthier, so it all evens out).

The staff was friendly - both workers were talking to me, making sure that I found what I was looking for (Wellness grain free for my fat cat!).

I trust Wigglyville to not poison or kill my pets.

And after finding out about all of the junk that has made it into pet foods lately, that's saying something.

The owners of this place (and well just about everyone who works there) is gaga about Fido or kitty cat in your life.  In our case we've got 1 Fido and 2 kitty cats.  And boy do those suckers eat.

Oh, and for those of you with water dogs, this place has got some of the best toys around.  We've found some great tennis-ball type toys there, including a tennis-ball stick, which floats and flies well, and a football that our little pooch just goes ape-$#!% over at the beach.

While Wigglyville doesn't offer the cheapest food around, what they do offer in spades is good advice about food selections and general hygiene for your pet.

And they won't poison your surrogate kids.

So, if you are looking for a place to "conveniently" knock off your animals, this isn't it.  But if you are looking for a place to get healthy, organic food, a variety of dog and cat treats, including dinosaur bones for your dog, then this is your store.

My new puppy and I just visited Wiggleyville for the first time this morning. She was terrified but I loved it. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be going back (Kukla might not make the trip) for treats or toys.

I couldn't give all 5 stars because some things were just crazy overpriced ($25 collars!) but not everything. Some things are worth paying extra for the knowledge of the staff but some things just aren't worth that much. The very same leather collar Kukla has on right now was $30 more than I paid for hers at Petsmart. And I don't need any expertise picking out collars.

I am completely impressed with this gem of a pet store.

I called the store a few days prior to inquire if they sold the dog food, Fromm.  That's what my lil' guy currently eats and I wasn't ready to transition to a new food quite yet after a crazy move.  They sold it, so the hubby and I walked to go get the guy some food!

Walking in I was taken aback by the layout, merchandise and very friendly staff.

First off, the food selection.  Fromm dry food was there and for the price we paid back in Austin (woohoo!).  They also had cat food which was great too.  We have a cat who has IBD so he can only eat grain-free Wellness wet food at that moment along with his prescription dry.  (Today when we walked in and the cats saw the wet cans, they were meowing and purring, they know what crack looks like!)

Second, the merchandise.  The hubby and I were marveling at this over the door contraption for cats to play in.  Our female cat is quite perturbed she has no where to go or carpet to scratch so we were looking for something for her.  It was named the Cozy Kittywalk and the worker and/or owner talked to us in great detail about it.  They also sell those crazy catnip filled tomatoes, bananas and cigars cats go crazy about.  And, if you're a Cubs fan, they have all that merchandise as well.

Third, the staff.  I could not have been more impressed with them.  I really like mom and pop pet stores that care about their products.  I asked about Angel Eyes and the guy behind the counter told us they wouldn't sell it after a discussion with a vet.  They are knowledgeable about their products including the food.

Fourth, their prices.  Based on food and toy prices we've paid in Austin, this store was priced just the same.  There was no markup for being in the middle of a bustling neighborhood.  Huge bonus!

We'll be there each week!  Couldn't recommend them more!

I really love this shop. I wish it were closer to my home!

First good thing: Great sized pet shop that allows people to walk in with their pets and... it does NOT smell at all whatsoever.

The owners are super helpful and knowledgeable when it come to selecting pet foods, toys, etc. They also seem to have a great selection of cat toys that change each time I come in. My cats are always excited to have something different to play with. (New textures.. new styles.. etc). The toys are at a great price as well. This is wonderful, since the cats shred them within a week or two.

The store stays up to date with new trends on food. (Ie. Innova's transfer of ownership). They also have alternate recommendations for foods, and mentioned that they are closely monitoring the ingredients for changes. This is great-- because it means I can rely on someone else to help me out.

Also.. I'd purchased a harness for my cats. I was hoping to take them outside without worrying about them running into the street. (Cats in cat shows wear these so wonderfully.... My moms cat is also excellent on a leash--- but I think it's because he grew up with a dog...). Slow introduction was my goal. Well.. after carefully selecting the harness with a friendly sales guy... I got home and tried putting the cats on their new harness.

I think they would have hurt themselves because they were trying so hard to get them off.... I felt so bad. So I put the harnesses away and forgot about them. On my next visit to Wigglyville, the person I'd purchased them with told me I could exchange them for something else. They remembered me. I was so excited! (I still have to remember to bring them with .. haha).

Overall... great variety of quality foods. Nice selections of toys, leashes, etc. I think they'll put in special orders for you if they don't have what you want... But they lknow a lot about what they sell. Definitely worth the stop!

Okay, I adored this place before I even had a dog!  This is where for the past year and a half I've done the dog shopping for everyone else that had a dog.  But now that I just adopted it's even better.  I get to walk my cutie right into that store and she has a ball!  And meets new dogs, while I meet people in the neighborhood.

I've heard a lot about it being pricey, and you know what?  It's worth it!  The jackets and such are cute and affordable for how well made and original they are.  I found a toy I wanted to get my Shih Tzu at PetsMart but didn't b/c she chews thru plastic too quickly to get to the squeaker.  She loved it - but then I found it at Wiggleyville in a stuffed toy!  So much better!

I recommend this place to everyone that has an animal.  The treats are fantastic - and again, pricier than what a big pet shop may charge but SO worth it in the end!  Your loved one will thank you!!!

    -EDIT-

I wish I could add more stars b/c of yet another fantastic experience here!  After much debate about going to holistic dieting for the dog...my partner and I started perusing the dog food here.  We were asked if we needed help and boy did we get it.  They talked to us for over 30 minutes and then we did the 'Pepsi Challenge' of samples of dog food for Sophie to try and see what she likes.  And also advice on treats etc.  I learned so much from them this weekend.  And now, I think we have a winner in the 'Pepsi Challenge' of dog food and are going back today to begin our healthier lifestyle for our pup.  We eat healthy so why shouldn't she as well right?

My dog almost dislocated my arm pulling towards Wigglyville and the glorious bounty within during his nightly walk. See, he remembered it.

He remembered the kind pats on the head, how the owner(s) each played around with hiim and let him mess with stuff. He remembered running into his one-time, awesome trainer (Brandi Barker) and getting a warm reception. He remembered that this was the place where he got his indestructable ball, which has lasted longer than anything else he has ever owned. He loved it so much, he carried it home in his little mouth.

He remembered being comfortable to just be 'the dog' while shopping. Great stuff. Good times. Happy pooch.

    Very, very sore arm.
